Installing a NECK BREAKING Honda Mod! | RSX Subframe Brace & Control Arms

- In today's video, the RSX Build continues with a mod that's confirmed to break necks! We install the MPC Motorsport Billet Rear Subframe Brace, Rear Tie Bar, and Lower Control Arms on the DC5 Type S. BRACE YOURSELF!
Taking a page from my Honda Civic Build, I knew I wanted to run a Subframe Brace and Control arms on the RSX Type S. This mod not only looks awesome, but is a functional way to stiffen up the chassis. MPC Motorsport had made a limited Gunmetal bracing set that was the PERFECT match for the color scheme I have going on. As far as some of the best Honda mods, this is up there on my list. For 90's Honda's, this reinforces the wear rear subframe and prevents tear-outs if running a large sway bar. (Yes I know I still need to install a sway bar on the Civic).
Overall, Im PUMPED on the way this looks and I can't wait to hit some windy roads to test it out. MPC makes killer stuff and this setup is no exception. Thank you all for being patient while I find the time to keep the RSX Build going! This summer has been a busy one, but trust me, there's plenty more to be done on the car!

@@OnlyOriginalNinja This is still a very stock looking RSX compared to others that are "modded". This is a great example of a clean OEM+ build and hes starting with a great foundation. In Los Angeles, we have tons of stock RSXs running around. I just sold one with 85k miles 100% stock and sold it for 10.5k
@@pachecodc5 Glad you guys agree. A lot of these RSX have goofy wings and worthless aero... Throw some claw marks and a hanging heart, that adds +5 HP. 🥱

About to open up a new insta on wrenching on my honda, Its theme is off for most people but its supposed to remind you of the 2000's and why its bodykits where so special back then. I want to inspire people to start demanding customizability of cars exteriors so we can see some crazy umique cars again

I literally have the exact same setup waiting for me to install it on my EM2 but I have the silver version of the arms and brace. I also have a type s sway bar that will go with it. 🤘 Great choice

I did lca's and subframe brace on my 97 Ek sedan, even on stock suspension made such a difference.. stiffened up the chassis, way better handling and steering response as well as stability.. looks sexy af from behind also 😂😂still gotta install the tie bar though need longer bolts!

Hey Anthony, do yiu know if all the bolts come from mpc for mounting these, or do they have to be purchased separately?
does the rear end feel really light at high speed turns still after the changes to the suspension and ride height?

What exaust do you have?
Do you have stock headers?
Have you had water leak issues? Check stress cracks on the roof (under the plastic strips) leaking down inside the trunk. Check your rear side compartments are not filling up with water. You're not going to know until you remove the rear trims in the trunk. Also watch out for the starter motor grind when it's cold.....
No cracks or leaks. But I do have the cold starter grind in the winter haha

Plenty of front suspension mods for the RSX. Just depends on what you need
I wanted a RSX but I ended up getting a integra and all I got to say is not all cars look as good as they say they are lol
