- Tyla took part in LADbible's Snack Wars, as she tested some of the UK's best foods against meals from South Africa, including sausage rolls and beef jerky.
The 'Water' pop star tasted jam tarts and showed off her perfect British accent before comparing her childhood cereal to a UK classic.

As a South African who now lives in Britain and who enjoys both South African AND British snacks (and has eaten all of the above) I totally agree with all of Tyla’s picks (except for koeksusters - I LOVE koeksusters). I do think they could have got a better example of a sausage roll though 😂

The ingredient what makes the yellow in a cream egg is paprika extract, the other ingredients are pretty much just different sugars and syrups also egg whites.

That sausage roll needs sending back why didn't you get one from greggs ? and why pick a cereal that has no flavour whatever ?. They removed the good sugary taste from the wheat puffs so there was no competition
My childhood in a video. Those white shell Easter eggs and koëksisters are the best. Wish they were available in the UK.
They are! Yes, ok, £7 for a box of those Easter eggs is ludicrous, but we can get them here. I'm about to have some biltong now (again, very expensive, but really good!). You can get koeksisters, milktart, peppermint crisp, etc, but yeah, it's expensive.
