This is huge for raising and training Pokemon. Hopefully this can also be a great way to farm XL Candies, Rare Candies, PP Up/Max, Vitamins, etc. Praying for Blissey raids and then farming them has lost its appeal. :P

As of Aug 12 2024 it still works. Try pressing at 14 seconds instead of 13 if on the regular Switch.

I'm on an Oled Switch and I had success by pressing it at 6 and 14 seconds respectively. I always failed otherwise.
I kept activating the lotto on the OLED but I found something that works without having to restart the game. Do 9 seconds for the first part and 13-14 for the second, hope it works for you guys!

Try 14 seconds I’m on the original model switch and getting it consistently on 14 seconds

Currently, I’m breeding Pokémon that are particular to _Legends Arceus._ A lot of those are best with their Hidden Abilities in ScVi. So this is particularly useful to me.
I'm using my Switch Lite and I'm doing everything exactly right but i keep getting either 10 big gold nuggets or 2 gold bottle caps and 2 mastercups,is this happening to anyone else?,I'll try it at both 12 seconds and at 14 seconds to see and I'll update this comment if it works with either one cause at 13 seconds it's just not working properly lol
due to it being switch lite the timing is likely a little different. It may require some experimentation on ur part. Overall, using a normal switch in my vids the time i want to kill after pressing A is about 2 seconds, during the fade to black part. If that part is faster or slower for you in ur game, please consider that for when u first press A to print job

Honestly i didn't find the masterball one really useful but this is perfect especially for building obscure pokemon for a specific raid and not having to waste your money

Ive noticed that if you cant get the 2x to work click the button one second sooner
Strange thing I notice with this is it only worked for me where I use the controllers that came with game. The 2x bonus worked with a turbo controller and switch controllers but when I do the ability patch time it only worked on the original controllers. I tired second before and after and didn’t work. I go back to the original controllers and it works just fine. Great work and thanks for sharing this money is no longer an issue.
Not sure if it's just me, but on my oled I get either a ppmax or a star piece and the X2 Item bonus for the first stage. And no matter what I do after that I get X2 Ribbon Sweet, X2 Berry Sweet and the same assorted crap and that is with several seconds over, under and on the timer.

Same! I wish Tera Shards were easier to farm (or they reduced the bs 50 requirement to something more manageable like 10-15 to change a Pokémon’s Tera type). Even the Glimmering Charm + Raid Power lvl 3 doesn’t give you that many more shards from Tera raids, and it’s a tooooooon of grinding.
@@aspiringwayfarer Facts. I' have the Glimmering Charm and it *still* takes about 5-10 mins per Pokemon to get all the shards. It's really dumb. Not enough people talk about this issue.

ye its the same as what im saying. Its -1 from the target time, which i dont talk about. I just show the time u need to set, which for me was -2 seconds. So i say for OLED users to +1 second from what I show, which gives them -1 from the target time

On my system I have to get 6 seconds on the dot (maybe a smidge early like 5.9) to get the 2x items, but have to be WAY late to get the patches, like 13.7

EDIT: Found the setup for my own OLED Switch. 2x Item Bonus is after 6 seconds, with the Ability Patches being 14 seconds. I don't know if it's the same for every OLED, or just mine

@@BLAINES to be fair you explained that you need to add a second for the Oled, which would make it 7 seconds and this will not work - been through it numerous times - but with the 6 and 14 Seconds it now finally works! Thanks so much @heyhans :)

i dont kno about the timing for switch lite but u can calculate it urself. The real target time is +2 seconds to what I say press A for print job at. The reason is, i deduct 2 seconds for my normal switch to allow for the fade black time (approx 2 seconds) to bring me to the target time correctly. This is why its different on OLED, deducting 1 second. So consider how fast your fade to black part is and guage ur timing according to that

I’m doing it at 7 seconds on an oled and constantly getting pokeball lotto. What’s going on I have no clue
I cant get anything but the big nuggets. I am on the original switch and have tried upwards of 15 times with different timings on each side of 13 seconds. nothings working.
I did it my first 2 trys, and it worked. Then, about 40 failed attempts afterward. Original switch as well. Tried a little early, a little late, right on time. Can't seem to get it.
I have the OLED I do it at 7 seconds and I only get the pokeball lotto

Didn't Blaines himself mention in one of his videos that it's best to disable the update patches on a new console rather than an existing old console to prevent update patches for the latest version for the console and for the games as well to do these item duplication glitches? I'd ask Blaines himself to explain better and ask him which patches his console had at the time after he'd filmed this video. Besides I think he'd also mentioned that by doing this you couldn't do certain things like not being able to receive mystery gifts anymore or was it trading with other people that he'd once mentioned in one of his past video posts. Once again if Blaines has got the time to read this post and can confirm if what I said is true then hope that helps.

I have an OLED Switch. When I do the +1 second to the time it NEVER works. When I use the normal Switch time with my OLED Switch it does work. Why does this not make sense 😤
It's due to different software programming. Without getting into big details it's all about how code execution works on different technology. The OLED process code slightly different, so you need to fine tune the outcomes trying different seconds and seeing what works for you.
Most OLED Switches will work with 6 seconds for the first part, then 14 seconds for the second part.

So, for some reason, I'm able to get the Black Belt on the 6 seconds, but for some reason it *Will not* give me the Ability Patches on the Item Bonus, no matter how accurate I am with timing. Im using a First Edition Switch. Not OLED.

Is this still working? Because I I've waited in different time intervals between 8 - 15 seconds and I've only gotten 2x items once. The rest were poke ball lotto
It still works! For my switch I had to do 8 seconds for first one, which would trigger 2x item bonus, and 13 for second one which would give me the ability patches.
I think the amount of seconds varies for everyone, just have to do a bit of experimenting, but this exploit still works for sure. :>
Edit: It seems that it gives different results based on the milliseconds as well so look out for that.
