    I'm goind to look for the donate button on this one.
    I solved the issue on my Omen by pressing the button for little more than one minute. Every window's community post i've seen focused on doing it multiple times or for few seconds.

    Fantastic and helpful! I had called H P technical support a while back and they gave me very similar advice. Many of the sites that I was looking at was recommending holding power button for 5-10 seconds, which wasn’t helping and seemed too short compared to the online phone tech recommendation a few years back. Unplugging and holding down for the full minute worked perfectly… thanks so much! Saving this video so that if/when I have the same issue again, I will be able to cut through the BS and find the answer quickly. 😂Thanks Again! ❤❤❤

    After watching your video fixing the black screen problem I wish I had an Omen laptop instead of an Omen PC. I believe it would have helped. However the only one of your fixes I could try was twice holding the start button in for 60 seconds, which did not make a difference. The problem started after I had done a very large amount of work on the Omen transferring photo files (originals and processed) and I turned it off to clear it but when I started it up again the screen was black. I did see a small notice in the lower right corner that a NVIDIA something could not be found which I intended to try to fix when I turned the Omen back on. The monitor does comes on. Both are plugged into a high quality power strip along with a laptop and 2 printers, all of which power on. I do not use this computer for gaming but for photo processing. Do you have any suggestions for getting it working again?

    Hey, i was getting my battery and fans replaced on my Hp omen 15 2020 , after putting the new fans and battery there's no power indication when i plug in the charger to the laptop, nor is it turning on, I've checked that the battery is connected properly, and the charger is also working fine, please help, do you think the technician damaged the motherboard while removing the battery,fans and heat sync? It was turning on before installing the new fans and battery, I'm really scared

      1. I always recommend that people turn on and try their computer in the computer shop before taking it home. You dont know how many times I hear about people taking their computers home and them not working :(
      2. Yes, if the computer turned on and worked well before the new parts were installed and didnt turn on after, something could have been damaged or at least made loose. I would talk to them about it first. See if they can do anything. If not, I would open it up and make sure everything is plugged in correctly and not loose.

      @@PC_Monkeyye the mechanic in the store only tried turning it on after installing the new parts(fan and battery) but it didn't, nor the power indicator for charger was glowing, he has now sent it to someone ina different city to get checked, i don't think so he has damaged the motherboard or anything while taking the fans,battery and heat sync out because i was standing there, but he did took out the motherboard to check when the laptop didn't turn on, and to his knowledge he had everything connected properly but said he's sending it to someone who has more expertise, here the mechanics are not that skillfull because its a small city, i just hope my motherboard is okay, do motherboards get damaged very easily? Like he was quite careful while opening the laptop, i think something might be loose which he's not able to identify, what do u think might be damaged which may lead to this (power indicator not glowing when charger is connected, nor is the laptop turning on). @PC_Monkey I suspect an overheat. Just gaming as usual and the frame rate oddly slowed, followed by an abrupt turn off.
      I've done everything in the video multiple times up to the BIOS reset, as it seems I'm not going to be able to do that step. Interior is clean, fans look good, battery isn't warped or damaged.
      The laptop is 100% unresponsive at every step. No lights turn on, no fan starts running. Can't identify if it's the power supply, battery or motherboard.

    • @PC_Monkey
      @PC_Monkey  11 месяцев назад

      @@diagorasofmelos9283 1. Bummer :( Sorry it wasnt something easier :(
      2. If, after all these steps, you have not been able to find the issue, your most likely looking at a faulty component preventing the motherboard from working or a motherboard issue. I would start troubleshooting each component, starting with the charger and power jack. You can see those two videos here; ruclips.net/video/YBhsVHideGE/видео.html & ruclips.net/video/HpabvrNaodU/видео.html. You can also try replacing other components like your Power Button to see if that is the route cause. If none of those are the issue, you would then be left with a motherboard replacement.
