Analogue Solutions Colossus Assorted Patches, Sounds, and Sequences (Mobile video and audio)

- This is a Colossus owner's (@rezfilter ) collection of spontaneous sequences, sounds, and patches created solely on the Colossus Synthesizer.
The sound clips and sequences in this video were live and were not multi-tracked nor captured with a high-fidelity audio interface, and, in most cases, were recorded with a mobile device for posterity purposes.
They are too fun not to share. ✌️

I can imagine to purchase this synth and having lockdown for another 5 years or so.
indeed and I would have room for it just need that big cash to buy one
Even recorded on a phone mic you can hear the high quality sound. All devices from AS that I have laid my hands on sound very "high end" .
guy's a certifiable psychopath
Quite simply the greatest collection of patches and performances I’ve ever heard from a single synth. Magnificent 😃👍🏻👍🏻❤️
When you make a patch on this thing, it's an event.
It would no be IT without the lab coat.
(Congrats! Unbelievable recreation of the monster. Even the Kraftwerk guys are like, what, we can have our own now?)
time to pull out a mortgage and try my hand at early 242
Best Synthesizer demo ever!
Superb!
Excellent !
Tom, you are bonkers in the best possible way.
this is amazing!!! Congratulations!!!!! 🎉
🎉
Wow. Amazing.
What a wonderful beast 🥰
Great!!!
Incredible
INCREIBLE!!
This really is an amazing synth! If I had a spare 26k I would definitely be interested!
Actually, 26k GBP (pounds). With "tax, tag, title" it's closer to $40k ... but what a beauty!
Did anyone say dollar? It’s not the only currency yn 🤷🏽♂️
About $50K.AUD, plus another $5K for GST and god knows what the shipping would be. But what a beauty....
On the uptside, next time a f***ing burglar turns up to steal instruments, he aint walking out the place with this thing stashed in the duffle bag lol
This along with a Moog 15 would be my dream synth if I ever win the powerball lottery. At least I can settle for a Leipzig, Fusebox and Nyborg,
it's amazing! Every sounds is incredible!
I want it!
I got a lottery ticket in my pocket i gotta check still
I need open a studio to justify this. And divorce the cat.
this is nuts
To me this' machine is as awesome as the synthesizer TONTO😊 LOVE IT ❤️!!!!
If a 1960s Apollo Service Module could make music, it would sound like this.
Wonderful :)
beautiful
awesome
Even with fone sound capture!
too good!
very Industrial/EBM worthy 😄👍👍
Immense!!!!!!
Someday...
can I start a payment plan? I'm good for it!!!
Es tan hermoso ! Creo que Tom Carpenter diseña y vende sintetizadores pequeños para poder fabricarse el sintetizador enorme de sus sueños 🤣 va camino a eso !
Honestly, it's time for new releases by sound_of_science ;)
Lottery instant purchase
Oh my god
I heard some front242 in there 😁
Amazing if only I were a millionaire 🤩
hey are there any built in effects? or only external? and how many outputs are in the mix out?
Yes, there are two independent spring reverb units installed. ✌️ Two main outs L/R in back and two in front plus many other subs/combinations (it's modular!).
2:22 **lighter in the air**
The Sound at 3.00 Min hooked me, plz give us a nice minimal track included in:)
holy fuck
I keep thinking about just selling all my synths and drum machines, and some other shit, and coming up with about half of what that cost, and then putting the rest on a credit card, and just spending the rest of my life with it.
Sounds like a solid plan. 👌
At 2:22 The only word is EPIC.
Hey! It's incredibly cool. Please tell me if it is possible, at 9:04 a beautiful lead appears, is it a sem or a colossus ladder filter? :)
What you are hearing in this video is 1 Colossus sequence, all in real-time. Everything is the Colossus.
@@AnalogueSolutions Yes, I understand, all sounds are from one synthesizer, but if possible, I would like to know from which of the filters? I correctly understand that it has two types of filters installed, four SEM and four Moog Ladder filters (inspired by them anyway). Thanks! :)
@@AnalogueSolutions More specifically, I would like to know if a similar sound can be achieved with the Analogue Solutions Fusebox X? Because timbre, it seems to me, their sound is very similar.
I'd love to see what Vince Clarke could do with one of these.
black magic
I'll play scratch tomorrow, again 😑
To be honest I would only need 6 to 4 vco to make a good sound that it. not 12vco like god dam no cap 😂😂
Such a shame you didn't record direct... This instrument, if any, deserves a quality recording.
There are many direct recordings on our channel. As stated in the intro, these were impromptu recordings we're releasing for fun. Cheers.
