We Found LOADS of Fossil Sand Dollars, a Crystal Filled GEODE and Shark Teeth on the River Banks!

- This was a fun multiday hunt, exploring Eocene-Oligocene river banks along a massive river here in Florida! We located tons of different species of echinoids such as sea urchins and sand dollars. There were also a few shark teeth located and an INCREDIBLE geode that was way beyond my expectations. We already can't wait to go back to this area and go even more exploring, possibly including some scuba diving.

Our Pennsylvania Bigfoots actually make chicken and rooster sounds to try to trick you into their traps....we don't fall for that in these mountains. 😉😂
Cris and Kyle really bring out the silliness in each other. It is great to watch the 3 of you having fun and educating at the same time.
-I like cheese it’s too.
-I love that you explain everything. You know so much. You should teach or do tours.
-Sand dollars are my favourite.
-Bree always finds the greatest finds. 🤣🤣.
That's an amazing crystal, but the best find of course is Bree's shark tooth.
20:30 is that a horseshoe crab in the bottom right? (the thing you put your foot on)
Man, this episode is so cool. Miss Bree is your good luck charm.
She finds all the cool stuff..
Thanks for inviting us along..
Was just talking about you and boom, brand new video! 🙌🏼
Glad to see the gang all back together, you guys have each been all over the place lately doing a variety of treasure hunting. Love these videos also.

The bois are fighting over an echinoid so Bri gets to have it! 😤😉

We need more of bre in the videos!!! 😉👍🏼
Great video brother. In the words of Kyle, "Always check the bank for mammoth teeth."
I feel like this is a video full of classic moments and finds. Glad to see y'all together and hunting for treasures!
Hi

Love love your videos. Always entertaining. You make fossil hunting look fun.
Man that was worth the wait. You guys are freaking awesome. The dream team!! Always get such a kick out of your antics. Love it!!
I lost it when the A-10 flew by, last thing I expected
❤❤❤❤ the video. I love all those type of shells.
Girl you done did it!
Between the finds and the gang, that was a blast to watch!
I agree with Donnie Walker, it's good to see the gang back together. I had to laugh though, when Chris talked about how "really old" these fossils are. 35 million years! I live in Michigan. where, as Chris, Brie, and Kyle all know, you can walk down the beach and pick up Devonian fossils. I love the sand dollars though and the other echinoids. Happy Holidays to you all! And be glad you are not in Michigan, lol.
So jealous!! Thank you for sharing! Time to dive it!!💜
Love your channel! Just bought a pack of fossils for my kiddos! They love hunting for the tiny shark teeth!
Full to busting with great awesomeness 😁. Love it. ❤️ Thank you 🤗

THAT RIC IS FREAKING INSANE
Ahhhh sheiieeez, what an awesome video!
The jet fly by, the super awesome diversity of fossils found, AND coral geode saw cutting! Overall a banger of a video!
Speaking of that coral geode! I'd love to buy another one heh, especially the one sliced at 16:20 in the video because it's so dang cool! If not, totally understood! It's super beautiful!
Soooo fun to watch. Thank you for bringing us along on your adventures, friends😊

