May be, this technique can be used to make rings and chains with just one shuttle only, first making rings only leaving bare thread space and then coming back filling all those bare threads...... also thrown rings can be made on sssc, I guess...? 🤔

Yes, basically the same thing. SSSC aren't used that much - I can't think of an example off the top of my head...will have to have a think!
