great job mate, enspired me to get my finger out and finish the restore job on my bike would love to see the bike all back together after the paint job keep painting some shit!
Nice job... bikes are wat I do gud see u do a bike u make it look sooooo easy....watchin u do ur thing makes me wanna get out and paint some shit!! Lol wud like to see u do more bikes in the future, Uncle Nut from St.louis mo.
Wow. That blue metallic paint looks like it covers much better than when using aerosol cans. I used nearly 2 cans of color (blue metallic) just on my fairing ('07 SV650S). Looks like a spray gun would have been a better idea.
Does it really only take like 30 mins to paint motorcycle fairings? I'm watching this preemptively as I am setting up a paint booth and have paint coming in to paint mine, I though it would be a 3 day thing at least
Another great video. I was wondering why you did not have to play adhesion promoter on the plastic parts? Thank you and hello from San Francisco, California.
Hi gunman I’ve painted my bikes plastics with Adhesion promoter than 2K undercoat . But while rubbing back the 2K I’ve had a rub through to the plastic in a few spots what do you recommend I paint on those bits before basecoat
I see in some of your video you wear different face masks, im not sure if you have a review video of the different types of masks that you have and which ones works best for the project your working on? my question is what kind of mask do you recommend for a beginner or for someone who doesn't paint as often. thanks again for the Great content.
trying to paint mine and as soon as I shot a clear basecoat, it immediately bubbled up like i put paint stripper on it.... guess i have to remove all the paint.... ughh
Just wondering why you do blast air onto the parts just before you filler them. Does it not go onto the other freshly painted parts? First I thought that you do not worry since it was only the filler coat and you would have the chance to sand it out. But you did not, did you?
Hi Gunman!! I hope youre doing alright mate? I'm in Brissy and getting ready to spray a motorbike myself. I know this vid was 3 years ago, but your video has really helped me to get my tactics together for it. I just have a few questions please mate? 1). What is the "wet on wet" primer sealer you used, or whats easy to get a hold of here in QLD? 2). does it require sanding before base, or can i just spray base straight over it? 3). If i use a 2 pack Nardo Grey, will i have to go over it with clear, or is the gloss built into the 2 pack paint? my apologies if these seem like amateur questions. Cheers mate. p.s. love your vids man 🤙
Very helpful video brother. I have few questions brother. I have my bike in India, body colored plain red. Paint condition is good. But, I want to paint it Pear White. If you want to see bike search my bike “TVS Apache RTR 180” so that you can have a look on size of bike and recommend me the quantity of each type of product. I never did paint job before, but I wanted to do it and change color of my bike. Should I get it done from professional painter or can I do it on my own? Waiting for your kind reply. Thank you God much bless
Awesome video Gunman! :)) few questions: should I use "wet on wet" primer instead of basic primer on motorcycles because of the complex details and hard spots to sand? As I see "wet on wet" will be way faster as I'll skip sanding the primer. What about "wet on wet" with 3stage pearl? And how about pinstripping? After I lay wet on wet and base coat, can I use tape on it, it won't take the primer off? And the last question: as the end result, the gloss is the same with "wet on wet" ? Thanks :)
Hi, can you make it clear for me? I have some doubts... The primer is the same as the adhesion promoter? If not, what adhesion promoter do? Primer first? Then adhesion? Then paint? For the tank, do you use same primer? (it's ok plastic primer, for metal?) And tell me please those stepes are correctly for painting. 1. Sanding 2. Clean 3. Primer (2-3 coats) (10-15 minutes between coats?) 4. Let it dry 5. Base paint (2-3 coats ) (10-15 minutes between coats?) 6. Let it dry 24h 7. Clearcoat (2-3 coats) (10-15 minutes betweencoats?) If you want it more clear 8.Wetsanding 9.Clean 10. Clearcoat (1-3 coats) ? Please tell me where i'm wrong :D Thank you in advice :D
Hello, Gunman! Qurious what kind of hardener (medium or slow) do you use for sealer and clear? What about the oerspray on close located parts? What temperature in a spraybooth?
Bos your noodle for primer 1.?? Basecoat 1.??? Clearcoat 1.?? Im newbie in gun paint!!!can u deserve me what noodle gun u to spray. Sori my eglish bad..im from malaysia
You base your gun tip size (noodles you eat, haha) with the paint you get. It will specify what size is correct for the product you are spraying (for example, my Wandacoat HS specifies I believe a 1.3 to 1.6 mm gun). Primer is usually 1.8 to 2.0. Basecoat and clearcoat are usually 1.3-1.6. I am painting my motorcycle and my primer gun has a 1.8 tip and my basecoat gun uses a 1.4. I am using Spraymax 2k in rattle cans for my clear but my 1.4 gun would also be for the Wanda clear coat if I used that. Primer is going to always be thicker. For flakes, you can use a 1.8 to 2.5 with 2.0 being a good size for that.
Music sucks and it is obvious English is a second language for you. Keep working on your English skills they will improve with time and practice. Your painting skills are great.
Very therapeutic to watch

No wax and grease remover?
Hi Gun
can you tall what wet on wet primer/sealer you have used please.
Cheers from UK

First I thought that you do not worry since it was only the filler coat and you would have the chance to sand it out. But you did not, did you?
Gunman, I noticed you didn't sand the primer before painting. Don't you have to sand primer to get an ultra smooth paint job?
It’s sealer …🤣
What kinds of paint u use sir gunman
Hai..begitu cepat prosesnya

How do you stop your camera from being damaged with paint?
What primer did you use?
If i use the wet on wet, does that mean i have to paint my colour on within 10 r so mins before the primer dries??

Hi Gunman, what tip/nozzle do you use with that A.N.I. R150 for clear touch-up 1.0mm ?
Hello, Gunman!
Qurious what kind of hardener (medium or slow) do you use for sealer and clear? What about the oerspray on close located parts? What temperature in a spraybooth?
gday what make is the mask?
How does spraying small parts affect your gun setup?
How much u charge for this
are you still using your Nordson spray gun?
Not really, I realised it's a bit outdated after using my pro lite then going back to the Nordson, it's quite hungry.
which pressure used for clear coat?
3 bar with the ANI
Yes, just paint some shit bro looks good
you using a grey sealer or is it a wet on wet primer?
Wet on wet
Bos your noodle for primer 1.??

You base your gun tip size (noodles you eat, haha) with the paint you get. Music sucks and it is obvious English is a second language for you. Keep working on your English skills they will improve with time and practice. Your painting skills are great.
