It was during the ...And Justice for All era. They finally started to play some classics they haven't played in a while or even before during the Madly in Anger with the World tour. It blew my mind that they played the full version of Orion. Rob rocks.

I think that this was a performance right after comeback. You can compare this for example '09 Nimes show, nowadays they are again back in the top. I've seen them live 3 times, '04, '07 and '09 and the improvement has been huge.

I blame that on a sound guy. I guy from a forum said if you notice on the live metallica stuff. Its being released like a day after it was played live meaning the sound mixer guy didn't really put much time in to the drums or anything. but yeah cool cool.
okay jason sings a few lines ever, james sings every song for every show practically, now you see why jasons seems as if he can growl better, give james a decades break with nothing but rigorous training and see where it take us xD

I saw them in 2003 in Seahawks stadium in Seattle and they were way better with pyrotechnics and shit, but I wouldn't complain if I was at this one they fucking kick ass!
whats a pearlstipe? here the drums are really mixed that well like recording wise I'm sure if you or me were there the sound would have been crazy. And lars would have kicked our ass.
