This video features the first of two check ride prep flights I took with my instructor. Before this flight I hadn't done any maneuvers for nine months, and as you can tell, I was pretty rusty. We flew out to the northeast practice area and did almost every PPL maneuver in the Airman Certification Standards. We didn't do a rectangular course or a forward slip to landing along with others, but those were covered on the second flight. I performed much better on the second flight than I did on the first. The airplane is a 1979 Cessna 172N Skyhawk (N6513D) that I rent form Scottsdale Executive Flight Training. I hope you enjoy this video and I hope it helps people with their check ride prep.
