Thanks for this video. FYI you don't have to do 3 mixes like this. Just add the switch you want to CH5 on the Inputs screen then add CH5 on the Mixer screen. The weights are automatically added
Thanks for the video. You may know this by now but you don't need to create three entries in the mixer for gyro. You can just set the source as the switch and leave the "switch" section blank. Depending on the switch position you'll get -100 0 or 100 as the output.
Awesome, I have radioking tx18s but very easy to follow along. Almost the same transmitter's. Just gotta go test out the stunt button to see if it works. Thanks
Interesting technique to use Channel 5 weighting of -100%. I reversed the channel on the Output screen. Obviously the same thing. But shows how flexible Open TX is.
Brilliant video, I can knife edge my warbirds just about. One problem I have 3 planes 2 x bf109 no problems at all but my p51 worked great for one flight then the next I had no throttle.. switched it back to its own transmitter and it worked back to boxer and no throttle again?
Yes great video for great planes! I struggle to set up the calibration on a 2-, position switch. How making it going from -100% to 100%? I can only go from 0 to 100%. I tried 200% weight, 100 offset, .. curve... But no success. Please help me....
Thank you for this very useful video.if you could give my some advice since I have not been able to make link with the steps that you show. the only thing different is that my radio is mode 1out de box an de plane is in mode 2 thank you so much
I'm not sure what you are talking about there??? If you mean that the radio you have received is set for mode 1 (ie the Throttle and Ailerons are on the right stick and the Rudder and Elevator on the left) but you require the radio to be switched to Mode 2 (Throttle and Rudder on the left plus Ailerons and Rudder on the right) then that is done in the TX16S radio set-up. It has NOTHING to do with the plane. Planes will fly exactly the same (with a correctly set-up transmitter) whether the radio is Mode 1 or Mode 2.
Received my P51 today. Binding with the TX16s works as described in your instructions. What I can't do is calibrate the plane's horizontal position. According to the instructions, both sticks should be held down and outwards and then it should beep. But the beeping stays away. Other stick positions were also unsuccessful. How did that work for you? By the way: I don't have to arm the motor as described in the instructions. The motor also works without arming
Nice to hear Yes on the original radio with the sticks have to be held down and outwards but on TX16S you like to set a switch to channel 6 to calibrate level
I have a weird problem I've Done all the instructions but after binding there are no controls unless I click the range tab next to the bind . It only works when the range screen is open . Any ideas thanks
I only wonder how did you find out the protocol these eachine/volantex mini planes are using? Is there a site out there with repository of different protocols?

I have a Volantex F16 Bound to my XT16S. When i first plug in the battery, everything is working as it should. i have all control surfaces on TRIPLE RATES through the INPUTS tab. I have THROTTLE CUT enabled on a switch to overide channel 3. But when i ENABLE THROTTLE, the GYRO seems to take over all my CONTROL RATES. And then the GYRO OFF SWITCH doesnt disable the gyro. I tried disabling the throttle cut function. Made a totally new MODEL SETTING from scratch a couple times. but i keep running into the same problem. As soon as the throttle kicks on, the gyro gets activated. Any thoughts on what could be going wrong?
Hi, I have a Jumper radio and have Bound these little planes ok but I can't get them to bind to the Eachine TX16s.. I have followed your Vid very carefully but they wont bind.. do you know if there is a reset button on the receiver in these planes?.. Regards, Pete
