- This video provides detail information on how to configure the very popular 60-in-1 Board (Vertical Arcade Games) and its sibling, the 19-in-1 Board (Horizontal Arcade Games) so they BOOT UP to a Single Game!
This enables you to replace an existing broken PCB in your dedicated arcade cabinet with one of these boards...such as DEFENDER or MS PAC-MAN.
The audience for this video includes owners of the 60-in-1 Board or the 19-in-1 Board...and those that are curious about these two boards.
I have these boards installed in several of my Arcade1UP Cabinets - 60-in-1 Board is installed in an A1UP "Space Invaders" Cabinet and the 19-in-1 Board is installed in an A1UP "Asteroids" Cabinet.
I have another video on my RUclips Channel that goes into great detail about how to use the SERVICE BUTTON and the TEST BUTTON...and all of the features that are accessible via those 2 Buttons. The link to that video is: • PRIMER: 60-in-1 and 19...
Links below are for my RUclips series on converting an Arcade1UP Cabinet to use the 60-in-1 Board:

Thank you Scott! These Jamma videos have been very informative. I'm new to all of this and you have saved me a lot of time and frustration.
Thanks so much for the info and leading me to the video. I'm sorry I didn't see it originally in your list. 👍
This is great! Thank you!
On the 19 in 1, you find your button layout perfect for that board? I'm fixing to build a control panel and looking for ideas. Totally different from the 3 buttons needed for the 60 in 1.
Hi. I also have problems with the button layout with the 19 in 1 board. Any good ideas? I was thinking about using one joystick with four action buttons in a diamond shape formation. That should work perfectly for robotron and because the other games only uses 1-2 buttons that should also make them playable. But thats only my theory so far.
Hey Scott, I was wondering, does this work on the 412 in 1 game board? I figure you can make it play one game, but will it boot straight to that game if you do select only one game? Or will it show the game select menu? Thanks for the great content!
I have a PBox DX but have NOT tried this. I believe u disable ALL game Roms except for the one u want to Boot to.
Scott, Firstly, I have Really enjoyed watching a lot of your clips, and they have Really helped me learn a lot about all this, but I have a question for you. I have heard on other reviews that the SOUND is very poor on the JAMMA cards, and that makes me kind of hesitant about buying the 60 in 1 kit as you did, what are your personal thoughts about the sound on the games from the card? I have the Space Invaders, and am looking to do the same 60 in 1 kit as you did. Thanks again, you really provide some really fantastic content and a Huge help for a lot of us out here.
Very few have Sound issues - the only one I can complain about is Gunsmoke as it’s loud & distorted. The sound on the other games on the 60-in-1 don’t bother me.
@@scottfarrar3441 Wow, well that changes my mind a bit then, I'm mostly in it for the classics like everyone else, I'll try it out on my Space Invaders then, thank you so much Scott!
Thank you for the video I would assume if you leave a couple of games and not just one you still get a menu thanks
Your assumption is correct. For example, u could just make it a 2-game system by only enabling DEFENDER and STARGATE.
Dumb questions if you have a 60 and 1 does it automatically default into vertical mode on a wide screen monitor?
No
@@scottfarrar3441 well I just confirmed with the mame group on Facebook that it does default to the vertical mode so are they wrong?
Do these save high scores permanently ?
No
Isn’t this obvious in the instruction manual?
If people "read" the instruction manual. Many people want to know the answer before they purchase the actual product. Many people don't know this feature of the product - turning a multi-game board into single game board. Same question gets asked about Pandora Boxes and RetroPie images.
