You know you're thriving as a 17 y/o girl, when you're watching a middle aged man documenting sub par food.
Oh shit late 20/ early 30s is middle age? I think I'll go and cry....
Alan Partridge I assumed he was in his late 30s
Alan Partridge he should probably sleep more
I think he meant that middle age is actually more like mid 40's
the noise honestly, he couldve been

i dont understand
charlie Oscar ppl are homeless and dont eat they wud love some of this
I lived off Tesco Basics (or equivalent) for about a year as a student and frankly it wasn't that bad at all. You learn what to avoid and what not to. For example: Basics pasta is fine, basics pasta sauce is like coloured water. The simplest frozen meals like macaroni cheese and spag bol are acceptable. Crisps and biscuits are absolutely fine, and cornflakes too as you found out Mike. TBH general rule of thumb is anything with preservatives in seems to be fine, but anything that's meant to resemble fresh vegetables or vegetable sauce/puree isn't so good. I should really go back to buying Basics range again on certain products, saves a bunch of money, I just don't do it any more because I'm lazy and it's easier to pick up something from the corner shop.
Yeah, exactly it's just picking up the right products which you know doesn't change in quality much with changes in price.
It's about the same here in the US with someplace like Walmart, and their Great Value brand, or another big Super market like Kroger's which has a # of different house brands that are normally cheaper, you just learn what you like, and don't like over time.
There's no such thing as Tesco Basics. Tesco have Everyday Value, Asda have Smart Price, it's Sainsbury's who have Basics. Then they have the more upmarket brands, Finest (Tesco), Extra Special (Asda), Taste the Difference (Sainsbury's), The Best (Morrisons).
Snoop Dogg *more people* so he’s been a drag, has he?
Don't you mean Sainsbury's Basic?
I do this every week at uni allow it
This comment has just made my day😂😂
😂😂
Kirpal Singh hahahaha allow it you know
allow it
😂😂😂
Ive lived of supermarkets own brand for most of my life. It may be cheap and people look down on it loads but when you cant afford the expensive stuff you have to deal with it.
Im now at uni and all my cupboards, including my flatmates, are all full of sainsbury basics and tescos own brand. It help us and its good stuff.
Tesco everyday value is not crap. I budget my money and it has been proven that the majority of the value products have had a better taste than the branded food. Also the majority of the food has less salt, and sugar.
Clara Cooper. Agree he's a posh git
Susan Walls - you're calling him a posh git because he buys branded food labels?........ but it's not exactly expensive
Clara Cooper my family can easily afford food and good quality food too (I am very grateful) but still I enjoy there Doritos , ham and biscuits are nice even though everything may not be perfect doesn’t mean bits can be great
Clara Cooper Taste is subjective. Also, attitudes to food affect one's food choices. That's why the market has multiple niches for every product. For example, white Bread. Every supermarket has different brands of the humble loaf of white bread at different price points and quality. There is no minimum standard of loaf, so some loaves are really bad. They fill you up but have unpleasant side effects if you eat too much like constipation. So, buy the best food you can afford, especially as food will get more expensive in the current economic climate.
Charli Wilson I do too I buy value brand in most things for me and my daughter
As a graphic design graduate, a lot of the money is saved on the packaging. That's why it's always white and a couple of colours in any value brand for supermarkets.
owlsshadowsfears anyone without a degree can tell you that.
someone is unhappy they didn't get one.
You don't say..
Definitely don’t need a degree to understand the concept of economies of scale + coloured ink being more expensive
owlsshadowsfears we are all so jealous of your graphics design degree, £50,000 well spent.
For years I led a privileged lifestyle where I only ever bought "the best" (meaning most expensive), including "premium" food. Then my life fell apart due to several disasters, and I ended up living out of Food Banks. On the very rare occasion that I could afford to actually _buy_ food, it was always Tesco Everyday Value stuff.
IIRC the TEV creamed rice puddings were 15p a tin. That formed the bulk of my diet for a couple of years.
