I don't know but Mike your trips always look very relaxing with slow pace and let us feel relaxed! I'm so happy that even when you're in bad situations, you were still willing to record videos for us. Thank you so much, Mike!!
I admire u that u always travel in the world and different cultures and foods etc! keep up! make sure u film every where u go anywhere anything any place. and be happy!
Kind of refreshing to see a mall that's actually vibrant and alive. I've been watching a lot of Dan bells dead mall series and it's fascinating and slightly sad. Little surreal as well.
In my opinion, Canadians are nice in a way where they are more likely to give you directions and help out someone but Americans are friendly where they would easily start chatting a stranger up. Just from my own experience!
It's beautiful. Like walking through a painting. Rolls and rolls of different tulips. There's two main locations that's an hour drive north of Seattle. Tulip town and Rosengarden.
I went to Vancouver a few years ago and it was beautiful and the people are so friendly and helpful. A lot of people say that Canadians are very similar to Kiwis (New Zealanders) and that Americans are more like Autralians. I'm more than proud to say that we Kiwis' are like Canadians.
Americans are friendly. Depends on where. Had family member sick on a bus in Florida, and the number of people offering to help was amazing. Canadians can be polite, but not friendly. People in Toronto have same attitudes I find in Manhattan.
I agree. I live in rural California and the folks here will "give you our shirts and our backs to with 'em." A couple of urban sourpuss examples have tarnished our national image, but the reality is far different.
Wong Jefx About ten years ago I had to move from Ottawa to Toronto. I was terrified!! Just trying to get around overwhelmed me. But whenever someone saw me with my maps and subway maps, they would stop and help me. So later when I was more comfortable I started helping other people who looked lost. I would give people my maps!
Reason why the bridge looks small is, most pictures of the suspension bridge is the one at Capilano Suspension bridge. You are at the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge. That one is a shorter one.
You're in my city! Next time you come, there is a great range of food on Robson St and Denman St. There's a bunch of Korean bbq, Chinese, Japanese, Thai and much more on those streets alone. Those streets are also known for a bunch of popular ramen places. Hope you enjoyed Vancouver!
I love in Victoria (1.5 hour ferry from Vancouver) and I go to Richmond all the time to get away. It's like flying to Asia without losing a day to travel.
I used to work summers as a park ranger in Yellowstone. Busload after busload for Vancouver Chinese would descend upon us every year. Now I know where to go to get great Chinese food without crossing the Pacific Ocean. TFS!
It made me happy to see you visiting in my 'neck of the woods' (I'm in the Seattle area). This was one of my favorite videos for the visual element, but I missed not seeing and hearing you experiencing the food you tried besides the pastries. Glad you're trip here wasn't when it was ferociously rainy!
Next time you are back at Crystal Mall try the restaurant on the first floor called Shanghai 'Elan. They make very good XLB and lots of other dishes. Love their menu: beautiful pictures and each dish is nicely presented. A very popular place. You can enter the restaurant from the outside of Crystal Mall as well.
hey Mikey, I have a question. before you go film at a restaurant, do you let them know ahead of time? or just let them know when you get there? and has anyone ever told you you cannot film in their restaurant?
Mike thank you for this video!!!! I'm going to Vancouver in a month and I have yet to plan the itinerary!!!! I've been watched all your vids for the past month, I'm a big fan!
Literally went to public market today, can't believe you easily found parking. I love the place where you got xiao long bao and the place you got shaved ice. LOL
Nice video, do you have any videos of you in Vancouver again, but where you show us and tell us about the food you are eating and what you think of the dishes?
Hey Mike,if you ever come to Toronto. Please go to a noodle place call 沾仔記. Is located in Richmond hill. Their HOT OIL is the HOTTEST( Spiciest ever )!!! I'm just so curious what's your level on Spicy stuff. Great video as always!!!!
*Welcome to Canada, Mikey!* I don't know if there's any interest for you, but I would LOVE to see what you find in Toronto (the closest major city to me). There are tons of awesome places to eat, and markets!
Hey Mike... remember in one of your recent Japan videos you said that when you're in Japan, you have to eat Japanese food. And yet you went to Vancouver and you ate... Chinese food? What's up with that? Is there no such thing as Vancouver or Canadian food?
Great Video Mikey! IN Silicon Valley I only know of one Xian Food place - it is in Milpitas on Barber Lane next to the Ranch 99. It is called QQ Noodle. They have all the Xian Items you showed on the video and on your other channel. It would be interesting to find out your opinion on that place!
the waiter know you where American because your wearing a Canadian T-shirt. a lot of Americans tend to do this when visiting Canada for some reason.
I don't know but Mike your trips always look very relaxing with slow pace and let us feel relaxed! I'm so happy that even when you're in bad situations, you were still willing to record videos for us.
Thank you so much, Mike!!
I feel you through out your experiences. I take a deep breath with you. Wow.
I lived in the Fraser Valley last winter and we only got a light dusting of snow. it was excellent
Thanks for visiting! Hope you come back soon!
"I woke up to this" *snow*
Me: yeaaaaa, welcome to Canada.
Its fun seeing familiar places in videos like this
So clean and Sprousy, I feel like I'm in a Lysol Commercial. Funny
I love the plane shots.
The difference is: Canadians are nice, Americans are friendly
Eating With Mandy what do you define as the difference between friendly & nice, just curious :)
In my opinion, Canadians are nice in a way where they are more likely to give you directions and help out someone but Americans are friendly where they would easily start chatting a stranger up. Just from my own experience!
Canadians outside of the city are friendly. I live within the city - I can identify the outsiders because they want to chat.
I actually snorted at your fun guy joke hahaha!
Oh my! I can't wait to go Canada next month and see this place in person.
how beautiful is that forest!!!!
I don't know how I got to you're videos but I'm loving them. keep up the good work
Awe, you should have drove down to Seattle. Come in spring for the Tulip festival.
It's beautiful. Like walking through a painting. Rolls and rolls of different tulips. There's two main locations that's an hour drive north of Seattle. Tulip town and Rosengarden.

