At 3:52 look how high his butt is. The transfer of energy almost completely directed towards the tail bone. Second. The leg that isnt entangled (the first leg that touches down to the knee; his left leg), notice that his knee touches down not just below the guard players butt, but is noticeably behind this right ankle (look at his left knee and how it touches down at about 3:56). Those are key details in not getting swept or allowing the guarder to get his leg back. Hope this helps..
i use his passing system a lot! but i am not very confident of my side smash position , when i turned my knees to the side i am smashing , my training partner usually will push off and even sweep me with his knees against my knees, what am i doing wrong? should i underhook his arms ?
bro, it just means your base and/OR posture is shit; - first thing you need to learn to get into the habit of keep your head very low! bury it in your partners chest/chin or neck - next you only really need one hand on the guy, when a sweep attempt comes, you need to loose a grip to keep position, but always keep that one hand on the guy, so you know where he is and if anything else is coming (the sweep can be a dummy)
Amazing details. I really had some troubles with small details regarding this pass, this gives me a good idea what to change in my passing game.
i love the concept of his side smash. Do you this kinda pressure passing works for little guys too agains bigger people ?
