all the nerfs sucked and its w/e we ele its obviously going to happen but the one that stung is the haste nerf on primordial :(

You can proc equillibrium with Primordial Wave, it does elemental damage and their CDs are similar

For a moment, we bad a new rotation, new skills to use, new variations to choose. Now.. we are back to the same rotation as in DF s4.. and got numbers lowered.. 😢im crying now.
I never cared about us being top dps. I'm happy being middle of the pack. All i wanted for ele was a more interesting rotation and fun gameplay.
That's the thing I'm most disappointed about, is that this "rework" didn't do any of that.
such a doomer take. ele rework was fine. Its the "DN" part of the rework that didnt quite hit its mark...

Can't believe it. Spend time changing the spec and making us all excited for it... Then this. Massive nerfs. Probably end up being b or c tier... I don't even want S tier... Just let us enjoy A tier... Blizz please let shamans shine for once....
cant even enjoy the fire build fantasy, they nerf it to the ground. even the sith lord chain lightning from legion was ruined. Legion ele sham was my favorite but yeah w/e blizz nerfing ele sham everytime ruins the shaman overall. you cant enjoy 1 ranged caster spec? how about switching playstyles entirely into melee button mash spec? wdym all the damage is put into windfury weapon? you dont like it? blizz balancing in a nutshell xd

I don't understand why blizzard hates elemental shaman. They ignored him throughout the whole dragonflight. They even care more about the hunter who plays with four buttons. I have never seen any other class treated so unfairly. I think they buffed him for one season, enhantment melee class, elemental range is a completely different game, I don't care about the buff made to him. I don't understand why players like you turn a blind eye to this and don't speak out.
elemental shaman needed nerfs for sure but blizzard overnerfed mega hard. its still beta obviously but good lord blizzard slamed that hammer on ele way to hard. the only good spec as of now coming out of Shaman is Restoration
they used to nerf hammer a few weeks/months into xpac after you heavily invest into ele sham. been there done that for every xpac since legion ffs. the PvE nerfs make them suck more in PvP as well due to rotation changes or general damage reduction.
@petko I need you Elemental Shamans with a larger audience to stop being so passive about how bad the class is right now. Look at the mage community and the arcane "fix." Blizzard reverted that so quickly because they have streamers who actively complain and suggest fixes instead of just letting Blizzard disregard them. While we might not have much influence over Blizzard's decisions, I believe if the Elemental Shaman community bluntly pointed out the faults of the class, Blizzard might reconsider some of the changes they've made.
nah son, sham only has that ele spec as a caster and its constantly gutted every xpac. either a few weeks in to a few months after heavily investing in a spec with specific gear. which would suck if enh was heavily buffed and ele sucked all of a sudden. shamans constantly get screwed. mages have 3 caster dps specs to roll from, its not that deep dawg.
was so excited to come back to the game as my good ol ele since vanilla.. only to be let down.. again
As a person who only ever played Elemental Shaman for years and years and years, I really thought TWW might be enough to make me come back to the game. But after these massive changes, I'm fine with sitting out another expansion.
blizz and their eternal hate for ele shams is ridiculous. i remember dragonflight launch i had fun for 1 month before they nerfed us to the ground
i have leveled a shaman every expansion since 2004 this will be the first expansion i wont level a shaman ill just level an already over tuned assassination rogue that got buffs.
after all these years i have come to realize blizzard doesnt know how to balance they over nerf and over buff.
how do they never have a hard time with druids with feral/balance, 2 completely different playstyles 1 melee dps/1 caster dps, and they both always at S tier. but they see shaman having fun with ele and they immediately gut that class to hell.

What is your opinion on Lightning build? Will it be stronger in the next expansion? I really miss playing a shaman and spamming chain lighnings
As a PVPer, I think elemental feels so bad right now.
Bro test this build out. Full lightning. Earth Shock, all lightning talents, surge of power, 0 icefury talents, earthen talent + elemental talents and Wave + Magma totem. I used it in M+ on Beta and it was shredding
it sucks, but why people already complaining ? every class will get nerfs and buffs. I be sure they will fine tune it a bit in the coming weeks. lets be honest, Shaman was a bit op last week
Yeah, those beheaded nerfs is blizzard casual reaction, warlock and unholy was dogshit after nerfs too, now they are feels fine. But for shamans, i dont know man, they dont like that class so much😅

Yeah, coming from a Shaman, who played Ele last season, Ele on pre-patch is way over the top. ELE blast hit me for 11mill in full pvp gear. This was also in world content. Its a little out of control, but I admit nerfing it into the ground is not the way either.
It is obvious that shaman is totally destroyed ! 19 years and Elemental Overload for 20 = deleted ! -% DMG Spells !!! And you sey Elemental is best version? Pfff
Personally, i like maelstrom changes, because i finally get to cast something without insta overcap, but spenders must hit like a truck right now, like they was, they shouldn't be nerfed...
You are playing with frost dk who got buffed for who knows why and with a lock who received 20%+ buffs. Ofc ele after nerfs will look bad compared to those busted specs.

I just don't understand why blizzard is having such a hard time tuning specs. Theres alot of specs with fun and amazing playstyles and then they nerf certain abilities and then that playstyle is crap and have to find another playstyles. Why not keep the playstyle and just do aura buffs and nerfs, like all abilities increase/decrease by 3% or 5% until all specs and class are closer in line instead of destroying the playstyle and the spec or is it more complicated then that? From what im seeing it kinda makes blizzard look like they dont know math or reading statistics because if a spec is 15% to 20% stronger then other specs and then they tune it down and then its 10% weaker then other specs? Where is all the miss calculations coming from? Its like they are playing darts and instead of numbers they are using abilities and what ever they hit they nerf that ability by x% or something. Makes no sense

Why did you drop icefury? It got buffed and still sends a free ele blast, thats big single target value as well as movement.
Also did you try aftershock now that totem is a 24s cd? I feel like u dont need SoP as badly now with this change and haste is reduced from splintered anyway. Remember back at the end of SL? An aftershock primal ele NO SoP necro prim wave LvB DRE build existed and was viable. So

Recently found a vid of Enh getting 1.61m overall (0.01m ahead of the Frost Mage) in a +12 Necrotic Wake if that matters.

Blizzard or something was ! , Deleted the shaman , and changed the game to be for Alliance players and some New "" Colour Up .. .and alliance race . Just take a DK out +buffs ,well fed and a Vanguard Cleave ..Em All!

Most disgusting gameplay I have ever seen in my 16 years of playing this spec. They singlehandedly destroyed a fun, fast paced spec with the nerfs and bug fixes
