I think the cannon would be a nice item to combine with other certain items. When used singularly it does the bullet bill thing. But if your other slot is a mushroom, banana or bob-omb it shoots those instead, using up both item slots.
Finally someone who also agrees Rosalina and Pauline would be a good duo in the Spin-Off games. Oh, and btw, really good video, i love seeing these type of videos and you did a great job!
This video was insanely well made and I especially love the triple blue shells and drill mushroom. I also think that regular piranha plant is a better choice than Petey because Petey is just absolutely enormous.
Imagine Nintendo also adds an excavator bucket as an item where the player can throw back players and items. And if a blue shell is coming ❗️YOU HAVE ONLY 1 FRAME❗️ to throw it back

Plus, I always find it weird how people constantly call characters like Wiggler and Honey Queen random and unfitting picks for Mario Kart, yet these are usually the same people that want all these relatively niche and obscure RPG characters on the roster that would arguably be just as out of place.
The Fake Item Box needs a complete revamp in terms of function while retaining its defenseless properties so it can actually fool people. Giving it a convincing design like in 64 isn't enough because with it fubctioning similarly to the Banana, if the item is in the wrong spot, then it's clearly a fake, even with a more convincing design. I would make it so that it infects an Item Box in the nearest item set and stays there until either a player runs into it or a certain amount of time passes, at which point the infected Item Box will be cured. From a distance, the Fake Item Box will have a regular question mark, only on approaching will the question mark turn upside down.
I feel like goomba would be a funnier pick than piranha plant because of its lack of arms lol and also potentially wouldn’t remove Petey from the roster, other than that great vid!
Edit: Rabbid Kong is hilarious, I thought you were going to say Fawful or Dimentio like most of these types of videos unrealistically say, but I could definitely see this happening since the Mario rabbids games were recent and popular, and Nintendo frequently partners with Ubisoft making it easier to work out then something like, say, Geno. That is a bold opinion saying no one would pick Baby Luigi over Dry Bowser, I did that specific thing throughout my entire childhood and even do that now as an adult. We don't need 5 babies for sure but at least keep Baby Mario and Luigi for the Double Dash and Partners in Time fans. Also Dry Bones is NOT a clone. Mario and Luigi are more similar visually than Koopa Troopa and Dry Bones are beyond body similarities while sitting still. Koopa Paratroopa is a Koopa clone, not Dry Bones, he has different voice clips, very unique animations that remove his head frequently, and has a lot of fans. There was a reason he was one of the main characters they brought back in Kart 8 Deluxe, and he was in Mario Kart DS even when Koopa Troopa wasn't.
I definitely wish Bandicoot because he has his own racing game and would like to be there and because 2 because I wish Rob was since he was only on DS and you could unlock him on the Wii and since then he has never returned

Seriously? You can't just add Rabbid Kong in the Mario Kart roster when Mario + Rabbids is not canon to the mainline Mario universe and the rabbids are own by ubisoft.
Good video, the one thing I would change is the boomerang flower should DEFINITELY return over the fire flower. They’re both good offensive items but the fire flower is just ten times more mashy and less fun. Plus it has some overlap with the signature items for Mario and Luigi, where the boomerang is more distinct. If the fire flower was reworked maybe but it should NOT come to the next game as is.
