    Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! RUclips's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we get an up close and personal, in depth look at the iconic, Ferrari Testarossa.
    During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features. Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
    FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth educational videos of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. +MyDan36 Yeah, so good they used it *twice* . For the 1957-1958 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa first, of which only 34 were ever made - as it was a race car.
      And I bet a million you didn't know about that one.

    "unmistakable from a far" "nothing but raw driving pleasure".... now that sums up this car perfectly Kyle ! this was back when Ferraris still were recognizable as such for even those that knew next to nothing about cars. the modern ones just don't have that same appeal , presence and charisma anymore. Testarossa, an icon indeed!

    I remember when this car came out those "cheese grater" side air intakes were not well received. It was a love it or hate it design theme. I wasn't a fan of this car until a year or two after it came out and I saw one in person. Seeing one in person made me a fan of this car instantly. Pictures in magazines didn't do this car justice and we didn't have things like RUclips videos do get views like this of it.

    One of my all time favourite Ferrari designs of all time. I love the 'cheese-slicer' intakes & the 80s boxy edge looks. The flat-12 is a marvelous piece of work as well.
    I prefer however the 512TR models however due to better ergonomics & IMO finer looking details, but the same timeless shape prevails.

    • @paulallen8109
      @paulallen8109 8 лет назад

      +jippalippa I hope you're joking. Listen. The Testarossa often makes the list of the most vulgar and tasteless cars ever made. It epitomises the over-the-top excess of the 80's perfectly as it would never have been made in any other decade. I'm going to quote a modern day car designer and I'll happily provide you with the link of his website. "To say that you like the Testarossa immediately reveals that you're completely bereft of taste and class. The style died with the 80's and never made a comeback. The predecessor, the Berlinetta Boxer, was way better aestethically balanced."
      Second of all. Who are "we"? Pininfarina designed it (hard to believe) and Ferrari manufactured it. Who the hell are "we" ??
      You'd better be some troll posting nonsense to annoy people.

      No, grumpy old farts like old 80's cars like this silicon-boobed luxury escort in automotive form.
      Btw, ad hominems are a fallacy. Rather than disproving my argument using facts and reason you attack me personally. That's ad hominem - the hallmark of those with nothing of value to say.
      I can provide you with a few links to back up what I say. What can you do? Nothing much besides of being a fool with a knee-jerk reaction to anything valid.

    • @3Storms
      @3Storms 8 лет назад +1

      +Justinion Jn Baptiste You don't want a Countach. It's a horrible car. The clutch is like "WELL FERRARI HAS HEAVY CLUTCHES SO WE'LL SHOW THEM BY MAKING AN EVEN HEAVIER CLUTCH!" It looks aerodynamic but it's not really and drives like a brick on wheels because those wheel flares even though they look cool actually channel air out sideways to increase wind drag and resistance instead of reducing it. The tail somehow also creates drag, and the car goes faster and handles better without it. And the seats are the worst part. They're spine-destroyers. They're horribly uncomfortable, and the interior ergonomics of the car are where you gotta be a gorilla with long arms and short legs to be comfortable in it. It looks cool but it's not what one would call a "daily driver."

    So the first Testarossa’s came with the metric size Michelin TRX tires on 16.3” wheels. Then Ferrari switched to the much better Goodyear Gatorbacks on 16” 5 bolt rims. But when did Ferrari switch from 5 lug wheels to wheels that were secured with a large center nut? I’ve seen it shown on several Testarossa videos showing the large wrench supplied with the car which you need to use a hammer to tighten or loosen it.
