ABOUT ME
I've started a RUclips channel exploring food in Vancouver and hopefully around the globe. Let us take you on an adventure to find some of the best eats all around!
My name is Stephan and I am based in Vancouver, BC, Canada... I was born in France but then moved to Canada very young. Growing up as a kid, I developed a strong passion for food through the aromas of my Italian, French and Canadian family kitchen. As I grew up, I had the privilege to be able to travel to many places which further cemented my inspiration and passion for food around the world!

Thanks for the support everyone!!! Due to the popularity of this video, we are working on ANOTHER Filipino food video 😁🇵🇭 Stay tuned!!
looking forward to that. ^_^
Actually, ice cream sandwich is kinda common. Bread is an alternative for waffle cone. It's a Filipino Hack.
use spoon when eating the next time PLEASE.
You should visit Philippines you are most welcome..
🤩🥰❤
actually filipino ice cream carts have a bread called "monay" more like a dinner roll.. and stuffed the monay with ice cream.. now that is our childhood snack..
I gasped when you tried the pork intestines and pig ears because people who are not familiar with the Filipino cuisine tend to be intimidated by those types of foods. I’m Filipino-Canadian and I’m amazed with your open-mindedness to trying foods other than Filipino pork bbq and pancit 😂 You’ve earned my respect!
Lol thanks!! Those are some of the most delicious parts. Being French maybe helps too 😂 we also eat everything!
It’s amazing how pinoy foods are all over the world 🌎 now! Watched from IRELAND 🇮🇪
Simply astounding Filipino food, thank you for your review and appreciation.. Mabuhay!
Dude you really sounded like a pro describing the food. Glad your enjoying our cuisine as a French Canadian. Hats off to you, Salute!
Wow the food looks so good, those are legit Filipino cuisine, no added fusion bs haha and I like how you ate it all correctly, using the calamansi, the dipping sauces and eating with rice
Is it just me? Whenever I see a food review and sisig is being served. My head screams "mix it! Mix it" i feel like I want to go in and mix it myself 🤣🤣🤣
When I worked in Manhattan in NY before, I asked one colleague if he wanted to try a newly opened Filipino restaurant. I was surprised to see 12 of them joining me and the boss getting mad later when we came back because hardly anyone was at the office. I didn't expect Filipino food would make them excited to come with me. :-)
What was their reaction after trying our food?
@@karlgeli9285 They liked it, but one Taiwanese girl I rely on for an honest assessment said our food was too salty.
@@denniszenanywhere It's a bit salty because it's meant to be eaten with rice...also salt prevents food from spoiling quickly in the tropical heat...
@@marowediva I think the Taiwanese girl was also aware of that, why it's salty and the weather, having similar conditions with Taiwan.
You're having a feast all by yourself and i'm so jealous😲
Lol my cameraman maybe gets a few bites 😉
You know stephan, thats how Filipino eats, i love this guy. 😀😀😀😀😀😀
MY MY MY THAT SOUND WHILE EATING! MUNCHING, MUSHIE,CRACKLING,,SALIVATING
Man the way you eat those food is like how we eat here in philippines especialy the bread and ice cream.
that crispy pata looks so good, they cook it perfectly
Wow... That crispy pata is legit. You can really tell that it's crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. Mouthwatering it is.
You are so fun to watch to the point where I'd share the last piece of my favorite desert with you 😉❤️
Thanks for liking Filipino foods 👍🏼🙏🙏
The palabok, crispy pata and chicken looks delicious and I can almost taste them from here. These are all the favorite filipino food I want. I'm craving for them
the food was so good his hands were shaking 😂
Sisig was one of Anthony Bourdain’s favorites. It has become a very popular Filipino dish and rightfully so! It is truly delicious and a must try for everyone. Calories galore but truly worth it.
Anthony Bourdain 🥺 a true inspiration to us all
I absolutely admire your genuine interest and organic reaction to Filipino dishes featured in this blog. I commend you going ham filling up ube pandesal with vanilla ice cream - in fact we do stuff pandesal with Ice cream in lieau of ice cream cones - pure nostalgia 👍👍👍
Thank you! Video's so popular now Im working on a part 2 lol
ice cream in bread yeah it's street food back in the Philippines.! vendors of ice-cream in push carts offer them a choice between cone or bread (pandesal)
Yes!! Ive seen the videos! Def wanna visit one day!
it is a recent invention. That is not necessarily culture. Only the poorest of the poor would eat it with a bread.
@@eduardochavacano Well, many of us do it, and i can considered myself and my neighbors as a well upper middle class peoples who live in private subdivisions here in Lucena City, Quezon Province, Philippines. And its already a norms here since 1960s told by my Parents and Grandparents.