Although my circumstances have now improved dramatically, living on a shoestring taught me a valuable lesson in consumerism. The idea that more expensive == better is just marketing propaganda. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. In reality there's very little correlation between retail price and quality, primarily because there's basically zero correlation between retail price and manufacturing cost. Capitalism encourages price gouging, or "as much as the market can bear", as the capitalist mantra goes.
The practical upshot is that if you can overcome your indoctrinated prejudices against "cheap" goods, and actually try them, you'll often find that they're just as good - or sometimes even better - than supposed "premium" goods.
A lot of the TEV stuff is pure junk, however. Although to be fair that's not really because they're part of the TEV range, but more because they're "convenience" items that represent extremely poor value for money, no matter what brand you go for.
"Pot Noodles" are a prime example. You get almost no actual food (either in terms of calories or nutrients) for your money, and as you noted the flavour was utterly insipid. You'd be far better off buying the TEV spaghetti noodles (used to be 20p a packet, IIRC), and making up your own sauce from any condiments, bouillons and other bits you have lying around.
No, it's not a proper Chinese egg noodle, but then neither is any of that convenience junk either, so what difference does it make? It's a fraction of the price per weight, provides far more calories, and might actually contain a few useful nutrients for a change. Job done.
When you have to choose between feeding the electric meter or your stomach, you quickly stop caring about what is or is not "proper". I recall making "pizza" from loaf enders. It's amazing what garlic and tomato puree can do to Welsh Rarebit.
Homer Slated bravo sir. Few people get to experience such extremes in life, and you are clearly a better person for it.
And then when you choose to feed your stomach but can't cook anything because you didn't feed the electric meter.
Totally agree with you
I used to have tescos value range until my express store decided to only stock the more expensive brands. If your out of work like I was, the value range is literally a life saver.
17p a bottle whats it from the peckham spring lol
Charlie Shakur lool harsh
Charlie Shakur lol, nice reference 😄👍

Ciaran Mc Donnell 👌
I can see this working out. Sure, this doesn't look like the best food in the world but it's likely a lot btter than some of the other one-week diets he's had.
Meh this diets don't really help at all, especially if his goal is long term weight loss... Would be a lot more sensible if he used the exercise machines he reviews, as they advertise it, for an actual week, instead of one session. And it would also make for a lot more informative review...
Week on the Doggystyle Exercise Machine! It did say just minutes a day ;P
Its not about quality but quantity.
The food isn't terrible, but if he's having pot noodle and crisps for lunch I don't expect rapid weight loss.
Richard wrong
It is about quality not quantity
I would rather have less and have it be of a higher quality
Than a load of crap low quality stuff
This is the most British channel I’ve ever seen
Aye Is It nope.... watch ashens lol
Tesco value antidepressants.
🤣
The Chocolate maybe?
@@AgentTasmania oh god no, even that's a bit... 😩
Some "Value" stuff is actually more than okay IMHO. I buy the water because the water out of my tap tastes like arse (thanks to the piping network). The tortillas are quite okay too.
R33Race most of the time the same manufacturer of the name brand stuff makes the generic stuff too
the sainsbury's basic salmon is better than the higher branded salmon too! higher fat content as it from the "lesser quality" part of the fish and comes in weird shapes, so much more flavor and moisture though and you pay by weight of pack
R33Racer Tell me about it. My tap water tastes like rusted metal.
You can buy water filters that fix that problem. There are different kinds (some of them are pretty crap) but I recommend the ones you hook to the pipe line before faucet. Depending on how bad it is you might have to change it out pretty often, but its still probably cheaper than buying bottles.
Did I mention that my water is very hard too? It shows when I wash the dishes, they always end up having some white stuff on them that I then have to scratch off. No really, a water filter would work 1 week max with water like that.
People will watch someone eat cheap food? Dang it, I could have made YEARS of content when I was younger.
