That's good to hear! I suspect a large table or a kitchen counter would serve as a nice platform 😋...lol, this reminds me of a recent tik Tok video where people were doing this sort of thing but with nachos
Taking out the food is a wonderful idea. Thus one doesn't need overwhelming and overstraining the organism's stamina! And, of course, I liked the Ube icecream a lot, when staying for some time in Manila. Halo - halo, alas, don't remember very well... Tim, Thank You very much for this various Phillipines culinary tour! And what can be more lovely, when it is being conducted over the lands of the serene British Columbia... Victoria and Vancouver of tranquility!!! The root to escape from the insanely mundane hustle and bustle of the rest of the world... Thank You so much, Tim🌹🌺🌷
So we'll written as usual Petr! 🙂 The Philippines was quite an amazing place to visit! Yeah... even with taking out the food, it was still a challenge... though a pleasant one😉
@@TimLeeLetsGo And the most amazing and beautiful post office I ever visited in my life was in Manila. Very very elegant architecture of the end of 1940s - 1950s. And the soda drinks and snacks there were unparalleled, the best in Manila in terms of prices!!! Incredible! Actually, the food and drinks of the post offices of the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates is a very special marvelous theme in itself! In UAE You get so genteel flavorful cardomon coffee with figs for free!!! Just serve Yourself! Or the tea, with sugar, or without! It is such a welcoming friendly postal environment!!!🙃 I was unbelievably happy, that I came there to mail my post cards!🏋️♂️ And the post offices in India?.. I remember one in Mumbai. But the victuals were nearby and not at the premises. Also the post office in Goa... But they were not so romantic and beckoning as the post offices of UAE and of Manila...
@@petrfrizen6078 I never knew that post offices can be such an amazing places! I've been to Bangalore and Manila, but have never visited the post office... Hopefully next time 🙂

Thanks Valerie, it was quite a feast and I'm still enjoying the leftovers at the moment... hello Tim, oh oh!!!, sorry for the damage of your car !!! Just think the car insurance should pay for the repair.... Again, wishing you all the best on your way.... thanks again for sharing, Tim. Love.
Thank you Jade...no worries on the car🙂. The food was a nice distraction 😋
New sub here man loving this! Can’t wait to be in the Philippines 🇵🇭 either this year if possible or next year for sure!!
You are living the dream! As someone who grew up in Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦 left in 2000 to Maryland USA 🇺🇸!
Nice to meet you! Thank you so much for reaching out and yeah...would be nice to visit the Philippines 🙂. Nice to hear from someone who was local🙂
I love Filipino food
Just enjoy life
Oh, I would love to see what a boodle fight is in the Philippines
A must go place, will bring Katie and Phil and my friends.
Hope you enjoy Evelyn 😋
Very kind person. I really liked your vlog. Keep it up
You can also do the boodle fight @ home with the fambam. You can do pretty much anything you wanna put on the table.Make sure you have the steam rice in the middle of the table as a base.Sorry to hear about the damage on your car.🤙🏼
That's good to hear! I suspect a large table or a kitchen counter would serve as a nice platform 😋...lol, this reminds me of a recent tik Tok video where people were doing this sort of thing but with nachos
You r Sooo Sweet n Positive!
Karma to that bad person..sorry
Love ya..Blessings ❤
Hi Shelly, hope you're doing well and thank you so much for the kind comment. No worries at all...just a car. Wish you all the best!
@@TimLeeLetsGo If only all our challenges in life were like that 🙃
@@TimLeeLetsGo For me Phillipines is also a very personally important geographic locus, because my Jewish Name, Pinkhas, was bestowed on me in Manila.
Hopefully next time 🙂
So happy to see Filipino food!🇵🇭
Really enjoying the Filipino cuisine, Myra! You know, those take out containers.. they didn't last very long 😉😋
Thank you for treating the audience to another weekly video, finishes my weekend quite nicely. The food looks awesome, never seen the pancakes and dessert before, so good. Sorry about your car :( Everyone start a gofund me page so Tim can fix his car! haha
Thanks again Kosan, those pancakes where so good😋.. first time trying ube pancakes, and it certainly didn't disappoint 😃
Tim....I'm very sorry to know your car was damaged. I think it's mean that the insurance company will not pay for it to be repaired.
As you said though. .cars CAN be replaced.
And as always, it is delightful to see you.
You always have the best gastronomic adventures...and it's wonderful that you bring us along😆
Thank you for sharing the feast again!
Always love the variety. Go grand eh?
You're always so positive. Just stay the way you are and be safe.
Thanks Valerie, it was quite a feast and I'm still enjoying the leftovers at the moment... Yeah, unfortunately the car was a bit old and the repair costs would have been more than the value of the car. I included that in the video more for the irony of parking in a faraway spot to avoid getting the doors dinged 🤦🏻♂️😉
That was a little bit too much food, but very enjoyable. I think the folks in the kitchen overdid it a bit for the camera... Not that I'm complaining here 🙂
Very fathomed verbal depiction of the peanut sauce! Do continue watching it 🐳
HELLO TIM LEE
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
So sorry about your vehicle, Tim. You are right that it can be replaced. Cheers!
Oh my gosh Tim! So sorry about the car! That is a lot of damage. Person must have been nuts. That is no door ding!! That is craziness! Glad you are ok!
Thank you Kelly, and certainly no worries about the car 🙂.

