I would consider that Mako a day-maker! I didn't realize they got that big. As always guys, I love when you team up. But, I have to say that I was very jealous. Six weeks in an apartment and I am climbing the walls. I need a day in the water.
20 years ago I bought 2 shell necklaces with tooth hanging (one was a megaladon and the other a fossilized shark tooth) for my husbands birthday. I got them from "the Shark Hunter" on ebay. He collected them by his place in Texas, on what had been the floor of an ancient sea. My husband passed away, but our son wears them and they are really cool to look at! Just touching a piece of ancient history is kind of overwhelming. Nice memories.☺
Totally picked up another Paloepack. My kids love them. The chance to get a giant fossil is going to make my son lose his mind. I live in Vegas and only know of areas where you aren't aloud to keep anything you find. Thanks for putting in the work to offer and ship these!
Hey Chris....why not set up an "identification guide" on your youtube channel for shark's teeth and other fossils? You can do it with still shots only, that we can step-through. Like give us a front and back of that Mako you just found, along with an average size Mako, and a ruler as a gauge. You can do it for each of the types of shark's teeth. PaleoChris' Guide I think would be well-received by your followers, and might even bring in more followers. Keep up the good work!

My daughter has a Rock tumbler. For days and days we can hear it running in the basement. It’s so incredibly noisy we put it as far away as possible. But it is amazing what those rocks look like after they have gone through the process!

I have two of the paleopacks and I haven't even opened the second one because we've barely gone through the first. there is a LOT of gravel in that small bag, and we've gotten so many tiny teeth from it.
Just ordered my second pack. We had a great time hunting through the first pack with my six-year-old nephew and three-year-old niece who decided that everything she picked out was a cute baby shark tooth.😂 can’t wait till I can see them again and have our second hunt to add to the collection!

Just ordered a kit. I cant wait to go through it with my kids. My youngest who just turned 6 told me she wants to be a paleontologist when she grows up. I wish we had more fossil hunting opportunities here in Washington state
When I was little we used to camp at peace river and you could just dig your hand in the sand and pull up shark teeth. I still have a lot of them. The best find was just walking down to the river from the campground one morning. I kicked what I thought was a coconut shell, but it was a 3"x3" fossilized tooth. I still have it. We were told that it was a great white tooth worth up to about $300. Most others were tiger shark teeth.
There are some little off the shoulder parking areas or we get back there via atv. I hunt here and my kids play in the water. Could be my swamp children lol. But there are a lot of the farm workers that fish and swim around there too.

I went to Venice Beach,Florida and found a bunch of teeth, but that's not the best part while walking on the beach I found a small but awesome great white tooth!!! It was awesome!!!

Chris get some tea tree oil and rub it around your ear that is bothering you. Don’t put it in your ear but rub is all around it a few times a day and it will get better
The foot print was probably my friends 13yr old sons print. he was excited when we showed him you guys were hunting out at our spot( my family's property butts up to this location) . he left you guys a message on the bank near the limerock/ clay bank.

I’m strongly leaning toward buying a few paleo packs, I’m doing a fossilized riverbed themed fish tank with some beautiful plants and guppies. I’ve got it all set up and kinda want to scatter some of the paleo pack onto my gravel and river rocks. I’ll keep in touch !

Finding that footprint reminds me how Robinson Crusoe, without warning, "was exceedingly surprised with the print of a man's naked foot on the shore." He was so frightened he retreated to his fortification and stayed inside 3 days! Were you apprehensive at all when you saw it? Just a bit of advice try using a sand flea trap that you see people using at beaches instead of using your hands. Won’t have to bend over !
