I enjoyed your garden tour today. I grew up on a farm so I know how much work gardening is. I’ve been watching for a long time. I enjoy your family being a part of your videos. Best wishes on your husband’s diabetic journey. My late husband was diagnosed with diabetes several years before he passed from dementia. God bless you and your family. Iona (i-on-a).
What a blessing ! Everything looks so good
Good morning!

Wow!!! You guys are hard workers!!! You really have that set up nicely! Represents a lot of work and determination!
Hi Larry and John! Your garden and yard looks great!
The Market Stand is beautiful. Somehow, when you talked about it in other videos I thought you took your goods to a Farmers Market and had a stand. Such a wonderful idea. Honor system is wonderful. Thanks for sharing...
Good Morning Folks☕️ I really enjoyed the tour of your homestead, it's wonderful~
Your greenhouse full of plants is really beautiful. I’m so jealous of the indigo buntings! I’ve always wanted to see one.
I love everything!
Thanks for sharing your tour ...it looks great!
I put in an herb garden next to the house that has a small hyacinth & our rain barrel. I used landscape roll bc I want it to be full of perennial herbs.
Busy lady. Thanks for the tour.
Luv the chickens.
Awaiting the bloom tour.
Hi John.
You all have your place looking good!
I'm exhausted just watching what all you do. Have a great gardening season.
Such a beautiful video Renea, full of warm love
I loved the tour of your homestead. I am not able to have a garden this year because of my health. But, I do support our local farmers and our Farmer's Markets. You have taught me so many new things about cooking and providing delicious meals for my family. Thank you for sharing your busy life with us. Have an awesome weekend.
What a beautifully productive outdoor space.
God bless you Renee I hope you had a great mother's Day 🦋🌷🏡🌷🦋 your backyard and your gardening everything looks nice 👍 and whoever is reading this stay strong stay blessed and never forget Jesus loves you with all his heart 💜🌷💜🙏📖🙏Amen🌷
Awesome tour
Beautiful, beautiful!!! I love "visiting"--I always learn something.
Thank you for sharing 😊
Everything looks great ❤
Great video! Everything looks great!!
Your green house is awesome!!!
Good Morning ☀️ ❤
What a beautiful place you have. I love it. And I love that you're able to run your market stand on the honor system. That would never work around here. I wish I lived in a small town.
Well, I was having trouble with kids but once I got the camera out there it stopped.
@@LittleVillageHomestead That's good. Someone always has to test you.
Love your garden and home. Miss not having chickens. Always canning everything in sight!!
Beautiful!! You guys have a great property. I love it. 💕🙏🙏
Renae your plants looks wonderful love seeing your place looks so beautiful you and John has worked so hard but it's a great job ❤️ Shelby
Good morning 🌄 !!
We will be coming down in a couple of weeks to do the Graves in Brethren. Hoping to maybe stop by the market stand and get some of your fabulous brownies and bread. My two favorites to watch.
Hello John and Larry! 🥰
Renea, where did you get that cute watering can rain chain? So cute
My daughter gave it to me. I love it. I want to paint it this year.
Your Homestead is beautiful! Hi Mr. Wayna! Today I filled up 2 plastic containers full of dirt, mowed our yard, made a rum pineapple bundt cake with a light glaze on it. I had a smidge to taste and mmm delicious. Have a good evening. Love & hugs Laurie from Waterloo, Indiana.
I love seeing your gardens especially since mine isn't gonna happen. I was successful in starting all my seeds and then my husband went to hospital. This is his 6th week. I don't think he's going to make it back to the farm. 😢
Prayers for your husband.
Ty so much@@clwaverider2769
Sending prayers and hugs to your husband, you, and your family.
💛 from 🇨🇦.
You are always in my prayers. I am so sorry and please keep us posted.
This is our second year using the Ruth Stoudt method with our potatoes. Learned some lessons last year. We laid a layer of straw down then a thick layer of our compost, then bone meal, fertilizer & seed potatoes then buried them. We had a lot of insect damage. It’s also been raining hard for a week, we’re hoping that layer of straw will keep them from drowning & rotting. We lost a good bit to green last year, so we’re layering it even thicker this year. I have everything in but my tomatoes & green peppers bc I got those seeds late. My Greenstalks are doing great! We have one with all lettuce & spinach on our porch. So nice grabbing fresh salad fixings! I planted True Black Brandywine & Brown Sugar Baker Creek seeds, they ALL germinated. I’ll be sharing some of those. I just don’t want to plant them til they’re a little bigger so I don’t lose them.
oh my goodness. It's a good job I'm in the UK because I'd never be out of your wonderful garden. ❤
Nice video thanks for the walkabout
Great video.
