I love her. She's so genuine and warm. And she isn't trying to be someone she isn't. I'm also coloured and generally in South Africa, sometimes people judge us based on accent. So I'm glad she is her authentic self. And all the internationals (lol) are loving the accent so that's great. Also, the fact she loves Spur and didn't say something over the top shows how humble she is. We all love spur. Wishing Tyla all the success.
I always get goosebumps watching Tylas interviews. I simply love her funny, loud side. And not forgetting the S.A. slang with the 'YOR' and 'LITERALLY ' 😂😂
I have never known South African accent to be so attractive. I guess everything she does is and I'm a 65-YO Asian lady who's been amazed by her talents.
What a beautiful interview ❤🥰 I love the calm voice of the interviewer ✨ I do music and on the verge of giving up. It's so expensive as an indie artist but... Maybe one day... 🇰🇪
Ok I’m South African and I love me some Spur ribs and it’s that go-to family restaurant but the branding of Spur is actually KINDA cringe and offensive to Native Americans 🙃🫣 Also the menu is absolutely NOT Native American. It’s literally just a family restaurant with a kids play area, kids activities and really yummy burgers, chips, ribs, grilled meats, milkshakes etc. with local bbq sauces and some common South African side dishes but it’s not even thaaat “South African” in terms of our local food. It’s just a very loved South African family restaurant franchise………….😬 With a “Native American” theme and branding that’s a little cringe to be honest.
It’s cringe specifically because it’s arbitrarily-themed as “Native American” .. listen like I said I still eat there and it’s a forever fave but having spent some years in the US working and studying and I research indigenous cultures in Africa and the Americas .. to me it’s just a very bizarre concept. Just as cringe to me as a generically “African” themed restaurant in the US would be if it was just the restaurant theme and had no African food… I don’t know it just feels like those inappropriate Halloween costumes . But whatever it’s not that deep. Spur is a fave and I’ll never dispute that. Just another side of it that’s raised my eyebrows as I got older 🤷🏾♀️
South African children are raised to be free. I pick that from her and that Bayanda Walaza kid the way he handles interviews is almost the same in spirit. Liberated minds and spontaneous laughters is becoming a South African 2Ks signature.
*HER ALBUM IS A NICE SUMMER VIBE ...ALL THE SONGS SOUND THE EXACT SAME BUT THEY CAN BE PLAYED ON THE RADIO* SHE'S GOT THE RIGHT SKIN TONE, VOICE, BODY SHAPE TO BE A SUPERSTAR
Who do you wanna see pick their own interview questions next?!⬇

@@lizfiz911how is it cringe, like it is restaurant not to mention it a Native American THEME, not Native food