Romeo Civilino I am slightly exaggerating. My point is, so much has been promoted as Cultural when it is not! The only culture you see in the Ice Cream on Bun is the Culture of Poverty and Corruption. The Philippines can not change or progress, if people will chose to celebrate their Poverty or Culture of Poverty. The middle is largely to blame. It is the middle class who can have access to RUclips. While eating Ice Cream on a bun is not totally repulsive. It is revolting to see every Pinoy Baiting vlogger rave about something is actually Fake.
did sederapa say its a culture thing? he just remember ice cream vendors in Philippines (dirty ice creams) offering cone or bread (not pandesal it’s monay). dont be cry baby, just chill and watch Eduardo.
I clicked because of the palabok in the thumbnail. I loooooooove pancit palabok!
pandesal ice cream sandwich is really a thing in the Philippines, I loved doing that when I was little
This makes me wanna try filipino food! Damn, those look so gooood!
Everytime YT suggested a Channel that foreigners eating Philippine foods I Always click subscribe 😂 which I Love it 😻
We are so proud for our food you bieng tried man thank you so much you been really like it....the ginataang kalabasa the coconut milk made it sweet...god blissed you...more filipino food and other virsion of our food...
Man, my mouth literally watered with saliva when I saw this video...I am glad you are enjoying Filipino food! The ones you tasted snd sampled are all my favorites, too! Happy eating Bro!
O yeah thats our finest food Filipinos. We are so proud.
The music background was my favorite song “especially for you” by MYMP that’s classic dude! ❤️❣️💕 Filipino foods were the best when a whole family shared it. Banana leaves add flavors and aroma to the food 🥰 say “sarap” when you like the food- it means “delicious”!!! 👍🏼
we always like our food wherever we go. thanks for sharing your recipes keep in tune dear
For Pinoys in Vancouver. Please try their food. I know the family that owns the place. Really good people
Glad you love filipino foods. I am spanish filipino from california. Hello!!!
Not sure what other filipino foods you have tried but there is so much more to try. For soups, try tinola, sinigang and bulalo. For chicken, try adobo of course, afritada, relyeno. For pork, try lechon kawali, bicol express or binagoongan. For beef, try menudo, bifstek kaldereta and kare kare oxtail. For desserts, try leche flan, ginataan and brasso de mercedes. You enjoy filipino food so much that you figured out the ice cream pandesal. They sell that in the philippines
Of course there’s a lot of fil food but don’t push him to try everything.
Wow this dude just invented a new combo of food! The garlic bread cheese + the cocomilk pumpkin soup and garlic bread cheese + the crispy pata!!!
Best combo in the world!
I enjoyed watching you enjoying eating our Filipino food, making me hungry 😋. Show more Filipino restaurant in Canada 🇨🇦
omg.. that ice cream inside pandesal.. nostalgic
Omg that crispy pata and inihaw na pusit are to die for. U are soooo fun to watch making up your own combos! 😆
Dude! You've eaten more and better Filipino food than I am and I'm Filipino. I'm jealous!
U know how to eat ur Filipino food well.
When i was 4 years old,. I look the map of philippines and something whisper on me that Palawan beaches and foods will be the most famous around the world.
Crispy Pata is best paired with rice. My mouth is watering as I watched your video. Thank you for patronizing Filipino food products
Ice cream sandwiches are also sold in the Philippines. The way did it but with a local kind of brioche like bread, not pandesal. It is a popular street snack sold by local "sorbeteros" or ice cream vendors.
Filipino has a huge power in social media. By the way I really love and enjoy the video.
That "vanilla ice-cream ube pandesal sandwich" is a Filipino thing. Thats Yumm!
That is not a Filipino thing!!! These lies, lies, and more lies make Intelligent Foreigners dont admire Filipino cuisines. Too much bull shitting by very Insecure Filipinos who are very Ignorant about Filipino cuisine. Those who say Ube Pan de Sal or ice cream on Bread is Filipino Food, these are people who cant afford good food and have only eaten Tapsilog their entire lives.
@@eduardochavacano What are you saying is an contradictory , whether it is food originally consumed by Poor or Dishes by the Upper Class as long it is consumed here in the Philippines for decades, we can say that its a Filipino Food. Don't put Filipino Food in your limited views and shove like everything in a box context.
Romeo Civilino You dont even know what an oxymoron is.
Hahaha you figured out quickly the bread and ice cream combo. Truly filipino!
the food you ate for today is really great.. i am glad you like it so much i feel like i am hungry during the time that im watching you eat filipino foods.. Thank you for trying filipino dishes, i suggest you try more like Pork sinigang, Kare-Kare, Pork Dinuguan ang other authentic filipino dishes that you haven't tried before I'm sure you would really like it also... Enjoy your meal and have a blessed day ahead... New Friend from the Philippines here :)
