    Cleaning it was probably the worst thing you could’ve done to it. Now it’s just a ring with no back story. Modern glue and for what? I’m 😢

      Are you familiar with inlay jewelry? The original jeweler used epoxy; that’s how inlays are done. If the stones were not removed and re-set, all of the stones would have eventually fallen out within a year. All of the original silver and other original stones are were not tampered with to leave their true story. I hope that clarifies the process!

      It still has the history, just not the mold 😂 cleaning will help preserve it.

      Exactly this! It’s about honoring the initial artist, but making a piece able to be worn and cherished-which is the whole point of jewelry 😊

      It literally had cardboard in it… what are you talking about? That ring was crumbling away