That was certainly an enjoyable crunch 😋. Thank you again Bonnie 😃
You may be sitting alone but you have many virtual friends with you ahha
Bummer about your car! But wow, the Ube Pancakes alone must’ve lightened your mood for the day...and that table spread for the week!
Ohhh... I must say those ube pancakes were on par with the rest of the feast 😋
Dear Tim, from my personal lovely serene Phillipines experience I can be making the following statement: the ube pancakes can never be a bad idea! Never!!!
Agreed 😋
@@TimLeeLetsGo 🍍
Pour hot water over damaged area and use some kind of suking to pull it back out. U wouldn't even know u had the damage there. Try it and good luck
Tim, sorry about your car but I am amazed at how calm you are. I think those dents can be taken out, hopefully not too expensive.
Thanks Donnie 🙂. No worries with respect to the car🙂
Looking forward to seeing this video and the food, hopefully it will be good.. Enjoy your meal, be blessed and safe and careful..
Thank you so much Felicia 😃... It was my first time having a Filipino feast and really enjoyed it... And it is continuing with all the leftovers 😃
So sorry to hear about your car. Glad you’re safe though. Hope you get some money back from the person who damaged it. Don’t let it get you down. From Stef and Ross in Scotland 🏴.
Hi Stefanie, thank you and no worries about the car🙂. Warmest greetings to you and Ross from Canada😃
I love watermelon....a watermelon margarita? I’m in heaven
That pancake was indeed a bad idea...but glad you took the leftovers home! Simple recipe...just combine all leftover and make friend rice out of it
As a Filipino-American in Central Ohio; there is nothing close to the restaurant that you went to, Tim. Great episode. I’m incredibly hungry for Filipino food now.😆
Thanks Dougie! Really enjoying the Filipino cuisine, and certainly fortunate that there is a large community here. Those ube pancakes were on par with the boodle fight 😋
Tim, you took so well with the car. Most people would have been pissed. Way to handle that. The foods looked amazing. It's making me hungry.
Hi samhean1, no worries about the car at all 🙂. the food was a nice distraction, and I was actually a bit intimidated...I think because I was filming, the people in the kitchen overdid it a bit with the food, but certainly no complaints here 😋
Wow what a feast. Made me full just looking at lt, lol. That deep fried pork looked great. Thanks for a great video.
Thank you so much again Karen... I can still remember the crunch 😋
Sorry about your car I hope you got it fixed. The Filipino feast looked great. I’ve always wanted to know how it was and the names of the dishes. Thank you for doing a video on it.

Sorry about your car Tim. Ok I have to say I'm impressed with how you managed all that food. After I eat a bowl of rice with kare kare I'm in a food coma! But everything looks good! Thanks for sharing your food journey!

Thanks so much Tanya! Really enjoying getting out to visit these places and making these videos 😃. Thank you so much again!
I never been to a Filipino restraint here in Vancouver and this place looks awesome how much was that platter Tim ? I plan on going there soon my fellow Vancouverite peace and hope to see you around town 😀
Thanks Ron. Quite happy that we're still able to go out to eat.. and hope you get a chance to do the same as long as you're safe. It was a lot of food, and I think the restaurant may have overdided a bit because I was filming. It's about $40 per person... And what was shown in the video was a meal for two. Take care and all the best to you🙂
Tim I'm so sorry about your car. People can do mean. Your meal looked amazing❤
Thanks Daria, no worries about the car at all 🙂
love to join u on ur next food adventure my fellow vancouverite
Thank you so much for your kind comment. LoL, I must say, the actual filming is a very different experience than what it shows in the videos. 😃. Sometimes a 10 min video is in reality a 4hr outing 😆
