I found out I had a bicornuate uterus after having to have a C-section with my daughter because it was my due date, I wasn’t contracting properly per my doctor, and my cervix was swelling. I knew all through my pregnancy something didn’t feel normal. My daughter was crammed on one side of my stomach the entire pregnancy. I was lopsided lol. My doctor never listened to me. I felt like she disregarded my concerns and didn’t take me serious because at the time I was only 19 years old.. Once I was admitted to be induced and they started noticing all these issues, they took me in for a C-section. Then once they delivered my daughter I started hemorrhaging because my uterus actually didn’t contract at all. My blood pressure dropped super low and I passed out. I ended up having to have a blood transfusion because I lost more than half of my blood count. I don’t remember getting to see my babygirl for the first time. Nothing. Very traumatic at only 19. BUT with that being said, for my son I had a new doctor who listened to me and monitored me thoroughly, I had an easy C-section. And I remember everything. Healthy deliveries can happen with bicornuate uteruses as long as you have a doctor that listens and cares!
I found you through your kitchen organization video and happen to see this one. I also have a bicornuate uterus just like yours. I found out 16 yrs ago with my first pregnancy with my twins. I miscarried with them at 14 weeks. I've since had 2 kids who are 15 and 13. Both decided that they wanted to stay head up butt down and got stuck. I had c-section with both. My son was born at 33 weeks and my daughter was at 36weeks. Ill pray for you to go full term and that your pregnancy goes smoothly.

@@StylesByMissAle not at all. With my son I stood up to go and get food for everyone and my water broke. Like the movies broke lol and with my daughter I was asleep and felt like a peed but it was my water breaking. Both days I had been overly busy though, lots of running around. Hope she stays in as long as possible!
Note taken: take it easy lol to try and keep her inside longer.

Thankyou for sharing... I also have recently found out , that i have a bicornuate uterus. Although i have one question, is it possible for a bicornuate uterus lady to be pregnant and get her periods at the same time, due to the deep indentation in between.

I have a bicornuate uterus, had two miscarriages, one is at 7 weeks, another at 16 weeks. But I only know I have BU the second time pregnancy. Now I m scared to get pregnant.

I have the same ❤️ shape + a deviated septum. Meaning, my uterus is blocked off down the middle. We did not find this out until after my c section operation!
Our baby boy is healthy and strong and a reminder every day that we all experience things differently in life but we all will end up in the end with amazing stories to be grateful to tell! My birth story, long story short- sounds terrifying when I say it out loud, but when I think about the whole experience, I couldn’t imagine the story going any different way. Our bodies are stronger than our minds can comprehend. All I can share with you is to remain ☝️hopeful☝️optimistic ☝️focus on staying healthy ☝️ask questions about anything ☝️it’s okay to admit when it’s hard ☝️when you feel fear, close your eyes and picture a beautiful moment you look forward to spending with your baby ☝️for the hospital- take your favorite blanket and ask your significant other go get new toiletries etc. at the store. *packing hospital bags are overrated... you have a baby and your health to focus on. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thank you for sharing! It’s amazing how they didn’t tell you anything until the c section😱 but at least the uterus shape was not a concern throughout your pregnancy and now you have your beautiful little boy! And you’re totally right out bodies are strong and capable 🙌🏻☺️
I have a bicornuate as well found out that when I got pregnant and started to bleed ended in the miscarriage. I hold my baby to 14 weeks but the tech told me about it, Dr. Never said to much about it besides what you said. I think they need to make an awareness and learn about our bodies. The tech told me they had 12 different uterus . Who knew? That was 9 years ago. Prayers for you and your family. Prayers for my miracle baby 🌈 rainbow baby. my Angelbaby 5/7/2013.

I been there too i had a miscarriage twice the ob gyne identified tgat i was also same case with you ☹️ still now i dont if i will went through the surgery or still praying hoping for the chance to have a baby without undeegone a surgery dont know what to do :(

Ive had 5 miscarriages, and no kids. I have a bicornuate uterus. An ultrasound tech pointed it out but I haven't been diagnosed officially. I have a preliminary phone consultation with the infertility dr. I've been doing some research and I don't know if I qualify for the surgery, or if I even want it. I'm scared something wouldn't heal right and if for sure not be able to have babies. But I'm so scared to try again the way it is bc it kills me every time I lose a baby. Thanks for talking about it. Im still scared, but at least i dont feel so alone.

I have BU and i fell severe pain 15 days before my period. Is anyone with BU faces the same problem?
I used to have major period cramps during my period only, now that I gave birth I don’t have cramps but my flow is much heavier the first 2 days

Hello! Whoah i had not heard about that one. My baby was born healthy thank god. From what I know I don’t think the size of our uterus can cause a birth defect but definitely speak with your dr.

Hello, I ate all the same food just not fish or raw eggs. I also did not have caffeine. Just the basic stuff pregnant women shouldnt eat.

Hello, my baby would move frequently in the morning and a little less at night since she got used to my routine. I always felt her only in my right side as that is where she implanted.

My baby too is only able move in right side. Although the movement only feels like going up and down and lil less kicks and hand movements.I’m in my 33 week and still in breech position.

I just went for first ultrasound the other day and they discovered I have a BU and then proceeded to tell me it causes little to no complications and is low risk etc "just" that it has a chance of premature birth only for me to do my own research into it and how high risk it can be and complications that may come with it
I was so scared of premature birth but my baby made it to 39 weeks 4 days.

Hello, my dr did not suggest the surgery for me. I natrually got pregnant after my miscarriage and I went up to 39 weeks pregnant.
