In the Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood - a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind.
One of the absolute best renditions of this song. I never thought anyone could come close to Olga Merediz’ original version but this actress is absolutely up there right with her. Wish I could’ve seen this production (especially as a fellow SD native ! haha) in person because she is going to be a star I just know !!

That was absolutely beautiful! I had the joy of playing Abuela Claudia in San Jose five years ago and it was a life-changer for me. Analia, you have the vocal chops for this powerful song and you put across Abuela's strength and memories beautifully. It gave me goosebumps! Alabanza!