Random American people watch far uninteresting things than this
... I watched a video of people doing their weekly shop. .I mean WTF is wrong with us!!!!! I can do that when I'm actually shopping! !!
Random American well, instead of studying (I’m guessing you’re saying this when you were at university or something) you’d have to record and edit, while uploading and designing thumbnails for each video. could’ve been full time RUclipsr haha
Grew up on this shit lmao I love it
Well he could drop dead on these type of diets.
The tortilla chips are great, been buying them for years. Add a bit off cheese and spices etc and you have nachos which would be like £4 in a chain restraunt.
They’re amazing! My kids prefer them over any other crisps plus much less fat and salt, Brucey bonus!!
Djaay Same tbh
Okay but I don’t understand why this video has been constantly on my recommended page for two weeks straight
jessie elcome your being tracked...
They got you to watch though
RUclips knows how broke you are for not having Premium.
no no no no no no you put the lid over the pot noodle to sorta steam the noodles and keep the heat In then you take it of when you eat it
teagoodsir still ended up the same though
How long have you watched his videos... When has he EVER followed directions on any packaging?
Cheap Cooking Channel yea fair point but it's just something you do
Cheap Cooking Channel yea fair point but it's just something you do you know :)
I screamed when I saw him ripping off the lid
Most value items are almost the same as normal products. It'd a marketing strategy to have multiple tiers of the same product, even if the product itself is almost identical
Master Pooper Why?
Ahah everyone taking the piss but I have no choice to live if value products because it’s all my family can afford. Moral of the story think about what you say because some people have no other options
alfie rowe He is just testing the food and saying what he thinks of it
alfie rowe if you check the ingredients in this stuff, there's actually a lot less preservatives and other crap in them than the more expensive products.
Sulaiman 7894 what’s wrong with it? Just food at the end of the day if it’s all someone can afford instead of mocking them why not help them... oh wait because you’re an internet troll with no fucking brain
alfie rowe I grew up in a single parent family and my mum barely got any financial support off of my dad. Consequently my mum made the money we had go as far as she could. Nothing like going to the supermarket with a calculator to make sure you don't overspend. She very rarely treated herself to anything. She died 6 years ago and I'd give anything to have her back and spoil her rotten now that I'm financially secure.
Sulaiman 7894 You make me sick
Was anyone else amazed at how well his pizza cutter cut that pizza?
Jamie Mcintyre I got to that part as I read your comment
Holy shit that was weirdly satisfying
So satisfying
I need that pizza cutter
I knew a girl that worked in a flour mill for a big brand and said they also did Tesco value. Literally the same thing in a different packet.
A lot of store brand stuff is like that. Sometimes you can figure out what's what just by looking at the plant numbers on the packages, or comparing ingredients and seeing they are exactly the same.
fireyf yep! I do buy some stuff like basically essentials but not as much as I should!!
My dad worked for Bernard Matthews and basically did the same thing - some turkeys went to more expensive/posher outlets than others but all same, basically.
Same as Londis Belgian beer made in the same factory as Stella
Different products have different recipes, they're not the same
Get on that "essential" Tesco everyday value vodka, gin and rum
More Than I thought oh man tesco everyday vodka brings back memories of uni
brad wadsworth back in my day it was called Tesco Value. I actually think it's only been called Everyday Value recently though I'm not sure.
Back in the day we invented the Value Vesper, defined as "the cocktail James Bond would drink if he was on Jobseeker's Allowance"
You should do a second take on this video, Tesco value isn't around anymore, ms Molly, Stockwell and growers is their basic lines more. Would be interesting to see your thoughts on that
Prince William undercover
Meanwhile, I watched this while eating a slice of cheesecake for breakfast. I'm only commenting about it because cheesecake for breakfast is awesome.
Its not heatlthy to relate to this the amount i relate to this
Once upon a time, I decided the easiest way to count calories was to just eat a whole cheesecake per day. Cheesecake for breakfast was the best.. and I lost weight
100% madlad
I love cheesecake ur a legend
King amongst men !!
