People who will say they will wait for s25 when it released will also say will wait for s26 next year. It's never ending tbh. For me with an almost 6 years old phone that overheats whenever I take it outside to take videos or play games, this seems a good option. 7years software update too to boot.
Exactly. They have stash of every phone under the sun. They wanna sound all with it n ahead of the time but they aren't building phones lol !
Love the background music!
Curious . What settings is your Dji osmo pocket 3 at ?
Coming in clutch with the news 👏
Am I detecting some Osmo Pocket 3 footage sprinkled around in this video?
It doesn't look too bad, but I'd still want the Fold 4 or 5
Me too
Get yourself a proper refurbished S23 and you'll be good to go. Amazing battery life, a lot cheaper and everything around it is still premium
What I exactly just did because I actually research shit
I'm gifting My roommate in Need, my mint Note 20 Ultra. That is the timeless OG beast that gave way to all these current S ultras so, ya. Get yourselves the Note 20 Ultras better !!
NOTE 20 ULTRA has a 6.9 inch display so, ya. Plus it's still getting support so. It's no slouch at all !!!
I just want to try that live translation, it looks like fun
planning on trading in my S22U for the S24U. I figure 2 years is the sweet spot where I'm not spending so much to upgrade every year, but the trade-in value hasn't tanked super hard yet like it does after 3+ years. Also, the flat screen of the S24U is probably the biggest reason I'm upgrading, flat screen protectors are so much cheaper and easier to apply than the liquid glue curved glass screen protectors. Makes it super easy to just reapply a screen protector every few months once the microscratches get noticeable.
BTW, Denki , great content, but the constant switching of camera angles is a bit distracting. I wouldn't mind just having the front on A roll. But ultimately it's your creative choice.
Cheers
That will be a huge upgrade in every aspects!
Love your video. Keep it up!
Does anyone know if the S24 series is equipped with the new Qi2 standard?
Im more interested in where he bought the black bocchi sweater from, does anyone know?
Good upgrade for anyone rocking an S20 or earlier.
Cool, ive been waiting for this phone for a long time
Keeping my lovely s23U
Throttle is gonna be wild on these ones
What is the pwm?
The bezels are even on all sides looks really good
Sois the chip situation an outside the US thing or outside North America thing? Becauseyou said both and as a Canadian the difference is pretty big
love your videos
I thought Bocchi was the mike and the fluffy mike part of the hoodie. lol
Your channel is great! I come to Austin for the fun stuff and your channel for the more detailed info
Time to get a good deal on a S23 ultra 😊
bochi hoodie is fire
Love the video, hate to be that guy. But, there is an spelling error at 3:02 message "Security Patches". Not "Secutity patches"
Dude who gives a shit it’s a spelling mistake, if you know what he meant no need to correct him
I managed to pre order the Samsung Ultra 24 1 tb in blue during the unpacked event! :)
I did mess up the billing address but the bank called and I confirmed the transaction so it's all good! :)
They can implement these ai features in s23 ultra too nowadays flagship phones are not looking premium because they are using titanium.
With the small increments of upgrades, would it be possible to enable Galaxy AI on the previous S23 series as a major update? 🤔
I don't believe cause if I remember right they have a chip in the s24 ultra for the Ai function could be wrong but that would make it impossible to do with the s23 ultra
I’m getting a base S24 tomorrow which is good cause it’s a huge upgrade from my iPhone 11
Yes secutity patches. I like it.😆
Are you the guy from the newer spiderman movies?
That is a really nice Bocchi hoodie!
I ordered an S24+ trading in my S21+ since with pre-reserve & student discount, plus the trade in it's a really good deal currently, and I've been wanting to upgrade. Although I don't care at all about the AI features, I will probably never use them
I'm gifting my mint condition Note 20 Ultra to roommate in need and my aunt is gifting me her accidental extra order of the S 24 Ultra in the exclusive Titanium Blue maxed out. She's old n impatient, she accidentally entered the order twice cos she thought the wifi crashed n her initial order didn't go through yikes !!!!
Seems like a waste then mind as well get the S23+ then. If you are getting the S24 mind as well use all it has to offer could be useful.
I don't about the phone where do I get the hoodie lol. At this point just start linking the anime drip as well ken.
I swear people flipflop on whether it's better for phones to be square or rounded
If I hadn't gotten so deep into the Apple ecosystem (iPhone, Airpod Pro, Apple Watch; and an Apple Card), I would go back to Android...
Hey I know that guy!
While he's talking , why im hearing Jaime Rivera of Pocketnow? 😅
I’m fine with iPhone 13, keeping firmware low so can jailbreak one day
I only hope that once QuickShare is standardized across Androids it will come to iOS, because there's no chance in hell Apple will port AirDrop.
3:02 Security + cute = secutity
Here’s my opinion: I personally think the S24 Ultra is good, and if you’re on an older flagship like the S20 Ultra, especially if you have a low storage model (128GB) you might want to consider this generation as an upgrade. Mainly discarding the AI features, and focusing more on the better 5x performance and similar 10x performance, 4k120fps recording, and also software updates going all the way to 7 years now there will be tons of room for improvement for these phones even if the features are a bit buggy
However, i find the normal S24’s quite dissapointing, especially the base model. I don’t like how that flagship has only 4000mah, when some phones for a similar price already have 5000mah in them and similar specs too
also another thing to consider is samsung’s bloatware has doubled because of their new AI. Don’t switch to this phone if you hate bloatware.
