Well this aged well. It’s crazy a version of the days before is 100% working well quite literally in everything. The running, the shooting, everything. Now the game releases and well it’s history. We get the opposite of the trailer. They even did a collab before the game released and advertised it in New York.
To be fair usually that only really happens if devs are pressured to released early due to stock investors or just fanbase in general, if they are just blatantly not even hiding the fact that the game isnt what they promo the company dies out extremely quick

We all can pretty much expect this to be completely different and probably not nearly as cool upon release. I hope I’m wrong. But time and time again we get these cool and promising trailers with the fake co-oo scenarios and other stuff. I hope this game actually is given the time needed to be as good as it can be, it’s pretty much a multiplayer TLOU and that sounds pretty epic so I’m all for the concept. I would like I for it to have the division aspect along with making/building a community. Repairing and renovating housing in that very community. Rescuing survivors(npc) and giving them jobs. Going for loot runs/resources to expand your community haha.
This looks wayyy too good to be true.. but I really hope this game comes out becuz I love zombie games. Looks really immersive whether you play by yourself or with other players.
If they make a multiplayer zombie game in like a GTA or red dead style mechanics with slightly better graphics and good objectives that would be a blessing

I would love to have this game T_T finally a multiplayer zombie game that looks like a zombie game. hope players can create their own server or something, or have the option to go friendly. or maybe have an area that's PVP zones. sometimes I want to explore, do missions, and kill zombies with friends. it's pretty stressful to always be thinking about being killed by other players
The driving through mud thing looks like it would get tedious real quick, cos you just know there's gonna be a LOT of driving backwards and forwards along the same route.

I don't understand this recent trend of getting excited about graphics. The most important thing in the game is the idea/plot/playability... the rest is practically unimportant, the game can be made even for PS3 and it will be 100 times better than PS5. PS I mean, I understand why release the PS5 because it would be useful to make money on the sales of this console
I also think the hype about this game is too big. I think it will never be this good and so goodlooking like these in these videos.... But We all really wish from our gamer hearts someone would make a game exactly like that. It would be the biggest and most selling video game for sure!

Early in Development? They want to release it in 3 month, so everything needs to be ready in 2 month because Steam needs 14 days to Test the Game and Approve it. There is No real gameplay Video anywhere. Its scripted Fake and all the gameplay is from Marketplace. Also the Dev Said He cant Develop it and He is Looking for free devs.
The gaming industry has a huge gap in it and people are crying out for a genuine survival zombie horror experience like this. Something like this where you scavenge for food and supplies. Help out settlements and explore a huge scary open world. To think something could be in the works is really exciting for me.

A zombie game this resembles is state of decay which if they noticed state of decay has a good amount of zombies in all areas. I read on a gameforum that apparently this game had public volunteers, but apparently one of them spoke out towards this game and said it may actually be a good contender next to DAYS GONE and State of Decay 2 without the fetch quests. (Edit) This game may not be as good as we want it to be, but at least they are trying, and thats something.
Same ,I was already getting annoyed at how long it took to plow through mud. Unless there's a mechanic or instance where you're trying to get through mud where a horde is behind you , I only see this amount of realism to be very torturous for me.
What I really like is that zombies don’t take 1 or 2 rounds to take down (except for headshots). Reminds me of the OG left for dead days. Hitting vitals take em down quick but body shots are less effective! Awesome!!!

I love when they show PVP interactions in these demos, but in reality nobody is that talkative or interested in fitting into the atmosphere of the game world. More like expect someone to sit outside griefing you with a sniper while eating loudly down the mic.
100% I thought the pvp battle royal era was over, great in theory but like you said no one works together and then the game will die a death, unless they have a single player mode or closed multiplayer this game will get boring real quick dodging a lobby of 20 people 🤷🏻♂️
In this case looks too good to be true because it is. Most of this "gameplay" is 1-2 years old, and it's all been recycled from previous videos. There are videos of actual developers reacting to this footage and they didn't have a lot of good things to say about the validity of it being real. Check out the developer and do some research, just don't expect this to come out on 3/1 in any form close to what this shows...if it comes out at all.

I think the problem is that game expectations are at an all-time high and the cost and time required to achieve these visions is also at an all time high and few companies can or want to invest that heavily into a project that may not succeed massively. So we keep getting half-baked projects with missing features cuz they had neither the time or money to finish or fully implement their ideas. I think it’s getting to the point where games need double the development staff to keep up but that’s double production cost.

First of all,this game looks awesome but,maybe because I am an old-fashioned man, I think that a game should have both,an individual story,with no interaction with other players,and an online mode for those who want that too. Honestly was hyped when they released footage of this earlier last year and had my hopes of it with this amount of detail. So tbf when they delayed it for this year, I thought heck even if they delayed another year I wouldn’t mind that. As long as they get it right or as close to it for launch I would be happy 😊

Dont think the devs will see this but I think they should improve the bullet effects on the enemies, right now it just looks spongy with no satisfaction to the player. Really hope this turns out well when it comes out.
Even if the developers drop this game like the division it still seems really good with just the mechanics of the game I’d be happy with just being able to have an open world with my friends being wary of other players and driving in convoys in humvees and the ability to loot anything I want and build a lovely house from just a run down lodge or build a Fort that can hold the zombies out along with the what looks to be a decent amount of guns and weapons to choose from.
Everyone praising this game for how amazing it looks need to dig a little deeper. There's about a zillion red flags all screaming "too good to be true" anyone can make a fancy gameplay demo but having this game actually be playable in an open world online setting is a whole diff story. I'd be willing to bet this isn't even real game play more than likely it's just a fancy tech video to cause hype. I will only believe this is real when I see it
Hate to be a buzzkill but It's a scam. It's just really well done trailers to get hype for a project too good to be true. The graphics are way too good to be an open world game like this especially since the company making it is a small company with only 4 games too It's name that have all been abandoned very quickly.