Could you possibly give us a total of what you spent on food you ate each day, I'm interested in what each day cost you.
Michael Robinson not gonna lie probably like 1 pounds fifty
That’s a good idea
about £5 for the week
Michael Robinson 😑
Chris Lau 😅😅
Those corn flakes are awesome and safe for ceoliacs (the barley malt extract is at a safe level according to Ceoliac UK) for those that are fed up buying the over priced free from cereals!
Thanks
I love the way he looked at the camera when said “sorry, cola.....”
The fact he didn't put the lid back on the cup noodle after pouring the hot water bothered the shit out of me
Dhana Dant what
As soon I saw him rip the whole thing off, I knew it was game over.
tbh he had a chance to redeem himself by placing it back on and putting a plate or something weighted on top of it
Tbf if its not the aluminium lid then its pointless.
You can make good meals out of non processed value items
Tesco Value crisps are really good.
Ice Cream Cookie totally agree with you I get them for me & my daughter she loves them, I buy most of the tinned food too and taste just the same, don't know why people are being so arsey about the value brand🙄
Ice Cream Cookie
Good for who! Lol
Disease on a plate... wait and see. Its just sheer laziness tins & packets are quick & require zero effort.
i cant believe how much healthier he looks here than he does now these days his skin has gone grey and he has rings round his eyes the poor sod lol
Between 1990-99
My mum shopped at Kwik Save so I had a lot of no frills food items
Bread, beans, crips, butter and more
My parents too , I lived to tell the tale ! Used to live Kwik save peppermint chocolate , 20p for a slab it was 👌
Same it was the days I didn’t mind the no frills. :)
Who cooks a Frozen pizza without rearranging the pepperoni?! gotta spread them out!
Tensen01 who even does that?!?
The fact he didn't arrange the pepperoni evenly made me die a little inside, 1/4 slice had 1 bit on and another 1/4 slice had about 5 bits on. THAT JUST ISN'T RIGHT!
It triggered my ocd 😂
it wasnt frozen the frozen ones come in box's that one was from the fresh section
usually frozen solid on top with really cheap frozen pizzas
The thing with ''value'' products, seem to be, for things say lemonade were you don't necessarily compare it to a particular brand, you just think, does it taste like lemonade, they are fine.
However things like coke, Oreos, certain cereals, were you always buy a particular brand, so will comparing to an exact brand, it's not as good.
Also the milk, just buy normal milk, no one buys that shit lol
Ryan Gelson there is no Tesco value "regular" milk, though there is Tesco's own non-value milk.
Lawrence Martin my point was, compare costs and it's irrelevant if it's tesco value, the standard tesco milk is 48p pl, the uht is 49p pl
Whilst it was all they stocked, no one actually buys the uht stuff, on a budget or not
michael browne the uht stuff is, I don't know anyone that buys that stuff regardless of brand unless they work somewhere that doesn't have a fridge.
Ryan Gelson also I bought uht milk once
i like the tesco milk chocolate over any other chocolate i would rather buy that than anything else.
It kind of seems like you failed to actually show how you can cook decent meals with Tesco value over just buying value ready meals.
That's because you can't cook decent meals with Tesco Value food.
@@shook_man_18 value pasta or rice, value passata, value kidney beans and some value herbs and spices and you've got a cheap, filling and nutritious meal.
@@MSV19801 I have value herbs in my cupboard lol and the regular spices are only ~60p per jar anyway.
It's not his job to do that.
Doesnt sound very entertaining
17p for a bottle of water, a size that big in america would be 3-4 DOLLARS!!!
Lamia Tarannum it’s nasty water tho 😂
@@KayKapone1 It isnt. Its literally water.
@@KayKapone1 what are you on about it Just tastes like normal water
You should go through how much each day cost you considering this is value food.
