this is absolutely freakin amazing. cant wait to see them in concert!!!!!!! Still wish that jason was in the band tho. Jasons energy and his growl gave the vocals an amazing heavynesssss. LONG LIVE METALLICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
today, was one of the worst days of my life, i thought about ending it all. i listened to this song. and i can honestly say. this song; and metallica saved my life. Thank you
Bro I hope you're still good. Feelings are fleeting and they DONT define the rest of your life. Just keep going and there's always another day. I love you. Stay strong, keep going, and never stop being a heavy metal family member. We need you.
man, Jason fit that band perfectly, attitude on and off the stage. He knew how to get a crowd pumped!! They lost a lot of their energy when they lost Jason. I mean, Rob is good, but no Jason.
Concerst i wish i were at, 1985 metallica concerst, 1986 metallica ozzy ( puppets tour ) concerst, 1987 gothenburg, 1988 monsters of rock, 1989 seattle, 1991 moscow, 1992 san diego, and so on! Epic performance ;o epic jason!
Lars made the real difference in this song. So fucking attitude and feeling. Joey Jordison can play with more accuracity, But the feeling is everything. Lars always has that thing and thats one of the reason of what Metallica is and was. The other is Metrónomo James. A real beast. Sorry my english
Jason is really missed, he really was one of the key purveyors of the energy in Metallica's performances. From providing amazing back-up vocals upto his amazing presence on stage. No offence to Rob, but Jason just fit the role great, pity the other guys treated him like dirt
I have my period and im.on the verge of tears watching this because metallica or indeed metal.will never be this.awesome again. I was born.twenty years too late and that's so sad :(
creeeeeeeeeeping deaaaaaaaaaath - nice intro james. one of the best live shows in history and one of the great songs from 'tallica. and yea, they ruled the f-cking world in 89-92
This is the best performance of this song ever. Jason was the ideal bassist for this time- he really added a new dimension to their stage presence, right as they were getting huge. If not for Jason, they never make this big of an impact on live music. Although, having seen Rob play, you can't take ANYTHING away from his ability. If you think Rob doesn't stack up, you either haven't seen them play recently, or have your head buried in the deepest darkest parts of your ass
It actually talks about Moses and the Plagues... The band were watching an old film about Moses, and after watching the bit with the Angel Of Death, Cliff Burton went, "Whoa, it's like Creeping Death!" The others liked this phrase, so they made it into a song which is the one that graces the ears and souls of all Metallica fans out there! :-D
Awe-Youth, Metallica were great. I saw them in the 80's. They were totally entertaining. (Masters, In justice, and The Black Album w/snake). They were definitely the "tightest" in the late 80's early 90's. Every great band sees their "hayday" come and go.
Jason is like a fucking madman here, i love it, i really miss his energy, and his vocals. For some reason i just seem to hear the bass so much more clearly in these old videos.
Every member's share of the brilliancy of this performance:
Lars 25%
Kirk 25%
James 25%
Jason 125%.
Jason # 1
Jason #1
Jason just gets randomly mad in this song, awesome as fuck
5:27 "So let it be written, so let it be done. I was sent here by the chosen one"
Cliff sent Jason to keep Metallica going.
But he couldnt keep them metal so he left. End of story.
Jason is the heavier and brutal bass player that Metallica can ever get.
🤟🤟🏽
Si tenés razón
Simon.
En 2023 sigues teniendo razón
Jason was probably the best LIVE bassist i've ever seen or heard. From playing to vocals and just his awesome style.....no one compares.
3.29 till 3.49 what a performer on stage

Hands down their greatest concert, James’s voice had so much power here.
this is absolutely freakin amazing. cant wait to see them in concert!!!!!!! Still wish that jason was in the band tho. Jasons energy and his growl gave the vocals an amazing heavynesssss. LONG LIVE METALLICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy dam jerry and harry?
Jason was and always will be the only man who can make this song the best its ever been live.
His backup vocals were brilliant as was his headbanging.
jason is the best!!!! he was such a beast!!! and his backing vocals were great! i would love to see jason and scott ian together on stage
la mejor cancion de metallica, en uno de los mejores conciertos que han realizado. !!!
deacuerdo contigo, y definitivamente esta pieza Jason la hacía mas poderosa

the band isnt the same without Jason
I love when Jason jumps around at 3.30 !
man, Jason fit that band perfectly, attitude on and off the stage. He knew how to get a crowd pumped!! They lost a lot of their energy when they lost Jason. I mean, Rob is good, but no Jason.

