I poured about 120 weights (sinkers) this past summer. Usually do it outside where I don't have to worry to much about the fumes. I normally pour egg, bank and pyramid sinkers. I use any type of lead that I can find. Made lots from old wheel weights. Years ago you could find old window weights but I haven't seen any in a long time! That was a good trick to get the impurities out of the lead.
Used the air compressor the other day, worked like a charm!! Thank again!!

Hey Johnny, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that pours their own sinkers! Getting scrap lead has been harder and harder to find. I'm glad you like the compressor. Thank for watching the videos my friend!

Candle soot works great on molds for release

Got to lowes get a 2” stainless steel cap for fence posts and use that for your bait cannon perfect fit with about 7oz. I use old treble hooks to imbed the connection point

The casting sticking to the mold can be cured by making a flux pellet run with something like dollar store crayons! It's what I do to season my mold for ingots and weights
