    Manu had a killer euro step.
    Usually the euro step is in low speed, but manu was doing it while he's in full speed.

      @@T-Blur In the US maybe, but the euro step exists in Europe for more than 4 decades. I've seen it in the 80' in our league.
      It wasn't that smooth back then tho lol
      But i think the name of the move was said only after he did it in the nba. Not sure about that

      @@TheThugNasty in Argentina? Wow, I became a fan only when he was playing for Viola RC. That was way before the Dirk revolution, but still most guys in Italian message boards were considering him an NBA level talent. I was very surprised he went so late in the draft. Then during his time with Virtus he grew so much (and not so early in his career, showing how coachable he was) that to me was clear he was going an All Star

    Manu was hands down one of the greats. Simply amazing. As a Mavs fan I fucking HATED the Spurs, but you had no choice but to respect them, from Pop, to Duncan, to Ginobli, and even Parker. Ginobli most definitely made his mark on the game, but the sad part is that even then he still won't get the credit he deserves for the way he impacted the game.

      This by itself shows he had a drive 1,000% bigger than anyone else. Any other player would had demanded to be traded and even the fact he was a sixth man is not very well known in Argentina, otherwise, those fans would had torched the Spurs organization for not letting him be a starter.

    I was born at the right time. I got to see Manu do his magic as a season ticket holder with the Spurs. My only regret was that I didn’t live life the way he played.

      I’d also put Vince Carter and TMac on that NBA 75 list. Forgot to mention them ‘cause their inclusion seemed so obvious to me, I thought if Damian Lillard and Westbrook and Anthony Davis are on that list, then TMac and VC should also have made it. Same goes for Manu and Pau Gasol, both incredible team players, champions and lifelong winners on every stage: NBA, European Leagues and Olympics/World.

      @@angelvega6400 I think that is what gets missed in basketball. It takes a lot maturity to for a player to reflect on their skills and abilities that on paper make them into a primary scorer for any other team. But he embraced the efficient bench role behind the consistency of Tim Duncan knowing that the Spurs have what it takes to compete at a high level. And he will have his big moments where he will just do what he does best.

      @@patricksantino4131 his made/miss shot ratio is almost identical to Kobe's. Kobe's was just 1/2 points higher when u take into account mins played on the floor. Meaning:👉 "Manu's on court production was almost as good as Kobe's." During this time.💯✌️

    The Spurs wouldn't have five championships if it wasn't for him. Plus the game in Miami the referee made a bad call otherwise we would have six. They played the film in Miami got an extra shot at the end of the game to win it which never should have happened. But anyway ginobili was unstoppable when he wanted to score. He's a combination of Allen Iverson Kobe and other very fast creative players I don't think anyone was really as creative as ginobili, you could ask the other players on the other teams and they would tell you the same thing

    But can you imagine if the Bulls were to use MJ from the bench only when they needed him the most?
    For example the year MJ wasn't there, just ad MJ as a sub on that team.

    There was nothing controlled about Manu lmao. He airballed so many open shots and threw so many bad random passes…. But he hit shots and made passes that nobody else in the world could. Timmy was the King but Manu was our heart and Soul. First ballot.

      @@taddymason7669 True, that’s what made him a nightmare, the guy was scary to guard cause he simply didn’t give a shit how tight you guarded him, he still could make shots no one has business making.
      Him being a sixth man made him even more of a scary guy, imagine being up 12 and resting your starters and this guy gets your whole bench in foul trouble and catches you with your pants down. Iconic.

      when he was in his zone he was controlled, which is why i think tony said that. but you're right, he was like that. he would shoot airballs and throw passes into the stands. but i find it more admirable than a guy that stops shooting or handling the ball because of misses or turnovers. manu was always gonna roll the dice. ended up a first ballot hall of famer
