I love this no commentary playthrough very much, despite you not speaking you gave Stanley's character so much life with how you moved around, it was very enjoyable.
@Lucas Gawor incase someone wants to jump to a specif ending, or if ur like me and want to track which ending its on/where weird endings actually like end
"he gathered his Witts, and went to leave the office." *Doesn't leave the office* "Stanley, very clearly confused at where the door is, got help out of the office." *Gets teleported infront of the door* *Doesn't move* "Stanley, was very very stupid."
I love the little camera movements you added to this, shaking your head or nodding at the right moments, looking at things pointedly, letting the camera freak out a bit when the two buckets exploded each other. It really adds a lot, made me laugh more than once.
Anyone else love the scenes in the Memory Zone and the Skip Button Room? I feel it's relatable in terms of things that can personally affect creators' artistic decisions - fan-service, desire to please everyone, insecurity triggered by negative and (often times) toxic comments from audiences, expectations, dedication to preserving what people feel made a creation so special to begin with, etc. The narrator's crisis shows how such obsession can spiral out of control. He ironically ended up becoming the type of person he accused the game's developers of being.
Indeed. And because of the fatal fault in the Skip button, he was forced to be without Stanley for increasingly long periods of time, up until he fell into a madness mantra.
3:36:07 hahaha why was the little "i win! i win! i win, i win, i win!" from the narrator (especially with stanley bouncing around as he said it) so cute?
1:03:12 - they are so artistic with their level design. Talking about Stanley Parable 2 and (Two chairs in every hallway, two water coolers, two posters.) Everything in that whole scene is in sets of two.
it's so funny hearing the narrator saying "Twitter", "Skyrim" and "Persona 3". I honestly wonder if the voice of the narrator even know what those games are in the first place.
The Stanley Parable Reassurance Bucket sounds like the Aperture Science Weighted Companion Cube, which is also not supposed to speak. I love how this game reminds me of Portal 2. Bucket = Companion Cube.
The thing about this game that I weirdly love the most is the fact that the 'swiff' kinda sound from pants legs rubbing together from walking is audible but not super loud, plus there's a bit of bounce to the bucket when it becomes present but it isn't an exaggerated side to side bounce. It's realistic in stuff like that
The stanley parable reminds me of a Dungeon and dragons game. But the characters get side tracked alot and the DM slowly gets annoyed Update:thank you all for the likes. This is my highest liked comment ever. It makes me happy
Yes, and sometimes the DM gets sidetracked too. Then again, who is the DM? Maybe the narrorator is merely a character in the story and the story is non-linear, after all, the end is never the end is never the end is never the end is...
I’m sure it’s already been said, but I think the bucket really is genius. How many sequels out there give you a new shiny idea or mechanic or weapon and slap it on top of what is essentially the same thing as the original?
It’s brilliant. My favorite thing about the bucket from a meta perspective is the fact that, as a reassurance bucket, it really does take away the “existential dread” on the paths that were in the normal endings. Not that I didn’t love those endings, but I think it’s just great how utterly absurd and wacky the bucket endings were, and how the narrator felt more like an ally than an antagonist. It truly did live up to its name as a reassurance bucket. Sometimes a bit too well…

For me, as I am a person who LOVES listening to people, one of the saddest endings is "the Memory Zone". Dear Narrator, I will listen to you rumbling and rumbling non-stop for years, with your voice, please, be happy :(
Spoiler on this one, but at 3:25:52 - ... One of the buttons there actually says "Stanley" when you press it instead of Jim. Which was probably the only thing in the game that 'surprised' me because I was expecting that to be the gag when you first hit the button when it was first introduced. Comedic timing indeed.

That line's from the original, original Stanley Parable. Awesome.
It's a good gag for both who know and don't know the original mod.
The first ending to the DLC was very scary, creepy, and overall sad. I felt guilty every time I pushed the skip button.
It is funny too. The amount of talking you skip when you push the button is huge ..
@@jinartamusic6734 lucky for me I adore the man's voice and could listen to it for hours. Kinda like Burl Ives or David Attenborough.

it might of been a mod i saw but i think there is a way to get a portal gun
the stanley parable is to gays as portal is to lesbians, so yes the bucket and cube are two sides of the coin
