Does anyone think this expansion is as revolutionary for gameplay as Seasons was? When I think back to expansions, I feel like Seasons is definitely high up on the list for revolutionizing the game. Before I go and shell out the money on this pack--what do ya'll think replay value will be like?
I was thinking about having a tropical farm in sulani with coconut and bananas and chickens. Also I have plans to use the game play in other worlds too. I’m excited to see how the pack mixes with other packs.
i think it’ll be super replayable as many of the aspects can contribute to different stories/aspirations on their own. challenges, canning, the bb objects, cas, the crops, animals -it obviously depends on ur play style tho!

Theo and Trudy have alot to adjust to. I could see Theo embracing this life over time. But for Trudy it will either make or break her but the pregnancy will bring them all together.

Greta probably sold the animals and crops to pay the bills she could, but it wasn't quite enough, which is why she called on Theo.
Loving this series so far! I think it would make sense the farm isn't in great condition (no crops or animals) because after the loss of her husband, Greta may have begin to let the farm go and had to sell the animals to make ends meet. Can't wait to see where this series goes

As someone who was raised on a farm, I'm actually excited for this pack. It reminds me of all that my grandmother taught me-or even what my dad still teaches me. I haven't been this interested in a pack in a while.

i love this story! i like thinking that the couple also moved there to help the grandma plant because she’s getting older and it’s becoming harder for her to bend down and plant stuff!

Jenn, my mom and I love watching your channel. Literally my mom's favorite sim youtuber. I just wanted to let you know that you can claim beds, however it is under "assign right/left side for" for double beds rather than the single beds which just have claim.

The farm being bare kinda works because I imagine the crops failed and she sold off the stock because she couldn’t feed/afford them.
I feel Trudy. I'm in my second trimester, but I have no motivation or much energy. 😂 I'd love to have some llamas (or really alpacas) and chickens though.
Edit: Maybe Trudy will find a love of cross stitching? Something potentially relaxing for her and low energy to do during her pregnancy?
If you had planned to restart your foreman save entirely(with June and Pace) I can see them living on a farm like this.

This pack actually seems feature complete so far...
You could change the story a little bit. Instead of saying she almost lost the farm, the story could be that she had to start selling the animals and crops in order to save and keep the house from foreclosure and she reached out to Theo for help and now that hes around to help, they can start building up the farm again.

Maybe this is just my memory being bad, but I remember being able to claim beds back when I only had the basegame in 2016
If I am not misstaken they updated the claim bed option to the assign bed one with the Tiny Living release
a missed opportunity to name this little LP “City Living to Cottage Living” Also if this LP is able to transfer, i totally could see Trudy being a squeamish sim!

Honey the claim option for beds have been changed to “assign sim to…of the bed” so idk how long you have not been playing Sims 4 or you just didn’t realize that change but I hope you have an amazing day.
The amount of set up you do just shows investment and how much you love what you do

The Sims 4 Mulan Cottage Living.
I can see Trudy having tantrums and breakdowns living on the farm not only from her hormones but just because she’s use to the city life aka the “high life”
It’s when the sims have to put a subject to change because they know the actual pack is gonna be buggy as hell 😭😭😭
If you're doing it as realistic as possible, A flock of chickens only has one rooster, otherwise the roosters will start fighting over the hens. Just so you know hahahah
In a large flock, there is often more than one rooster, with no problems.
The new crop patches are low key giving me trypophobia vibes. Maybe it’s just me, but it literally makes me go 😖. Love this pack though. It’s so beautiful and the concept is one of my favorite of all

Yep, it’s almost always [æ.ɾɪk] in American English because of intervocalic flapping. I’m not sure why Jenn thinks she’s weird for pronouncing it like that.

You claim the bed by assigning a specific side to a sim
I feel Trudy is going to get frustrated and separated from Theo just as she hits her 2nd or 3rd trimester. She’s hormonal, the bugs and animals are pesticides to her, and over all she is just not about that life. She feels the cottage is just not the ideal home for her and her baby. During the separation he adapts to the farm life and she gives birth. Theo’s loving grandmother convinces Trudy to bring the baby back so they all can help raise the him/her. Hopefully doesn’t like….you know….fall for the neighbor that moved in while Trudy’s gone.