EPIC METAL GODS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM!
When Metallica was hot shit. And the vocals (especially Jason's) was cash.
I was at this show for my 20th birthday. Epic.
Jason!!!!

Lars did swing , some of the snare fills are really Ian Paice / Pete boot / Bill ward
Filliated
all bow down..
best metal band in history of mankind..
I can't believe that next year Metallica would be a word for more than 30 YEARS AROUND THE WORLD!
Jason is really missed, he really was one of the key purveyors of the energy in Metallica's performances. From providing amazing back-up vocals upto his amazing presence on stage. No offence to Rob, but Jason just fit the role great, pity the other guys treated him like dirt
Great bass tone, always tried to simulate it but never sucessfully
Fuck your self
There is no bad comment I could ever think of for this video, it's that awesome!
I saw Metallica first time in Fab 1987 - GREAT!!!!
The best song by Metallica ever!!
My god I love this song! It makes passover metal. and this version is from my hometown in the year of my birth. so much win
All the heavy metal albums, all the rock songs, all the music ever recorded and released Metallica kicks in the ass with only this song! \m/
these guys are just timeless and amazing, everyone who likes metal ever will like these guys
I have my period and im.on the verge of tears watching this because metallica or indeed metal.will never be this.awesome again. I was born.twenty years too late and that's so sad :(

I FUCKING LOVE JASON NEWSTED SO MUCH! WHAT A LEGEND
creeeeeeeeeeping deaaaaaaaaaath - nice intro james.
one of the best live shows in history and one of the great songs from 'tallica.
and yea, they ruled the f-cking world in 89-92
This is the best performance of this song ever.

I love it how James always stops to do that little laugh after the intro. Cracks me up every time
I can't believe I almost watch this a million times.
why?..why was i born in this year?! i should be born like in 74 to be able to witness this phenomenon thats is Metallica
Shiiitttt, I'm getting old, I was there, 20 years ago, good time thou :)
It actually talks about Moses and the Plagues...

My neck is hurt... but it was worth of it!!! \,,/ Metallica4life!!!!
Jason. what a beast!
If I had a time machine, I would travel back in these years and I would attend every Metallica concert to watch them in their prime!
3:27 is probably the most epic thing I have ever seen. The way James and Lars go up is definition of metal.
Jason really made this song kick even more ass live.
god I would kill to be 20 years older and have seen them back then. although i saw them last year and they rocked!
The only thing that can erase Metallica from our memories is.... A Creeping Death!!!!!!! Hell yeah!
Whenever i see this concert .....i MISS JASON SO BADLLLLLYYY !!!
This is the best live performance of Creeping Death IMO
Metallica at their best. Jason
Saw them 6x on this tour was on ever night Gd old days
Jason Fit with Metallica so much plus he was in Metallica for 15 years!!!!
Metallica por siempre 2023🤘🏿
This is in my opinion the best live video from Metallica, so powerful
Awe-Youth, Metallica were great. I saw them in the 80's. They were
totally entertaining. (Masters, In justice, and The Black Album w/snake).
They were definitely the "tightest" in the late 80's early 90's. Every great band

This is the most bad ass video i have ever taken the time to watch
goddamn i get chills before james plays the main riff...fuck yeah
This is just F*CKING awesome. Have to get copy of this consert one way or another. Sounds just godlike.
This is the great strength of Metallica
San Diego 92 was one of the best preformances ever
amazing!!!! would love to see them play with this energy again.
great!!! :) i like that part in the begging when james stop after the intro :D
Metallica is one of the few metal bands that can sound perfect in Live. Respect for that!!
nice catch!
They played two nights in San Diego back to back.. It's possible that stuff happens in other spots, too.
I get fucking chills watching this!!! Best live band ever!!!
i will travel from denver to tennessee ..just to see them on the 14th of sep ....i cant wait to see DIE DIE DIE ,,,,
the best band in the history
You don't needed to be there to feel THAT ENERGY from the stage
Absolutely amazing. Best live performance of CD! PERIOD!
Actually Live Shit was recorded in 1989 on the Damaged Justice tour and in San Diego in 1992 during the Wherever I May Roam tour. So this is 1992.
this has to be the most epic performance of creeping death on youtube!
Metallica's best performance I've ever seen
the true legend...
i fucking love jason's back vocals. it's like a huge ass dog barking at something ready to eat !!
Jason is like a fucking madman here, i love it, i really miss his energy, and his vocals.
For some reason i just seem to hear the bass so much more clearly in these old videos.
SICK live version...
Awesome song played on awesome song
The Golden Years.
Every day i wake up, thinking about the fact that i missed out on Metallica's early tours.
