Dennis Rodman (6pts/16rebs/4asts/Ejection) (Mavericks) vs. Bucks (2000)

  • Dennis Rodman's second game in his troublesome stint with the Dallas Mavericks. Stats wise this even could be his best game as a Maverick, forget about the points and the rebounds, Dennis shows his ability to pass the ball (a very underrated skill that Dennis Rodman had) and has 4 assists already in the first half. However, Dennis just couldn't behave during this season, he argues a lot with the referees, consistently tucks out his jersey and ends up being ejected from the game, which could have cost Dallas the W. This isn't the real dennis Rodman, people think that this was the type of basketball player he was.
    The only reason why he acted like this was because Mark Cuban told him to do it. He wanted more people to come to the games, so he got Rodman, and told him to be the crazy Rodman.
    Watching this video made me laugh, of course, but again, this was all just an act at the end of his career. It's how he was making money, and how Mavs were making money.

    In terms of temperament, David and Dennis were opposites, but both played a physically aggressive game and spent most of their time in or around the paint. Dirk is a poor rebounder and insane shooter. That's what I mean.

      He started to not care after the Lakers' situation unfortunately. It would've been nice if he was able to stay on the Lakers for a few more seasons. Maybe he could've been there for their championship in 2000 had he stayed there for one more season.

    Its all rigged bro, kinda like Pro wrestling, but slightly more real, the refs definietly dictate the pace and can keep it close. Its definitely ENTERTAINMENT, why do you think the college game is NOTHING like the NBA. In fact Id go so far to say all sports are rigged to an extent, just do some research im sure youd agree. But that doesnt mean its not entertaining.

    • @petercriscuola
      @petercriscuola 10 лет назад +13

      he was awesome man.
      he was a great defensive player and one of the all-time great rebounders.
      5 rings man, show some respect.

    • @mrmacross
      @mrmacross 10 лет назад +8

      Rodman also led the league in FG% in 1989. He used to be a decent all-around player until he embraced his weirdness, at which point he only cared about grabbing rebounds and annoying the opposing players.
      He was an All-Star, 2x defensive player of the year, 2x All-NBA 3rd team, and 7x All-Defense 1st team and 1x 2nd team (and probably should've made it a few more times), and 7x rebounding champ. Greatest rebounder not named Wilt or Russell, and adjusting for era might've been as good as either of them. Certainly had more than one specific skill.

    • @jackmehoff7453
      @jackmehoff7453 8 лет назад

      ***** best rebounder ever? See Wilt, Russell, Kareem, even Walton. Shit Wilt averaged 25 rebounds one season along with 50ppg. Rodman got boards and played D. I don't think much of guys who are not all around players.

    • @petercriscuola
      @petercriscuola 8 лет назад +1

      jack, idiot, nba was different, the pace of the game was different.
      chamberlains 100 points back then, would be like 65 in the 90s.
      oscar robertson triple double season would be not like that in todays nba, the pace of the game is very different.

    Do some research, the power that be control everything, dont fall for the illusion, COVERT rigging is the key. Look up every professional sport....you think they really arent pushing certain buttons at certain times? come on man wake up, people used to say the same thing about wrestling. There is too much money involved for it not to be by some ONE at any given moment. . .