Thomas St. Clair probably about £2.50 for the full day
Excellent idea. I was just about to post the same thing before I read your comment.
They aren't that bad and most of the time are healthier than original brand foods
Who else up late watching food videos?
How is this so interesting??
Alia Alia ikr.
Alia Alia Exactly, like no one cares

Challenge - Live on M&S foods for a week and See how much money You have spent after the week
SlappingYourNans BaldAssHead i know its late but hahahhah
not all of us can afford that shit mate
Who has just a pot noodle for lunch I’d be so hungry
Broke college students
Quite a lot of people 😅
Resiak - you can get more for you money and make better food than buying a load of pot noodles bright people I think not
Matthew Horsfield why they are disgusting and you can make better
Are those other things as quick and easy to make?
Why are so many people annoyed in the comments? He's giving his honest opinion. I was raised on a pretty tight budget and not once did i feel like he was mocking the poor
I felt in love with Tesco Value Sparkling water, 17p. Not only super cheap but also really nice to drink! Great video!
Actually, as far as i know, the tesco value products are mostly normal midranged products with different packaging made by companies. Like as you have said at the cereal it tastes exactly the same as the other one, because it is the same. Here where i live it is written on the package that it is distributed by tesco and made by XYZ company. So if you search the same product (Cereal, noodles, crisps energy drinks etc) 99% you can find the same product with higher price in more fancy packaging.
You are correct. Many house-brand products are produced by the same facilities as name brands under contract from the retailer. Gives you an idea how much you're being overcharged just for the name on the package. In some cases, there may be differences in the recipes or ingredients specified by the retailer, some of which actually result in a (subjectively) superior product. Of course, the opposite can also be true -- some house-brand products can be truly abysmal. Try it and find out. Chances are decent that you can find a house brand that kicks your favorite name brand's ass and save yourself quite a bit of money.
For example, here in the US, IMO, Walmart "Great Value" brand "Rich and Creamy Macaroni & Cheese" beats the crap out of the Kraft name--brand product at a significantly lower price. The "cheese" sauce tastes better, there's twice as much of it, and the macaroni is much more robust -- shorter, larger diameter, and thicker walls -- so it doesn't shred like tissue paper when you mix it up. Even the bog-standard Walmart brand is on par (IMO) with Kraft and significantly less expensive.
I should point out: I'm not claiming that the Walmart brand is made by Kraft. I don't know, and it doesn't say on the box. Many of theses products do not reveal the actual manufacturer, probably part of the contractual agreement. My guess is the name-brand company doesn't want you to figure out how overpriced their own brand is.
The best example is biscuits. Just an example: Cheapo rich teas or digestives cost pence whilst McVities or whatever are significantly more and I'll tell you now, they're the fucking same. IIRC, someone once bought Lidl brand Hoola Hoop knockoffs and upon opening, actual legit Hoola Hoops were inside.
Morgenergy I usually eat Lidl copy oreos because oreo is absurdly overpriced and not that really good, the Lidl one is fine and the price is quarter of the oreos price...
Mike - a plastic bottle costs literally about 2 US cents to produce. 1 plastic bottle is made from a tiny drop of oil, it is a thin film easily stretched out.
Hathur you're avatar looks of thinly stretched oil
dreamindistortion your*... and I do not even speak english well...
and no its not only tiny drop of oil, its not lots of plastic but its way more than "tiny drop of oil", just bottle neck and lid is way more plastic...
Hideki Shinichi *it's ;)
Nekhet lol
Lmao
I love how he gave us a backstory on Tesco value
Genuinely amazing lol. Bringing back memories of childhood right here!
I made a guttural scream when you pulled that pot noodle lid all the way off.
Catyclept Same!🤣🙈
I know. What is this man DOING??!!
Thermodynamically the energy lost is very, very minimal. It's almost exactly the same as using the foil, a massive conductor, as a lid.
Sammeee
It's not just about heat loss though. Steaming the noodles rather than just boiling them has a major effect on their texture.
