- You might be considering registering and moving overseas as a nurse, doctor or professional but not sure what age is the right age.
There is no upper age limit in the UK as long as you are able to meet the registration requirements such as English test CBT, and OSCE for nurses and registration requirements for your chosen field of practice.
You must be able to learn and adjust / adapt to new ways of doing things.
The state retirement age in UK is 65- 67 years and 68 for others.

@@Beckysekyere Hi Becky, is this mandatory retirement? Could a person work longer if he or she wanted? Thanks!
@Patricia Miles, yes an individual can continue to work so far as they are able to. 66 is the current age at which people can apply for their state pension. It is going to be increased to 67 in a few years.
@@Beckysekyere THANK you so much for this information. I'm a little over 50, but working in the UK has been my dream since my 40s. Some day I will be there, soon😀.

What about age over 50..?
@Egg_Man_Com in UK the retirement age is 65+ and there are people who wor beyond that so far as you are well, healthy and can stand the long shifts like 12 hours you should be ok. They don't discriminateon the basis of age. If you have the experience and ability, you are ok🙏
