Nowadays too much technology is so crowded in the engine compartment. Usually they start to give problems 90k. On rams if you don't change the transmission oil at 60-70k miles. Over pass 100k you are late don't even bother to do trans oil change. All those lose metals are now as part of the oil gear grip.
