God the first time I heard Usnavi with other high school productions I figured out that this must be Lin's or Lin must have starred in it. This was my very first musical movie, In the Heights i have to say, was a wonderful movie. I am usually a pessimist who likes dark movies, but this film had a lot of hope, love, and flavor. It had a sensibility that literally made me cry. It was vulnerable. The same day after watching it? My friend and I went to Washington Heights. Viva Fort Tryon Park! :) Summer 2021!

I cannot help but love the musical more than the movie. The order of the songs, the new plot... was bland. I prefer the original is way better.
