Yep agreed. Even though I have been using CB for a long time, playing with a touch screen needs some getting used to. This guide was perfect and easy to follow. Thankyou!
I've been searching and yessssss, this is the perfect guide on how to use charge b lade. While others showing too fast, in this video you can see how to do it in real life with real fingers. Just exactly what I want! Thank youuuuuu!!!!!
Random recommended video, and I can't be more thankful to the algorithm. This video is simply amazing. Well written and easy to understand. Many thanks!
@@monsterhunternowsg It is very informative and aesthetically pleasing to watch. You must have put a giant amount of effort into it. I love it! Yeah, I will try it again. Got some tricks to test.

Wooow, I'm just coming back to the game for CB, and this guide is the one I seek, Thanks a lot! as a non English speaker, this is really a nice guide and easy to understand, Thanks once again!
Also, you can cancel an SAED into a regular AED by swiping down when the animation begins (charging the axe). AED attack is quicker to get out with the shorter animation, swings closer to the hunter, and gives three explosions for the cost of only 1 phial. Being able to only AED instead of SAED can be very helpful during a fight!
I'm curious if the number of phials stored in the shield extends the duration of the empowered shield, i would assume so, but in my experience i haven't noticed a difference in empowered shield duration between 1 phial and 5 phials.
Te agradezco mucho es una guía que necesitaba empeze a jugar este juego y me gustó la hacha carganda pero no sabia como ocuparla y solo queda decir que estos combos no los tiene ni Obama la verdad me ayudaste demasiado
Very well done; informative and clear. During the Axe combo, after the double swing (Elemental Discharge 2), you can delay pressing the attack button until your character spins around; doing so gives you an overhead axe swing that uses no phials (Axe: Smash), which combos back into ED2. Doing this can allow for infinitely looping axe attacks, with the stronger of the 2 discharge swings (two hits plus explosions for one phial). I have a video on my page showcasing this. ruclips.net/user/shortsTwIXLzaAZuU?si=uTJZODPdKlEvXkzF
@@monsterhunternowsg You're welcome! I've not seen anyone else discovering that move, so I'm doing what I can to spread the information; it's a great attack to hit wings and high tails and heads, and really lets you milk axe damage. I just wish there was a way to exit axe mode without using or storing phials. Best option is likely just canceling into an AED, or just store them anways for a longer red shield. :/
@@elamx7 thats great:) and oh there is a way though i havent tried it out yet - when you hold in axe mode, before your axe ‘locks’ into aed stance, if you quickly swipe up, you should return to sword mode w/o consuming phials.
In DPS, yes. The only gripes that could be made about DBs is reach for certain monster parts, and managing stamina/the poor evade in demon mode. At a high level of play, these things are assumed to be already managed by a high level player whose ready to deal with them and reap the rewards of DBs insanely high dps when played correctly. You can potentially deal more damage with Long Sword, but that's the point, it's potential, based on what the monster does, where your Iai counters hit, etc. With DBs you get consistently high melee dps without relying on counters. I actually prefer LS, but the consistent DPS of DBs can't be argued.

Doesn't red shield also boost axe damage too in the main series? Does it do that too in Now?
heyya! yes it does in Now, it boosts axe damage by 20%. 🙏
I'm curious if the number of phials stored in the shield extends the duration of the empowered shield, i would assume so, but in my experience i haven't noticed a difference in empowered shield duration between 1 phial and 5 phials.
hello! yes number of phials infused affects the duration of red shield. duration included at 08:55.
thank you :D
