I admire your Skills. Looking forward to seeing the GS 450, after it's engine transplant. It brings back good memories of my GSX 250, but I never had your maintenance skills. Thanks for sharing your, hard work, dedication & enthusiasm. Great videos.
Great comment and so kind thanks. You and me both! It's sad when your bike is off the road because it's broken. Lots more hard work and I'll get there, it's worth it! Hope you now have another bike and why not try teach yourself maintenance skills. That's how I learnt, now a days RUclips is a fantastic place for "how to" videos. It's so much easier watching someone that knows what there doing and following the steps. Easier than reading a manual lol. I hope I've inspired you! Ride safe and all the best 👍😀
Thanks for your comment. Congrats and well done! Great to hear your news. Cheers and best wishes. Now the hard works over you can enjoy! Stay safe and ride free :)
Again another great video, I'm not sure I could get my head around that Spaghetti Junction of wires but you make it all look simple. It's really interesting to watch and the bike taking on a slightly different personality & working well. All the best.
Great comment thanks and much appreciate you watching. Tackling a wiring loom was quite a challenge but worth the effort lol. All the best and stay safe :)
Great comment thanks hun and very true lol. My manual/wiring diagram has been a life line! What would we do without them eh! Hard work and perseverance will pay of in the end :)
Thanks big bro. It's funny, I love twin lamps on a bike but I agree with you. I think the bike looks more manly! lol. Hope your keeping safe. Lots of love and big hugs 😀👍
Thanks Mal and yes perseverance is the key. Sounds like your making progress getting your frame back. My advice if you have any problems is a wiring diagram will help but hopefully you wont need it. Good luck and all the best with it :)
Cheesus Woman ... That's Proper open heart surgery. Super Well Done for your patients and ability... I would have Slammed it against the wall by now lol
Brilliant comment thanks ma besty. Made me smile and yes lots of hard work! My knowledge and skills are improving thanks to the bike! lol. Hope your keeping well and chat soon hun. Stay safe and have a great week :)x
With a pixie map showing directions, our hero now turneth detective, tracking down, with gentle frown, volt canyons wot seem defective. So Squint must becometh a Cyclops, as Haywire circuits are found, so the pixies can now take the right path, through all the goodies to ground. Now all of the pots are back firing, & the pipes eject feathers & clag, (I do wish you'd test with a damp cloth, the thought of you hurt is a drag : ( This brings to 'light' a slight problem, for one headlight cannot be cross-eyed, his cred has now gone, you can't squint with one, so he needs a new name . . . but I tried : ) x
Brilliant as always thanks hun and I love your sense of humour! Your comments are the best! I'm so pleased I found those bad pixies and set them straight however despite becoming a Cyclops we can't change his name!!! No no no that wont do lol. Sorry hun its written in stone now and forever more! Haywire MacSquint it is lol. I hope your ok with that :)
The lady with the lamp has spoken! . . . so it must be . . . all hail Haywire MacSquint - Monarch of the Glam! (Also found this beauty last night, I shall call it 'Kronblad the Bad' as kronblad is Norwegian for 'petal' & matches it's smoothness & delicacy - plus, the comment about it's mirrors is a killer. @@loddude5706 Wow! Amazing bike and it cooks diner how good is that! A bit of a bone shaker but truly awesome! Thanks for sending to me hun. Cheers and have a great week :)
I got there in the end thanks hun and no it'll never go in the house again lol. I'd say it's almost ready for an MOT but the cold weather has already arrived. I'll finish the bike so it's good to go for Spring and do a couple of projects on the other bike but planning a winter break after xmas. I'll post a video nearer the time explaining plans :)
Hi R Q can I ask you is it possible to do electrical tests on stuff without the engine fitted .This maybe a completely stupid question but I am not very good on electrics I have a multi meter I am guessing of course you would need a battery connected of course . Cheers Mal
Hi Mal and yes there are simple tests using a multimeter for the coils, regulator stator coil and pick-up. No battery involved. You'll find everything you need to know on RUclips. Just put in "how to...." That's how I've been learning and it's helped tremendously. Once you get the hang of the multimeter it gets easier. I wrote all the different tests down so I can refresh the memory if needed. Hope that helps. Good luck and have faith! You can do it! :)

So ... you did it again.
Are you now going to put the bike inside the house :-)
Because it is starting to get cold again.
Or do you do the other bike?

This is the part that alludes the less than diligent. Even when it seems your doing the greater justice to it, the results are less than adequate.