My Mum would buy Value stuff mixed in with regular brand items when she did the shopping.
My Dad however wouldn't go near the Value stuff if he did it.
He would buy all branded stuff even if it was the most basic of items.
They split up in the end.....
I never asked the actual reason why but i wonder if the dispute over Value brand products played a part in it.
Extend that one week to four years and you've got my time at the university 😂😂😂
Opening of the mouth. I become you. Unlawful possession
Is no one else disturbed by the fact he didn't spread the pepperoni out evenly on that pizza before cooking It?!?! 🤤
I always buy the Tesco value assorted crisps, I think there excellent.
I think they're shite
Me too I actually prefer them to the proper brands.
mmm crisps...
reminds me I need to go and lick the bottom of a deep fat fryer
Finally, a sane "week on"! Normal, if inexpensive, food!
I love it when people show their cats on youtube videos :D your cat is so cute and funny especially that wink hahahaha xD
I miss those prices :(
This is the whitest video I’ve seen today

Alex A Well then you're an idiotic Americanized Brit. In the UK almost everyone is white, and there are multiple groups of white people who all act completely different. There's no such thing as "acting white".
"Time for another 'Week On', and I bet you can't guess what I'm going to be eating this week..."
Actual food in proper portion sizes? Unlike other weeks like living on a single MRE ration kit a day (despite how they're supposed to be for a single meal), or some of those other terrible "diet" weeks where you make us all worry about your well-being by the end of it...
I was so scared for him during the juice one...
Yea... by half way through, he looked so gaunt :(
I've been seeing your videos on my recommended for a while now, and decided to give it a go and I must say - excellent video bro!
Really enjoyed this! Think it's a great idea for a video. Definitely subbed to you!
I always buy their 17p water! I used to buy their £1.50 laundry detergent, but they stopped selling it. At my store, at least.
A Waitrose everyday value item costs the exact amount that you payed in total each day
Don't you dare badmouth Tremors 2! I'll have you know Tremors 2 is an underrated gem of a sequel and is in fact my favourite of the series. Tremors 3 to 5 on the other hand...
I adore Tremors 2, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have some fun with it :)
I love Tremors 1-4 haven't seen 5
3 and 4 are still good, 5 is a terrible travesty
Don't get me wrong I'm excited for your review all the same. Keep up the good work!
Five is bad, has more worried about 6
Dude my family lives off this every month.
Robin Hadley same
Robin Hadley homeless wud not moan
Robin Hadley you mean you live off this daily and they do the shopping every month, or do yous like only eat once a month
Robin Hadley they do a wide range of own brand. If you trace back its the same as the big brands as left over.
Your nothing but a peasant freeloader
A little tip for your pot noodles, especially the ones with the foil lids, keep the lid on after adding the hot water so that it sweats more. 😊
Im sure you will enjoy this quite a bit. Its saves on the non branding but the food is perfectly fine. I buy some of these even now.
stingersplash Most of the value stuff is absolutely fine
Jaybie Dayy How is it junk food? Not everyone can afford the best brands
Jaybie Dayy water is not junk food. There is other stuff in tesco value that are not too bad for you
Jaybie Dayy Well not everyone has the basics of cooking like students who can't afford expensive food or cam afford to buy food to cook. You need to understand context, mate. And don't assume either - I cook everyday and buy fruit and veg I'm just saying some of my mates don't know how to cook and can't spend 97p on peppers when they can spend it on a shitty pizza that will fill them up 😂
Jaybie Dayy Okay I realise that arguing with you is just gonna be effort and I've got shit to do 😂 I'm not gonna eat vegetables like they're fruit they're different things lol and I'd rather cook them. Yeah some sacrifice eating healthy because of time and effort in favour of alcohol and drugs. It's their lives but I'm saying that some students who want to eat healthy can't etc.
