And to add to the praise, it was one of the few AAA releases without bugs of ANY kind. Got it for free back in december past year with my 6650xt, played it on day 1 and by day 10th i had already finished it without anything hindering my experience technical-wise. The game was very damn fun!

Absolutely loved desd Island 2, i would say its slightly open world as you can travel between areas when out of mission. I love the absolute brutality in this game, the status effects and how your able to use the environment. I agree that going out and purchasing this at full price isnt what I'd call the best decision but if its on sale youd be stupid not to. Keep up with the content 👍

Saints and Sinners (The VR walking dead game) was definitely underrated, however I hoped that the next one would have a little more to it, like an open world instead of setting places to go and loading into a small open area. The day/night cycle and the days getting harder as time goes on also wasn't the best way to go imo. If you got stuck in the story and wasn't sure what to do, you'd be punished by the game for taking longer than usual and that's not on the player - the game needs some clearer ways of directing the player. I'd just like the same game with more openness and allow the player to explore at their own pace, free to do some surviving on their own terms without feeling pressured by time for no reason other than the devs making it that way
@KezVanBeck yea I've already played the original that was ported to Quest 2. I don't even have a PSVR2 but excited to see another excellent RE entry in VR. I've legitimately played more RE in VR than outside of it. Its something special.
Even with all of the discussion about Day Before I am looking forward to it. The original division was a game I was the most hyped for in my teens and I loved it a ton and The Day Before could mix my favorite genre of zombies with gameplay reminiscent of Division

Dead Island 2 was the biggest surprise. I expected a gigantic dumpster fire a la Homefront The Revolution. Congrats to Dambuster or fishing the game out of dev hell and releasing a...pretty decent title. Waiting for the Steam release.

Yea I loved dead island 2 but I think Jake said it in the before you buy the story kind of just ends right as it picks up. I hope that studio gets a real chance to make their own game from the ground up. Bc they played clean up after the original dev team left.
I think they’re going to do a third it sold like 2 million in a month. Has a great foundation to build off expand combat skills,weapons, maybe larger areas and obviously more but I’m not worried they seem to know what we like in a zombie game
Lords of The Fallen came so close to a great co-op game, but any co-op game that doesn't allow you to share progression and GET WEAPON AND ITEM DROPS AS THE JOINING PLAYERS can %uck right off.

Im glad you included Vr games. Arisona sunshine 2 and S&S deserve the spotlight. RE4 will be even better in VR. MW3 is the worst call of duty zombie experience in my opinion.
Welp, seeing as nobody seems to be doing it, I need to shoutout Project Zomboid. Although it's an aolder game, they have been updating it massively and will continue to do so for a while. Really love that game.

As long as the enemies aren't so spongey. Hitting a boss with 200 sniper rounds to the dome got a bit old.