I can't be the only one who'd want a zombie game where you're in the action like a simulation you can control. Like for example you can control if they zombies should be fast or slow zombies. Then you're there in the middle of the action everything going down and you can choose different environments and stuff. Cities or towns, what I imagine is a game with good graphics and you choose different maps and stuff. Another cool thing would just be some zombie slaying gamemode. Either way each run off the game or simulation would be different each and every time and there'd be actions you can do whilst all the chaos is commencing. I know there's games that have some of the early outbreak chaos like The Last Of Us and Resident Evil games. But a game where you can try save people try to escape during the chaos would be extremely cool. Especially if you can press replay and do something differently also if one of the maps is larger one part wouldn't even know what's happening, but it would take a lot of time and effort make a game like that but it's something I'd like to see sometime. Also If anyone thinks this would be an interesting concept of a game please let me know in the thread of my comment or just simply like if you don't want to give feedback verbally.

Last I heard, they were LITERALLY asking for volunteer programmers to help work on this game. That was a little after June 2022 (original planned release date) Took it off my wishlist the same day. SMH

The most important thing in the game is the idea/plot/playability... the rest is practically unimportant, the game can be made even for PS3 and it will be 100 times better than PS5. PS I mean, I understand why release the PS5 because it would be useful to make money on the sales of this console

The gaming industry has a huge gap in it and people are crying out for a genuine survival zombie horror experience like this. Something like this where you scavenge for food and supplies. Help out settlements and explore a huge scary open world. To think something could be in the works is really exciting for me.

I’m afraid this game will be so open world there will be lack of zombies. A zombie game this resembles is state of decay which if they noticed state of decay has a good amount of zombies in all areas. This game demo seems to show lack of making it feel like a better day z or division with zombies added
I read on a gameforum that apparently this game had public volunteers, but apparently one of them spoke out towards this game and said it may actually be a good contender next to DAYS GONE and State of Decay 2 without the fetch quests.

Same ,I was already getting annoyed at how long it took to plow through mud. Unless there's a mechanic or instance where you're trying to get through mud where a horde is behind you , I only see this amount of realism to be very torturous for me.

What I really like is that zombies don’t take 1 or 2 rounds to take down (except for headshots). Reminds me of the OG left for dead days. Hitting vitals take em down quick but body shots are less effective! Awesome!!!

I love when they show PVP interactions in these demos, but in reality nobody is that talkative or interested in fitting into the atmosphere of the game world. More like expect someone to sit outside griefing you with a sniper while eating loudly down the mic.

In this case looks too good to be true because it is. Most of this "gameplay" is 1-2 years old, and it's all been recycled from previous videos. There are videos of actual developers reacting to this footage and they didn't have a lot of good things to say about the validity of it being real. Check out the developer and do some research, just don't expect this to come out on 3/1 in any form close to what this shows...if it comes out at all.

I think the problem is that game expectations are at an all-time high and the cost and time required to achieve these visions is also at an all time high and few companies can or want to invest that heavily into a project that may not succeed massively. So we keep getting half-baked projects with missing features cuz they had neither the time or money to finish or fully implement their ideas. I think it’s getting to the point where games need double the development staff to keep up but that’s double production cost.

First of all,this game looks awesome but,maybe because I am an old-fashioned man, I think that a game should have both,an individual story,with no interaction with other players,and an online mode for those who want that too. I don't like when I have to make progress in a game depending on other players' decisions instead of enjoying such game on my own.

Even if the developers drop this game like the division it still seems really good with just the mechanics of the game I’d be happy with just being able to have an open world with my friends being wary of other players and driving in convoys in humvees and the ability to loot anything I want and build a lovely house from just a run down lodge or build a Fort that can hold the zombies out along with the what looks to be a decent amount of guns and weapons to choose from.

Everyone praising this game for how amazing it looks need to dig a little deeper. There's about a zillion red flags all screaming "too good to be true" anyone can make a fancy gameplay demo but having this game actually be playable in an open world online setting is a whole diff story. I'd be willing to bet this isn't even real game play more than likely it's just a fancy tech video to cause hype. I will only believe this is real when I see it

Hate to be a buzzkill but It's a scam. It's just really well done trailers to get hype for a project too good to be true. I can't be the only one who'd want a zombie game where you're in the action like a simulation you can control. Like for example you can control if they zombies should be fast or slow zombies. Then you're there in the middle of the action everything going down and you can choose different environments and stuff. Cities or towns, what I imagine is a game with good graphics and you choose different maps and stuff. Another cool thing would just be some zombie slaying gamemode. Either way each run off the game or simulation would be different each and every time and there'd be actions you can do whilst all the chaos is commencing.
I know there's games that have some of the early outbreak chaos like The Last Of Us and Resident Evil games. But a game where you can try save people try to escape during the chaos would be extremely cool. Especially if you can press replay and do something differently also if one of the maps is larger one part wouldn't even know what's happening, but it would take a lot of time and effort make a game like that but it's something I'd like to see sometime. Also If anyone thinks this would be an interesting concept of a game please let me know in the thread of my comment or just simply like if you don't want to give feedback verbally.
