Don’t worry! The main playthrough continues! This series is just a fun little side adventure I wanted to share with Merlon, since he hasn’t gotten to play much BG3 yet (and we usually play these games together). You can keep up with the main playthrough here: Baldur's Gate 3 (Main Playthrough - Bellathyne) ruclips.net/p/PLsoql4wxPz8404wxbCbbRvM-WSminmM7S
Uhhh, is so fun to watch. Wich is honestly quite surprising to me, because so far I haven't been able to watch any Multiplayer play-through past the 15 minute mark. They are unfortunately often so chaotic and all over the place, people talking over each other and the dialogue. But watching you two play and discover this beautiful game together is so awesome. I love how you both roleplay your characters and work so well with each other. Would love to see more of this if you are are having fun with it too.💕
That was so tense and epic near the end -- I would've just bailed and run straight for the transponder, but you guys actually stuck it out, got the sword and left alive, that's AMAZING! Clutch D&D nat 20 moment right there!
I just noticed that the reason why Casamir wasn’t able to Burning Hands the Brain Puppy before it sprouted legs is because it’s host succeeded their saving throw. A second one might have actually prevented the whole conversation that he was not willing to have in the first place. Really love how both of you play your characters.
I love the idea of having the actual character sheets available when recreating an actual play character! But I want them to give us goblins as a playable race, so I can recreate my barbarian.
When I first heard Kasimir, I was instantly redirected to Cazador. I was like, damn, Astarion is not going to react to that name well. My sun elf Paladin almost approached the brain puppy the same way as Kasimir. I find it so cute how both of you have your two characters are like. My late partner, she was into Drow, and introduced me further into DND, I did player Neverwinter Knights 1 and 2 before that and non DND games based off DND rules like KOTOR. So your Bellathyne reminded me of that. I am sure we would have been playing with her being a Drow Sorceror, and myself as a Sun Elf Paladin.
You didn't have to kill the cambion to get his sword. Shadowheart could have used Command: Drop instead. Lowish chance of success, but better than trying to burn through some many hit points
Throwing a potion of speed on the mindflayer was a great idea. i would never have thought of that. Hopefully i'll remember for my next playthrough but doubtful since this third playthrough im on now is going to be my last for a while.
For my first bg3 playthrough i used a character from a one shot that i didnt get to use again to continue his story, building it from the sheet like you did here.
Oh, you're going to have a time as a Paladin in this game. BG3 leans very much into the Lawful Stupid alignment; you're going to have to charge headfirst into danger against all reason and sense of self-preservation.
First off, its never an issue because any dialogue/decision that breaks a paladins oath can simply be handled by another character to avoid that. Secondly, the oath doesn't impact how the vast majority of players play anyway. Pretty much every encounter in this game is balanced so you can take on combat head first. Maybe you like sneak attacking enemies, sure sometimes Paladin blocks that, but most people take the first opportunity to jump into battle whenever given the chance and don't bother setting up combat at all.
@@yeahr1ghty Yeah, in fact another playthrough I'm enjoying (surrealbeliefs), is a paladin one and is being done very much the opposite of lawful stupid. Though, granted, the paladin there is oath of vengeance, which has built in nuance for picking your battles and focusing on the greater threats. Ancients is also a departure from the lawful stupid alignment, though. Unrelatedly, if Halsin wasn't a druid, he'd be a good Ancients paladin IMO.
Just so you know. I got a couple of "Contact you through telegram messages" from what looks like your account. These are fake but since you are a RUclips publisher you might have a way to contact support you get rid of these guys. Thanks.
Are you comfortable sharing what platform this happened on? I've been reporting and removing each comment individually here, but unfortunately, I can't block the account since RUclips removed that function. 🙃

"Is there a benefit to taking them?" "They fit in your pockets...." Had my cackling 😂😂
Seriously. Nearly everything in this game can be sold for cash later at a vendor. Kills me when people don't realize this.
All hail to Us, the true hero of the story! You will be missed. That's some unexpected epic D&D shenanigans right there.
Kasimir just casting Burning Hands on the human body of Us had me rofl
This whole time i was praying for Us to survive. not only they survived but they also saved the day and got the sword. best brain puppy ever

Really love how both of you play your characters.
"Our freedom is ours" sounded just like "I'll feed him his arse" to my ears.
4:51 Eeeeee I didn't know you liked The owl house as well. That's so cool! :D

I wanna play my kobold barbarian XD
"can you talk to the other brain puppy with our brain puppy?"
the face said "oh s--t I didn't think of that"

I was so happy when it dropped first time. Lae'zel has been loving it since.
Command is the easiest way yo get the sword.
This is awesome!
Amazing final combat! Well done
Glad to see you back! I thought you had stopped your BG3 campaign. Well, at least you are re-starting it with ya fella! Nice to meet him.
1:00:25 this was golden :D

"oh my god! It's adorable! ... well, time to waste it." loved the tfs reference there =)

Before this battle ready command with Shadow heart command has 50 percent shot to get the sword
Are you still continuing to upload your first playthrough? I was enjoying watching it (if not it's okay I was just curious)
You should have switched Shadowheart's spells so she could command the devil to drop his sword.
Loved the owl house bit lol 4:49
good going getting that sword!

you needed Shadowheart Bless spell.
Brain puppy!!!
We're Mario and Luigi Superstar Sagaing this one, huh? Just two adventurers going forth
Your dungeon master eh 😏
@ the brain puppy. 2 or 3 more hit points of burning hands would have done the job of murdering.
