The problem returned 3 months back... Apology for late update.
I will comment each of you back once I find the solution, that's the reason I am not deleting the video.

Hello - I have a 2009 e70 which has the same problem with the vents intermittently opening and closing. I have had the problem for over 2 years now. I have replaced the battery twice due to other undiagnosed problems (something is draining the battery, not fixed yet) but the AC vent issue still exists. I have not tried disconnecting / reconnecting the vent yet. Do you have any suggestions?

If u tried new battery then no use of disconnecting and connecting back. Better to disable the vent motor using Autel or any other capable computer

It started to open and close by itself after 2 or 3 months of use. I missed to delete the video, sorry

Having the exact issue on my f10 530d.. i had the battery disconnected for 1 week because i was doing some mechanical work.. when i reconnected rhe battery this issue came about. Swapped the battery, did a recalibration and re address of the flaps and its still present.. just gonna live with it..
Also just wanted to know if you coded the battery after changing it?

@@muzzammildeen901 disconnecting the actuator connector was a good workaround for about 2 weeks. One day suddenly the car started overheating and when I checked the water pump was not turning ON. I thought it might be a water pump issue, so I worked on that and finally found out that the AC vent connection has some BUS line relationship with the Water pump!!! Doesn't make sense. If it had to do something with WP it should have given the overheating message from the time I disconnected, but it acted as AI 😅😅😅😂

@Afeeftechworks It's really annoying.. trying to live with it is difficult.
I noticed that I have a fault code for the infamous AUC sensor so I'll order that part and change it.. then I'm also going to register my new battery to the car.. old battery wasn't bad at all but I changed it hoping it'll resolve flap issue.
The mechanical work that I carried out to the car (for the week before this issue started) was, clean intake manifold, egr, intake valves and the coolant flange that connects to the head was leaking so I had to remove alternator and ac compressor to do this job.
When I was done with everything, I reconnected the battery and bled the cooling system and that's when I noticed the clicking from the vent. So I'm quite sure the vent isn't mechanically broken but there's some weird electronic issue going on
