You recommended as step 1 Under File > Properties > Resample mode: And as recommended you change to "disable re-sample" but as Step 2 you recommended to right click > Properties> Video Event> change to disable resample. My question is. Currently it is set to by default at use project Resample Mode. So assuming we've followed your Step 1 should all the clips be disable re-sampled? Thanks for clarifying and your time. if you want to zoom a certain part of your video you can just cut out at the start and end of where you want to zoom and zoom it then, if that makes any sense
I desperately need to know... how to I get Vegas 11 to open with the 2 windows as you show. I did something funky and now every time i open vegas there is only one window. i can see the video preview OR the function/effect window but not both together. So, to do a simple video effect tweak i have to keep toGgling between the effect tab and video tab. My Vegas 11 has NO WINDOW OPTION IN THE VIEW TAB. I see the later vegas versions, to do this, you just go to VIEW tab and select WINDOW. but my vegas has no WINDOW option IN THE VIEW TAB. I see no way to put them together on same screen. In other words i lost my separate "always on" video preview window, because it dissappears every time i click on any video fx tab. anyone out there know how to bring my double view back? thanks, world!
here's how to fix: save, and close vegas. then while holding control + shift, restart vegas. it asks if you want to reset to orig. configuration. say yes. then program opens with 2 view boxes.

I still need to figure out how to adjust the color of the fade in and fade outs for transitions between seperate video clips (the little draggy bit you showed) AND my like/share/sub graphic isn't compatible for some reason so I need to figure that out too. But at least it got me going again. Thanks!
