@@sunilshah0 we get it you're salty india didn't win against australia in those days. Do you want some of their sandpaper to wipe the salt of your ass?
Toxic culture and behaviour of Australian Cricket team in full exposure here. The long legacy of hypocrisy and self-justification still remains in their cricket today, an unfortunate permanent blemish on the sport.
Granny Horror Game It’s sad that all the England players ball tampered during the ‘05 Ashes series yet nobody gives a rats arse about that. It’s only when Australia does it.
WINGO the technology didn’t suggest anything indicating there was an inside edge, nor did the umpires, blower and even the slip fielders heard anything, only the wicket keeper heard something and decided to review that. The slip fielder had his hands on his head indicating that it’s close but it’s nothing. There was absolutely no need to argue the umpires that there was a nick or anything, but then again, that’s just the nature of the Australian team, always trying to cheat their way out. Take for example Justin Langer, in a test against Pakistan, he refused to walk even after he had a huge edge, of course the umpire didn’t give him out, but he just stood there even after he nicked it and pretended as if he didn’t, knowing to himself that he absolutely smashed that edge onto the wicket keeper. But like I said, it’s the nature of the Australian team, absolutely no sportsmanship whatsoever, with the exception of Adam Gilchrist. He’s one man that I respect a lot, whenever he has an edge and he’s caught he walks, he doesn’t wait for the umpires, and that can be seen from a lot of other players from the different teams, but not from the rest of the Australian team.
Ponting maybe one the best batsman Australia has ever produced but this behavior and several other ones have fans question his integrity and question us as to who does he thinks he is? Umpire Dar gave him not out...HOT SPOT gave him not out...what else does his Highness need? Haddin has been a co-conspirator in many other situations with his sledging an foul mouth. With the talent Aussies have this is totally unnecessary!
@@horrorstory9321Guess whose pans are talking from the team Who discovered 0 by their greatest achievement in cricket 😂 won't Have Levels to talk about Teams Who won trophies
Ponting had to reestablish his captaincy by setting an example to the younger members of the team. This was at a time when Ponting's captaincy was under scrutiny because he couldn't lead a "newer/younger" Australian team to the same wins they got in the late 90's. I can see Siddle was sucking up to the captain to get on his good side and get picked for the team
Ponting took this team to South Africa and won 2-1. He beat England 6-1, India 4-2 in ODI's and won the Champions Trophy 2009. Seriously man, get your head out of your ass.
"The Umpire" is a Legend. Good decision. I have seen so many times in this Ashes series that ponting went for refferals abd was turn'd down. Aleem Dar has won two ICC umpire of the year awards. Ricky needs to realize it, he didnt win it for nothing.
What if some of the Asian team captains would have argued with umpires like ponting did? Was not this intimidating umpires? There would have been disciplinary actions by match referee with match fee penalties with 1 or 2 test match ban.
Some people are just obsessed with success and they think whatever they think is right all the way. Ricky Pointing is one of those fellows. He is an absolute nightmare when it comes to behaviour with umpires. One of the worst cricketers in terms of behaviour putting Virat Kohli any few others in the list.
If any sub-continental player (even Sachin) has done this, they would have been suspended for a couple of games. And this was against a sub-continental umpire, so it is okay for Ponting to behave like this. Ponting has always been showing inherent bias against sub continent.
"Ponting eventually going to his position, talking to Pieterson, and uh asking the batsmen who says i just got a faint inside edge." haha brilliant commentary.
I always liked Ricky as a batsman. I remember this got a lot of media attention. However, I think it actual commentators, Tony Grieg and I think Mark Taylor go really easy on Ponting and don't criticise him at all. I think an opposition captain would have received far more criticism.
@MENSFORTHHILL99 Buddy, m an Indian.. thrilled to see my team lift the WC and be No.1 in tests since 2009, after seeing Sachin fight lone battle in the embarassing losses of 90s and 2000s.. But the Aussie team of 1995-2007 had an Aura of Genius and Supremacy.. M sad to see it loose it so quickly. Never imagined that Aus will loose Home Ashes wit 3 innings defeats. Just hope that my team doesnt nose-dive after Laxman-Dravid retire.. As far as Sachin goes, May GOD bless us forever.. :-)
Note that after the ball is pitched @5:35, on a good length, it rises off the pitch with the seam upright. The position of the seam doesn't change after it passes the bat = no nick and not out....just another piece of evidence that I think has been overlooked. However, the umpire's decision is final. Ponting you are a disgrace to us Aussies!