Renea, I have a question. When the tomatoes reach the fish heads you said they're gonna go bananas. How do they go bananas...I thought they are tomatoes! 🤣🤣
Your place looks so nice. I LOVE your market stand! When I was young I had a stand in our local beauty shop where I sold baked goods. I would have had a blast having a stand like yours. I know it keeps you busy but also understand the love of making all you put in it.
Lol. Cute. The tomatoes will go bananas. They will love the rotted fish heads for sure.
@@LittleVillageHomestead Yes they sure will! I just giggled when you said that-my mind goes to some goofy places sometimes!
What a beautiful little Homestead you have there I wish I didn’t live all the way in Canada cause I would shop at your house❤❤❤
I really admire you. Appreciate how hard you both work. You have a very cool little Homestead there. Wish we lived closer to you. We are in Northern Wisconsin. Your little store is adorable!! Loving your videos. Will keep waaatchinnn!! ❤❤❤. Also, when do you put your tomato plants out there?
I plant everything Memorial weekend.
Amazing❤
Thank you for the tour of the gardens and the market stand. You are busy as a one armed paper hanger 😂
Hi.lots.of.tham.❤❤❤👍👍
I love to dig potatoes. Everything looks great
Amazing homestead. You never stop. Do you ever have trouble with people not paying at the food stand? I would shop there all the time. Mr. Wayna is looking healthy.
Beautiful and blessed to be a blessing! I’m curious about nasturtiums, what are they used for? I hear you can eat the flowers. I’m just getting started on herbal remedies so checking out what I should plant
Renea, your homestead is beautiful. Can't imagine taking care of all those plants. Wish I had a market stand in my neighborhood. The gardens aren't fenced in, so do you have problems with dogs, cats and other animals eating the vegetables?
I made your hobo bread, it is delicious 😋
Oh, I love that stuff too.
Good morning ❤❤
Fences make for good neighbors
I truly agree.
Have you tried small freezer meals for the stand or is it allowed?
That's an interesting thought. Especially in the cold seasons.
I can, however, it has to be prepared in a licensed kitchen. Our community center has a licensed kitchen, so I get to go there to prepare some foods.
That will be wonderful for winter or fall. Put it in the oven on a cool fall day. Summer everyone is out of the house and eating fast foods because they aren’t home. Fall and winter that all stops.
Could you do us a favor for us beginners. You were showing your oregano can you teach us and explain to us when to pick it. I'm growing thyme, and parsley, and oregano So I'm just learning. God bless Love watching you and the homestead 🙏
Yes I can.
Good morning your homestead and market stand look so beautiful! You work hard to keep everything looking so lovely even in the in between seasons like now when it’s still to early to plant a lot of your flowers and veggies. I thought you were putting up a high tunnel? What happened to that? Or am I getting you confused with another channel? I’m surprised that you sell your peanut butter cookies two for a dollar I would think .25 cents per two pack would still bring a tidy profit, but I don’t know I’m sure you’ve calculated it all and the packaging I’m sure isn’t cheap either.
.25 for two big homemade cookies ? No profit there, lol...that wouldn't even cover the cost of ingredients, electricity, gas, or labour 🙄
@@PinkSlippers70 that’s why I said I didn’t know but it seems to me the most expensive part in the cookies is the jar of peanut butter and then the flour, the eggs come from her backyard. But like I said I could be wrong. Just seemed high to me. I get the brownies being that expensive because there is a lot of cocoa powder and butter and eggs that go into them and sometimes peanut butter. Anyway just my opinion.
@@leannekenyoung The eggs that 'come from her back yard' are not free....do you know how much it costs to house , maintain and feed chickens?....I'd gladly pay a dollar or even 1.50 for 2 of those huge homemade cookies....have you gone to a bakery lately?
@@PinkSlippers70 no I bake my own that way I know what ingredients are in my baked goods.
I may have missed it, but how much do you sell your eggs for? Around here, the prices are all over the map.
Mine are always 3 dollars a dozen.
that's nice. but now you have a job to get them to roost in your coop. or do they 'sleep over at Larry's? lol I like your Market stand, it's modest. maybe even quaint , yet Heartwarmingly full of goodness. -NY Times Review. LOL
Thanks. Larry would love to have the chicks in his fenced in rea because they eat the tics. lol
@@LittleVillageHomestead I haven't tried that, I planned to; it's an extra step for me (don't have an automatic door), Sort of have a long property. But I planned to do that. Why not? Eat the deer ticks girls!!
😊❤❤🙏
How many acres do you have? I can’t believe how big your eggs are. Wowza😊
we have 1-1/2 acres.
Your market stand, payment is on the honor system. How's that working out for you? Do you even break even?
Well, I do more than break even. I have a camera that captures everything and every angle too.
@LittleVillageHomestead That's good. makes me happy to know your generosity has not been taken advantage of.
How many acres do you have, in town!!
