I love any place foraging. I watch another channel from Wales, who does coastal foraging with his dog. His dog likes to catch anything caught in tidal pools. That guy finds edible plants that grow near the tidal pools AND creatures left in the tidal pools and stuff. And then he cooks them and eats them right there on the shore. I've been so amazed how plentiful food truly is in the wild.
Things I've learned: 1. Don't eat stuff that you're not sure about. 2. Ants might be wasps. 3. Some bugs are either friendly or dead or both. 4. If you look down in Florida, you'll find shark teeth. 5. Shrimp are gonna stab you 6: Squish all the moss!
Not only do I love to watch you both do the foraging and fishing but I want to see some clean and Cooks also next time it would make things a lot more interesting to see how you guys prepare your food!
Wow that is so great that you guys can spend one day on the water and catch that many huge shrimp! And the chantrelles were so abundant too! Its amazing that you guys can literally forage enough in like a week to last you two literally for months! Thats wonderful! Thank you for showing us how abundant foraging can be. I think that is amazing!
!!!!YES!!!!...we're thoroughly enjoying the diversity of your videos. More at the ocean would be !!!!AWESOME!!!! If you do some "catch & cook" it will be VERY INTERESTING. Personally, I'd LOVE TO SEE Bri display her culinary skills :-) Occasional updates on your garden would be cool to see as well. Best regards, Ben
I always enjoy your videos. Educational and always an amazing adventure. You guys are a perfect fit. How can anyone NOT like Bree, beautiful woman with a beautiful smile
I absolutely love watching you and Bri. Your adventures into nature and knowledge the two of you share with us is so worth watching. Thanks for the amazing content, keep em' coming!!!
Love the fishing, foraging, and shrimpin. You guys are such a great couple. I'm glad you found each other and share similar intrests. ❤ I'll be watching.
Love the coastal foraging, Chris! I'd really like to see you harvest scallops. The mushrooms are awesome, when we lived in Alaska, wild mushrooms were the highlight of our year!💖
Love watching you and Bri foraging for mushrooms and shrimp. I use to live in Mobile, AL and we had shrimp on the menu every week. Would live to see how you guys cook your finds. Your fossil finds are always awesome and love the tutorials. Leah W.
Love watching you two do what you do. Very informative Chris and I love the content and the concept. Retaining your own food from the source was a wonderful idea and I would like to see more of this type of content. See you soon my friends. Cheers
Chris, just wanted to let you know that my 9 yr. old grandson has become one of your favorite fans. He loves going to rock and fossil shops, and is always looking for treasures around his house. I introduced him to your videos, and he now says this is what he wants to do when he grows up. Thanks for the inspiration and please keep posting videos, my grandson is hooked!
One of your BEST vids. Yup…stone crab. Yup….the shrimp run has been BIBLICAL. I clicked for for paleontology…got so much more. You can throw a net….of course😀 Holy ….. think that was a triple tail😳. Loving it! Johnboat power! Very glad for the subscribe. Carry on😊 J Ps…would be good to know when the recording was done…only hint is the moon J
Shrimp can last for up to one year in the freezer maybe a bit longer for fresh caught, it's best to eat it within three months after that the taste isn't quite as good
That was entertaining watching you catch a lot of shrimp and harvesting lots of mushrooms too. Nice to have your own grocery store in the wild. Wouldn't mind at all seeing more of your foraging for dinner. Great video.
Must be an amazing feeling to just walk out the back yard and collect food like that in the forest. Love the diversification with the stone and fossil videos. Also, these kinds of vids may come in handy for survival skills in years to come when the great depression is going to hit.
wowww, Love your videos, we want to see more, everything you mention, and i Love to see you guys together, you too are ADORABLE, GOD BLESS YOU BOTH. just be careful, with snakes and spiders, LOVE YOU BOTH, BLESSINGS🙏🙏❤
yes send us more foraging videos. I do the same here on Vancouver Island British Columbia Canada. We try and live off the land as much as we can. I have been thinking about starting a RUclips channel but still trying to get used to the camera LOL. Take care
You guys should do tours or personal excursions. I would love to see some of those rad spots...especially where all the fossils are and the agatized coral....good critter and biology..more local birds?
That would be awesome, but when you start taking large groups of people, especially those who are just tourists and don't know how to really "leave no trace" the area becomes beat down, and stripped of everything pretty quickly. Lots of traffic, more than just the 2 or 3 of them at a time, can really impact the environment and cause even more erosion to river banks and such. It happens to almost every natural place when humans discover it and lots of people come, walk around, forage, etc some areas were even declared off limits because humans were causing so much damage.
I saw a tip about stopping the ticks from crawling up your legs. You wrap a bunch of sticky tape, with the sticky side out, around the top of your socks. As the ticks crawl up your socks, they get stuck on the sticky tape.
Man we are like kindred spirits mushrooms rocks fossils and fishing nets. I live in NC I would love to show you guys a few kool places here. I really enjoyed this video.. You guys are fun to watch.
You guys are a couple of months ahead of us here in France. I forage at the local lake and regularly get huge ceps, although I've only found a couple of chanterelles. The great thing about living here is that I can get things identified by the local pharmacy!
Yes i've never seen coastal foraging, this is so fun! i'm super scared of the ocean so i'll just watch and learn along the way! Thanks for the fun video!
Yes to all of that. We'd all love to see whatever you guys are doing. Foraging, fishing... whatever... we like all of that!

Love the diversity in subject matter. I learn so much from your channel. Please keep it up! You guys are great!
Love to watch you both no matter if you are foraging or fossil hunting or whatever.