I disagree with the bloatware talk. With all the reviews that have been out there haven't been anyone who said there was a new app pre installed into the phone to carry out the AI features. They AI features is integrated with the skin so you don't need any app to use them. How's that an increase in bloatware 🙂?
@@peterchibuike7093 I'm more so talking about the app size and speed itself, adding more features obviously takes up more space therefore to the people who don't need Samsung's apps and don't want it on their phone yet can't delete it because it's Samsung's apps and some are not deletable
i personally don't actually mind the bloatware Samsung gives
And also I'm focusing more on features' menus like the photo Generative AI, sure it's done online but Samsung has to preload the menu
Definitely agree with most of your points. I just have no desire to upgrade from the Note 20 Ultra. I have 2 1TB SD cards that are extremely useful to me, and I don't need the extra power, battery, or better cameras. It has 512 internal storage too, and the same amount of RAM as the S24 (12gb). Law of diminishing returns is real folks lol
Another thing weird about the base S23 is that its screen is still FHD+ while my 5 years old S10 has QHD+ display. Also, on Samsung fine print, "Galaxy AI features will be provided for free until the end of 2025 on supported Samsung Galaxy devices. Different terms may apply for AI features provided by third parties.".... so that 7 years software updates might not be as good as it looks since the device will turn into basically S23 devices just after 2 years
@@KarstenPHT oh okay
trading in my fold 3 with att for s24 ultra, sweet deal a thousand off with trade in. Going to finally go back to a normal phone
Hello I just have to ask, where did you get that Bocchi the Rock sweater at?
1 correction - Samsung had the eraser before Google did. It's just that Google made that their main marketing point thus why people think they did it 1st.
Only reason I want the S24U is the flat screen...been dealing with annoying curved screen for years
S20+ a beast, premium screen uhd specs...no more android updates is the downside ...s24+ is a go.. uhd screen finally
Hows austin
Hi
You are using pocket 3.
hello
Secutity Patches
yowai mo
I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra and i think ill stick with it until the S25 Ultra
I dont think this generation is for me. Rocking s22 ultra and it rocks. I might wait for the s25 ultra or the Oneplus 12 or 13.
1200 for a 256 gb model? affordable smartphone that have almost similar specs: *loads blaster with malicious intent*
And the Galaxy AI features will be free until the end of 2025
I have always been a fan of the ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION technology. I always look forward to the yearly developments and advancements of AI.
I'm upgrading from a Note 20 Ultra... its time 😅
I think this is a high example of where we are now with tech videos. Theres nothing more to say but we have to say something. So lets talk about "palm rejection" or whether a metal feels premium or the "comfort" of a glass and metal slab. Theres really nothing of use on these videos any more because all of these phones are the same. I stop a quarter of the way through and go elsewhere. Sorry to be harsh but its either stuff like this or stuff like Michael Fisher where hes a paid shill and all Im watching is a commercial.
I think Samsung should go back to having one S series phone and bring back the galaxy Note series instead of ultra because u feel like barfing when ever i hear "ultra" or "plus" or "pro".If they still want to give people "Choice" they should just do it with colours and storage(also no different ram choices).
If this is "overkill" to this guy. Then what is planed obsolescence to him, "underwhelming"? Extending life support for gadget is overdue. Hire me as editor. You're welcome.
Meh... I still have the Galaxy Note 20 ultra it just works, but it's good to know.
Same phone as last year
Samsung: Exynos is just as good as Snapdragon
Also Samsung: Our best phone gets Snapdragon everywhere 🤔
I refuse to buy another exynos phone for the same price as a snapdragon.
All those AI features can come to older phones.
Sorry, but circle to search is such a gimmick, Google Lens already did what it does. Samsung just add an option to crop the image for you
AI is alternative of streamimg which is directly translated to subscription. Why should i want to subscribe for 7 years to Samsung if it already released the same brick for the third time?
The AI push is getting old fast
For 1300 dollars, no.
He looks like the male version of Oprah
Only North America gets the snapdragon chips the rest of the world gets exnos.
No don't worry
Go and search more about it
Not a fan of this generation. the AI is far too gimmicky imo
It will depend if they really work or not
What they"re hiding is that ai features will be chargable via subscription starting 2025
Yeah it is gimmicky all the companies are doing it now smh
I’m tired of the AI buzzword too in terms of marketing but I do think it brings genuinely useful features. I just don’t want the AI marketing hype. It’ll be better when the AIness of it just falls to the background and these are just seen as new features
Bruh did you even watch the presentation nothing was gimmicky
the ultra looks like a boring version of the Nokia lumia lineup or sonys old xperia z
Nope get an iPhone obviously
Ew
Nah. This ain’t it. Those AI features are too gimmicky.
evony is trash
As far as I understood s23 will get the "AI" BS, so no need to update
Nothing stay on device if you using android phone unlike ios siri until now is so dumb compare to google counter part
