Fast forward, last month marked our 5-year friendship anniversary, and I had the honor of being the best man at his wedding.
That’s a great story. Sometimes people just need to know that they aren’t alone and are seen. I always say “no man is an island” God didn’t make us to be alone, we need each other because we’re social beings. That was God showing up for him by using you that day. 🙏🏾

So i went along with it and said " Oh yeah, I know how that happens. Well can I pray for you anyway?" He said ok and I did. Several months later, he saw me in a market and said, "I remember you!" Then he called a lady over and continued, "Hon, this is the lady I was telling you that came and prayed for me when I was crying." Then he told me how he was really hurting that day and that he would never forget what I did. He looked totally different, like a broken man who had been made whole. The best part was that he and his wife were having a baby! I thank God to be so blessed to see his life changed for the better. God tells us to love they neighbor for a reason. We just never know what God can do thru us.

A week after my 7 week old son passed away I decided to go on a walk, half way through I broke down crying and just sat on the sidewalk. A random man pulled over, asked if I was okay and when I told him what was wrong he got out and gave me a very comforting tight hug. I was able to finish my walk thanks to that man.
