Always loved Bob, Jerry and Junior's solos here. And Muddy gets his licks in. One of the greatest blues bands of all time, and my personal favorite. Fuzz and Willie were one hell of a rhythm section. The interplay between Muddy and Pinetop. They all had a great time, and so did we.
I'll never forget seeing Muddy with most of this band in Tucson, Arizona mid-1970's, except no Johnny Winter - the second guitar, beside Bob Margolin, was a black cat named "Luther". I remember noticing how great the band was, especially the guitar players, and Muddy Waters played some screaming slide too. The entire audience was slowly worked-up into a collective orgasm, like only Muddy can do! I'll NEVER forget that night - I was high for weeks after that...
I'm not a critic, or some people with some exceptionnal talent to judge this one. This band was pure magic to me. I would just insist on Fuzz and Willie 's work. Please bassmnen -womenz & drummers that' s the way to follow. "Delay time", strengh and elegange. No other way.( Oh my how muddy give us SOUND).
WWPotter974 I’d have to guess 1978-1981.Pinetop Perkins on piano, Willie “Big Eyes “ Smith on drums. This was the time Johnny Winter produced & played on 3 Muddy Waters albums. Saw them live at the Tower Theater outside of Philly ,
Bob is an amazing musician! What a thrill it was to back him up!
Going to see Bob Margolin this Friday Night. I'm so excited for sure. ❤🔥🤘

I saw this on a cable tv network about 2003 and I believe they dated it 1978.
the network was called Ovstion. I don't know if it still on air.
Ovation, sorry I misspelled it.