Great video… Good to see you all together…
Great video, & a great group of friends.
Amazing fossil day! Congrats!
Fun fossil adventure! Hope you and Bri have a wonderful Christmas if we don't see you before! :-)
Awesome finds!
Dude what an awesome video! So many awesome fossils found. Those Oligocene echioinds are probably Rhnycholampas.
beautiful finds guys!
I love the fossil videos! Arrowhead hunting the bomb too 🔥🔥(hence my chanel) make sure to keep your eyes open for em!
Also that plane that flew over is an A-10 Warthog, one bada** plane. Sadly it is being discontinued In service.
Gorgeous finds
Makes me want to go down to Florida and explore the rivers 😅 Love these videos
Was just thinking to myself last night, I wonder when they're going to come out with a new video? And then today hurricane a good one. 👍🏻
This was a great video, that part where you guys were sqautting in a circle pawing through the clay would have been hilarious if some random people came walking along and saw that >_
Something that will blow your mind, find ancient ocean shores or river beds. Dig down into the layers. Virgin untouched ground packed with life.
EPIC day!
Honestly, I'm not sure why the rest of you bother - just let Bri do all the hunting! She always scores the trophy of the day. :D
Seriously, that is a great spot and if that's what's just lying on the banks, I can't wait to see what some scuba action brings up. I'm going to be out there myself here during the holidays. Maybe I'll run into you guys!
I think that A10 warthog is guarding all the fossils for you guys
Great finds!
Love the shark tooth
1st time viewer and I absolutely have loved the videos I've seen so far especially your trip to Michigan, which is where I'm from and you have inspired me to get out there and explore.
I love hearing that! Thank you very much for watching the videos and leaving the nice comment. Part of my goal is to inspire people to get outside and explore, so that’s awesome.
missed you and captain
Bri
Crazy wild crew
Well you boys are fantastic love the gang back together but my sissy bree has got girl power you go girl
I so wish I could do fossil hunting like that 😊 congratulations on your finds, happy holidays and a merry new year to all of you x x🎉
I can walk lots of rivers an creeks an find the bare minimum. But these guys find everything dam thing!!!
Just was thinking about you kids when I saw that you were already here two days ago I cannot get over the incredible fines that you found just by walking along the shore like you said you’re gonna have to go diving in that area bring two boats because Derick and Chris are going to need extra space with all the tanks and everything you guys are gonna have a blast and find some incredible stuff in that spot I wouldn’t be surprised to find some Meg teeth
Man what amazing finds! That geode is nice 👍🏽 looks like what I find in Missouri inside that thing. Our ocean fossils here are a BIT older though.
Wow Nice 👍
It's about time the three of you got back to work entertaining me.
Cris and Bri, just wanted you to let know my wife Lisa and I really enjoy your videos. We wanted to know if you still do guided tours?
Dang I was just in Kentucky and got a geode and now I'm hooked i didn't even get to go look at any rivers.
11:28
*Have a BRRRT! BRRRRT! day sir.*
I think that A-10 Warthog was guarding the fossils for you to make sure no one else can grab them
Got to live a fossil video that also contains an A-10 Warthog.
Awesome finds. That crazy geode almost looks like a giant oyster-like shell. ?
Those holes in that rotted log are probably inch long wood beattles. They are shiny black and have large pincers on the front of their head. They make a noise when caught. Basically harmless, ha ha they were my friends when i was growing up, lol.
If you're out in the sticks, that rooster was dumped. I see it a lot around here. You find a group of roosters dumped on the side of the road.
Good jobs
My street actually has some round echinoids very similar to the oligocene ones y’all found towards the end of the video.
There’s a few different species/ ontogenetic stages (I don’t know much about echinoids) and they range in size from like a grain of sand to some of the medium sized ones you found.
It’s neat to see the natural exposures that I assume are similar to where the limestone in the road was collected.
I’ve also found some spines and I think part of a tiny crab just like the piece you found. Mine is just very small and still in matrix.
Always love your videos! Definitely looking forward to seeing what else you find after diving in those spots too!
brie: *finds a shark tooth *
kyle and chris: *start throwing up out of excitement (?) *
i just love watching you guys have fun together,
thanks for taking us along for your adventures!
We are finally moving from Long Island to Scranton Pa. One of the last things I packed in the pods was half off the mushroom shaped geode I got from you. It will be mated with its other half in about 2 weeks because the PODS crew is off for 3 days during the holidays so we won’t have anything until the 29th. My stepdaughter has the other half in Scranton.
The little pile of wood chips is probably from a Carpenter Bee
Such great finds! I was in Florida just a couple months ago to go fossil hunting, but never found anything good (I don't have a boat unfortunately) I must not be looking in the correct areas.
Watching you guys out there finding stuff still brings me a ton of joy though!
I found translucent crystalized oysters in Hawthorne.
I only know what cause that saw dust because I had some firewood in my house and I kept hearing noises coming from it. It ended up being a pretty decent size. Larva, that comes from a beetle. I can't remember the name of.
I'm guessing this is the Escambia River since an A-10 flew over. I wonder what kind of luck I'd have around the St. Johns or Oclawaha rivers. The Ocala Forest is ancient sand dunes so I wouldn't expect much in there except some tribal leavings.
All I ever found was conch shells, maybe an occasional Meg tooth
So many beautiful finds in this video. I hope you can scuba dive this area soon. I can imagine what you’ll find. Bring buckets. Lots and lots of buckets for your treasure. ✌🏻❤️🙂🙏
A little worried that Kyle was going to have an alligator hanging off his backside. Don't turn your back to the water!

Fossilized teets 😱😱
G'day Paleo Cris, I just gave you a follow
How do you all keep track of who found what?
I'm new here and I love your channel. I watched the episode where you found the kittycat. I'm a suckered for cats. Is he doing alright? Please, just a quick update on the cat you saved. Thank You
He’s still safe and we’re taking care of him! He has a home here with us now.
Oh Thank You for that information. You are both very good people for giving him a home. I know you named him already, but to me he looked like a 'Smokey'. I would have named him Smokey Quartz. But thank you and I wish you all luck. I will keep on watching.
What river are you guys going to? I live in florida and really want to go fossil hunting but not sure which river to go to.
In Oregon we have sanddollars everywhere however fossilized!???? That is so cool, my little sister moved to Florida couple years ago I have to get her to go grab me a fossil
