How to REALLY Shiny Hunt in Mass Outbreaks

Have we been doing mass outbreaks WRONG this entire time?
The Pokemon Company has just released an article on how to catch shiny Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. Most of the information is known. Some, however, contradicts what we've been doing all along.

It’s gotta be like an RNG thing. Swear I’m doing Mass Outbreaks for hours before getting shiny despite how high the odds are

Patience, my friend! Sometimes it takes me hours to find one and other times I’ll find one before I even defeat the 60 Pokémon haha!

it seems like before I get to 60 pokemon the outbreak just likes to be like oh no more mass outbreak =.= but I'm not good with numbers so I feel like I'm miss counting but I do count things out loud so I don't know anymore,,so I just stop after the second message

Yeah it seems like outbreaks like to not spawn a ton of Pokémon sometimes especially when there’s a ton of other pokemon spawning in the area. Must have to do with a limit of how many pokemon the game will render at one time