Should visit the wilds of the Yukon Territories or even Alaska. Great fresh air and wonderful scenery. Good food too.....
Americans are friendly. Depends on where. Had family member sick on a bus in Florida, and the number of people offering to help was amazing. Canadians can be polite, but not friendly. People in Toronto have same attitudes I find in Manhattan.

Big cities=more ruder people. You'll find nicer Canadians in smaller cities in Canada IMO
Reason why the bridge looks small is, most pictures of the suspension bridge is the one at Capilano Suspension bridge. You are at the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge. That one is a shorter one.
So interesting to see my city being showcased through your videos!!!
Welcome to my neck of the woods. Even though our weather sucks right now, compared to usual at least!!
I Miss Vancouver. I am back in Bali now.
Hey Mikey did you confused Lynn Canyon with Capilano suspension bridge? They looks very similar however Capilano is much bigger.
neochaser I think he did get it mixed up
Welcome to Vancouver! Hope u had a wonderful week!
Thank you for visiting Vancouver!!
"I love mushrooms because I'm a fungi" 😂😂😂 I probably laughed more than I should've
It makes sense, I think your waiter was comparing you to mainland Chinese (tourists), pretty much anyone has a leg up over them. 😂
Love Love Love Vancouver! It's where this Canadian girl celebrated her Honeymoon ❤❤ 16 years ago
The like button is not enough!!!
I love in Victoria (1.5 hour ferry from Vancouver) and I go to Richmond all the time to get away. It's like flying to Asia without losing a day to travel.
Fun-gi! I’ll laugh EVERYTIME!

I used to work summers as a park ranger in Yellowstone. Busload after busload for Vancouver Chinese would descend upon us every year. Now I know where to go to get great Chinese food without crossing the Pacific Ocean. TFS!

Mike thank you for this video!!!! I'm going to Vancouver in a month and I have yet to plan the itinerary!!!! I've been watched all your vids for the past month, I'm a big fan!
So lucky to have snow. I live in Europe and we haven't seen any proper snow where I live for 5 years now :(

How much was it to stay at the Hilton hotel. How many nights is enough to see Vancouver including a day to Whistler. I know Vancouver is expensive

Hey ive been living in vancouver for 20+ years. You have to go check out basil pasta bar, in downtown. Cheap, fresh, best high quality pasta.
