I must thank you for this mod on the throttle to elevator mix as I have the same issue with the wl toys skyking f959s stabilized power glider and not yet seen anyone solve this issue, and now you've made me really happy with this glider,, my best regards from Alan in the UK 👍👍👏👏👏🥳🥳🥳
I already own the P-51 and just bought the P-40, I will update in a month when it gets here. I paid about $72 with two batteries included. Update, it flys like a brick in 6g mode, has a turn radius the size of Texas, and feels underpowered compared to the P-51. Also to note, it seems my P-51 just died today, no throttle control when I bind the plane.
Thanks i just have the xk p40 didn't have the p51 yet.. But it's fun to fly with the P40's original transmitter too :) but I think the radiomaster are far more better
at 11:50 what do you mean by rudder mixing- are you referring to rudder control mixed with aileron control? Its too bad there isn't an option for that on the p40, especially considering it has other presets to alter control.
Could the P40 be a bit slower because of the weight ? 66 grams . It looks like its 8-10 grams heavier than the Mustang and Corsair according to specs Mine have been delayed in shipping , but i do have the P51 Mustang and Corsair and they seem to be around 57 grams .
Hello blowy fly! I own all 3 of the eachine warbirds but not the XK p40. I really enjoy flying them on a nice calm day, looking at the p40 I think I'm going to get one! I really enjoy your videos keep them coming your friend Marty from Canada 🇨🇦🛩🛩
@@blowy48flyrc hello again! "Check this out " I was looking through banggoods rc planes and I found that banggood is selling the eachine mini BF 109 warbird also a P47 Razor Back mini warbird but the wingspan is 500mm not 400mm and you can get a XK A210 T28 Trojan mini warbird. Hi, I'm from South Africa and I'm considering one of these 2 planes to dip my toes. Here by us the xk a220 is roughly 75% of the cost of the p51, considering that price difference which one would you recommend?( the corsair is priced between the two but not my favorite ww2 plane)
12:45 You say "gyro is a bit overactive." Is it possible that moving the aileron clevis for maximum "action," will influence the gyro "GAIN"? Making it "overactive." The program inside the plane does not know you adjusted the clevis. Regarding motor sound on P40, could the pinion gear of motor be set too tight against the propeller gear? On some of these electric motors, the shaft is not perfectly centered, and if you rotate the motor housing in the mount, the clearance of gear mesh is changed. Gears that mesh too tight will draw more amps, and produce less thrust.
Yes we'll guessing moving the clevis to different holes will influence to gyro and that's interesting what you say about the motor gearbox the XK trojan did feel faster than this p40

P-40 has a really weak engine, I gutted the P51 and gave the Eachine motor and all the internals to the p-40 and it flys like a Dream. I cannot get the p-51 to fly with the p-40's motor and internals. i think its due to CG. idk ill keep crashing and figure it out eventually.

Happy to help and sky king is a great plane very popular
On the gyro, you dont need to make MAX for everyline. I just set a switch and it does all 3 rates for you . Ch 5 in mixes just set a 3 position switch
Thanks

@@blowy48flyrc Yes, but the P51 needs to fly higher because it's so fast hehe..
So, Is the P40 worth it? Thanks!

Great video's on the P-40, they made me order one! Does the P-40 prop also fit on the Mustang?
Good question. The props look to be the same 130x70 written on both and Corsair but the prop savers are different and the spinners