I'm not sure why the noodles didn't taste of much to you; I like spicy food and found that they pack a decent kick. Tesco Value noodle pots shit all over Pot Noodle. Pot Noodle is tasteless and also inconveniently impacted into a solid block; Tesco Value ones are really nicely flavoured and come out better due to not being processed into a lump. Plus Pot Noodle is an utter rip off.
Go to farmfoods son. 59p each pot noodle
19822andy, but I don't like them. They have a flavour like the taste in your mouth when you've got a hangover. Plus the Tesco ones are twenty to thirty pence. I wish they had more flavours though.
19822andy this guy knows what he’s talking about 🙌🏻👌🏼
NotMostGirls did you see how little amount of noodles were in there?.
NotMostGirls he also said “absolutely zero flavour”
Love the tesco value sparkling water then I add summer fruits cordial tastes like fizzy Ribena
I have no idea why I'm entertained by this but I AM INTRIGUED
*smash cuts to Mike crying on the toilet
The onion rings are designed to be crushed and stirred into the pot noodle for flavour.
Correct!
Lmao
Gotta try that
Ew wtf

Yum water and corn flakes
0:23 "Fairly recently" Tesco rebranded it "everyday value" in Apr 12, so nearly 6 years before this video.
Lol it’s been rebranding like twice after this comment aswell
As a nursing student with a 4 year old...I legitimately buy half my shopping either Tesco/Asda value stuff or Aldi and im not even mad at most the stuff you can get 😂
The clear lemonade is freaking me out.
That's just normal lemonade a clear fizzy drink u can also get cloudy lemonade
59p for 12 pieces of packaging, somewhat sullied by crisps
FDK underrated comment
You know what's cheaper than bottled water? Tap water 🙂
Fun Fact: My Stepfather used to pick up the Tesco value Water from the Water Spring? Bottling Factory, were they are produced. They also produce the Highland Spring Water.
As a kid i mainly had food like this but the Tesco or Asda value crisps are amazing, i loved the cheese puff and salt & vinegar sticks, recently tried them again after a long time and i still liked them.
I’m worried... what happened to vegetables???
Less than a dollar Canadian for a box of cereal? Sorcery. Hoping his tesco value week includes more canned fruit and veg from now on though, I don't get how you can eat corn flakes, pot noodles, pizza, and crisps and call that a good day of eating.
My thoughts, too. No idea how he felt full after an entire day of no fibre. Must be some frozen fruit or veg, too, surely?
There is frozen fruit and veg in that brand in tesco... And even some fresh... I can only assume he doesn't like veg much?!
Congrads Mike for getting over 1 million views on this upload!
Haha what I like best about this video is he’s like Gordon Ramsay reviewing all the food

The tinned potatoes, cerial bars, water, and biscuits are quite good. I recall the bread being 3p back in the day.
I lived on tesco value for quite a while, not the junk side but the fairly healthy side. I'm 5ft1 and my weight was struggling to get above 7 stone, I had low B12 levels and awful IBS the entire time. The lack of variation in my diet and high sugar was playing havoc with my system.
Looking forward to watching how you get on.
All cereals are fortified, kellogs, nestle all of them. You have to keep UHT milk in the fridge once its open and treat like fresh milk.
I personally don’t mind Tesco Value stuff, living on a budget😂😂

Could you please do a living on aldi for a week or living on Lidl on a week? :)

Just come to my house...
First time coming across you and you seem so chill and laid back not like all up in people's faces like other youtubers I like it !!
Me and my partner have to buy value or basics, I have coeliacs so my food is stupidly expensive so we have to crunch back everywhere else.
Basics or value ranges are fantastic! They taste just as good as normal but so much cheaper! Really helps families like ours who haven't got the money to buy branded products or they're "special ranges"
There are some Tesco Everyday Value that generally taste alright, I would even pick the value over branded items sometimes if they taste decent! Yes some of it might taste rather crap but if it tastes alright, why not keep buying? Plus.. Saves money.
