You are definitely right about 'condition' (especially in everything we buy for resale). But I have found in certain books that people will be somewhat forgiving. I picked up a large book with a damaged spine ( about 2"of the bottom edge). The subject was Free Masons (circa 1900 publication). That type sells rather handily even though it is compromised. So, be aware that certain subjects, ie. Magic, Tarrot, Mysticism, Free Masons, Black Arts, and certain Sciences will still sell damaged. 🙂 just an fyi, Dom

the Shocking Blue albums for $1.00 would have been a deal, they did the song "VENUS." Dom, i thought of you last week when i was out thrifting. Looking on a shelf with a bunch of small items including some small zippered cases. I check all the cases to see if they have anything in them. sure enough the smallest one for $2.00 had a 12.1 mp canon powershot in it:) sold for $145.00 + shipping in a couple day!! Always look up, down, over, under and IN everything to find the hidden treasure others pass by. Is that damn sound advice? no... its DOM sound advice!! Ah, Mr. Primetime you missed picking up that sketchbook which looked like one from Bee company. There are artists ( like me) who buy vintage art papers and use them in our work. Next time pick up those art papers and sketchbooks, especially if they are unused with lots of paper still in them. But nice score on the other artwork!!!!! And big score on the Crayola's.

Then finally, I got the 64 box with sharpener for Christmas! I loved looking at all the colors and learning to pronounce them. But you've shown me many items that generally get overlooked at estate sales that can be picked up at a great price still, so I appreciate that greatly! Also, as a side note, I have a black and white shih tzu, so I mean this with nothing but love and affection for the breed, they are loving and sweet dogs without a mean bone in their bodies, but they aren't exactly the brightest crayons in the box!! That's funny because when I was a little kid I had a lamp shade that had colonial war motifs on it and one of the words on it was Fort Ticonderoga. I always remember looking at that and wondering where it was lol
